When we think of solar power, we picture a field or a roof full of glass panels churning out electricity. However, this is just a more recent development in channeling the suns energy. Most histories of solar power will begin with stories regarding the use of magnifying glasses and mirrors to make fire. From the first to fourth centuries, the Romans began including large south-facing windows in their famous bathhouses, optimizing the heat energy the sun provided to heat the buildings.

Now They Are Actually Working On A Plan To Block Out The Sun

However, this led to an interesting development. In the sixth century, not only bathhouses but also many Roman houses and public buildings trended toward having a sunroom. As such, the Justinian Code actually enshrined sun rights so that each individual would be guaranteed access to the sun. Once the government enshrines access to the sun as a right, it is easy to compare sun rights to Murray Rothbards hypothetical governments right to shoes:

The libertarian who wants to replace government by private enterprises in the above areas is thus treated in the same way as he would be if the government had, for various reasons, been supplying shoes as a tax-financed monopoly from time immemorial. If the government and only the government had a monopoly of the shoe manufacturing and retailing business, how would most of the public treat the libertarian who now came along to advocate that the government get out of the shoe business and throw it open to private enterprise? Its easy to be negative and smart-alecky about government; but tell us who would supply shoes? Which people? How many shoe stores would be available in each city and town? How would the shoe firms be capitalized? How many brands would there be? What material would they use? What lasts? What would be the pricing arrangements for shoes? Wouldnt regulation of the shoe industry be needed to see to it that the product is sound? And who would supply the poor with shoes? Suppose a poor person didnt have the money to buy a pair?...

Many Americans are completely dependent upon the work of others to survive.

Ive often written about how weve become a nation of consumers instead of a nation of producers, and with that decline in productivity, we have lost much of the freedom we once treasured.

This is because they are not independent. They are the opposite of that theyre dependent.

Their food comes in little cartons that have been inspected and labeled as safe, despite the numerous carcinogens and unpronounceable chemicals within.
Their meat is raised in horrific conditions in a facility crowded in with other animals. These animals are so sick and stressed that they have to be constantly medicated and treated with hormones to make them grow faster and keep them alive until slaughter time. Those chemicals pass on to the consumer, of course.
Their fruits, vegetables, and grains are doused with a chemical so carcinogenic that it isnt allowed to be used in Europe and one state has insisted that all food so treated must be labeled as potentially carcinogenic.
Their medicine comes from the pharmacy. They purchase it for enormous sums of money after a doctors visit that isnt actually covered by the massively expensive insurance they are forced to buy, so hes paid from their pocket too.
Their utility usage is without thought. Their heat comes from a dial, their water comes from a faucet, and their electricity comes from those little plugs in the wall. If for some reason those things worked no longer, most people would have no idea how to function.

Russia claims that it has neither the intention nor the capability to contain NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) the United States-led military bloc, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said. However, Russia also demands that its security concerns regarding NATO be met.

Medvedev further argued in a keynote article on Sunday against the notion that Russia miscalculated in its attempt to prevent NATOs expansion into Ukraine, and caused Finland and Sweden to apply for membership, according to a report by RT.

What Russia has always called for was not to invite into NATO the former parts of our country. Especially those with which we have territorial disputes, Medvedev wrote. I want to repower my woodchipper with a little bit more powerful engine. It's got a 6.5hp that can be a bit slow.
If I add a second chipper blade and wanted it to turn a 1.5 inch stick into chips without barely slowing down I would need about a 20 to 27hp engine. Queensland Opens Needle-Free Vaccine Skin Patch Manufacturing Factory SHTF Plan

Australia has opened a supposedly state-of-the-art facility for manufacturing vaccine skin patches.

The facility, to be set up in the suburb of Hamilton in Brisbane, Queensland, supposedly seeks to simplify the complex process and the exceptional costs associated with traditional vaccine delivery methods. The Australian government further said that this new manufacturing facility will better position the country to tackle future disease outbreaks more effectively.

Spanning an expansive 5,500 square meters (60,000 square feet), the facility will function as both a global headquarters and a biomedical center. The state government of Queensland is providing generous subsidies for biotech company Vaxxas to operate the facility.

Vaxxas plans to manufacture and distribute its first commercially available vaccine patches from the facility within the next three to five years. The company and the Queensland government claim that these patches will enhance accessibility to vaccines, particularly in areas within Australia that do not have as readily-available access to trained medical professionals and proper storage facilities for vaccines.

This world-renowned technology has the potential to play a vital role in pandemic preparedness because it allows vaccines to be deployed quickly and easily to our communities, said left-wing Queensland Deputy Premier Stevel Miles at the facilitys inauguration.

As a lot of you know, Ive been living in Europe for the past six months. But not fancy Europe. No Paris, no London, no Berlin, no Milan. Instead, Im sticking to the less expensive and many would argue, less sophisticated Balkan countries. Ive learned a lot from this research-heavy trip and one thing that particularly applies to preparedness is traditional food.

Sure, theyve got modern bistros in Sofia and spicy Thai bowls in Bucharest, but my goal is not to be fancy its to eat what local folks eat. So I focus on traditional restaurants, farmers markets, bakeries, and the like to stay fed. And if you pay attention when you do this, theres a lot you can learn from traditional diets.

I always lose weight when I spend time in Europe. Part of it is probably due to the walking I dont have a car here, and my feet are my transportation. But the other part is the healthy, balanced local cuisine that isnt soaked in glyphosate or tainted with genetic science. I notice an immediate difference in how my joints feel and in my energy levels. And this is all without restricting food or cutting out entire dietary groups. Its simply eating normal food like a normal person.

Let me be perfectly clear: Im not suggesting you need to slave for hours in the kitchen over every single meal. A lot of these things are not particularly labor intensive, and there are always shortcuts you can take while maintaining the level of nutrition that is just a part of traditional food.

Here are a few observations. These probably arent earth-shattering, but I hope you find them of interest.

In Bulgaria, a meal is not complete without a smokey dollop of lutenitsa. This is a sauce that is predominantly made from red peppers and also contains tomato, eggplant, onion, and carrot. The veggies are grilled or roasted then pureed into a sauce that is used as a condiment for meat and french fries and is also spread on a piece of fresh, warm crusty bread. I've been reading about the processed food industry and it makes me feel thankful that I'm cleaning up my nutrition and eating more whole foods.

I have a feeling that the products we buy for skincare, sunscreen, and insect repellent may be equally chemical ridden and awful for us.

Social unrest spread like cancer across French cities for a fourth consecutive night, with hundreds of buildings and vehicles set ablaze. President Emmanuel Macrons government struggled to contain the violence, which was sparked on Tuesday after a teenager was shot dead by a police officer.

In an update on Saturday, Frances Interior Ministry said 2,500 fires were reported overnight. Rioters set fire to 1,350 vehicles and 235 buildings nationwide. About 1,300 people were arrested, while the government mobilized 45,000 police officers with armored vehicles to quell the violence.

According to The Telegraph, French police said they were at war with savage hordes of vermin on Friday night. The countrys top police unions threatened revolt unless Macrons government restored law and order.

Today the police are in combat because we are at war. Tomorrow we will enter resistance and the government should be aware of this, police unions said.
