Photographer Captures Hunting Prowess of Bald Eagles Catching Fish and Eating It in Mid-Air

Bald Eagle by Mark Smith Photography

Bald eagles are impressive animals. As one of the largest raptors in the world, they can have a wingspan of up to 8 feet. Expert hunters, they live near water to have a constant supply of fish, turtles, ducks, and snakes. And when they spot a tasty snack, they can swoop down at up to 100 miles per hour and pluck their prey from the water. It sounds incredible on paper, but the visual is even better.

Thankfully, Mark Smith is an expert at capturing video of the precise moment when bald eagles strike. His recordings, which he posts to his popular Instagram, pay homage to the power and glory of this bird, which has been a symbol of America since the 18th century. In one clip, the bald eagle flies down with determination and, after it's gotten the fish in its talons, swallows it whole while in mid-air.

As Smith frequents an area where a large bald eagle population is present, he notes that they are often competing for food. This most likely accounts for why the eagle wasn't taking any chances with its catch. They often have to eat on the wing in order to avoid theft or confrontation, he tells My Modern Met.

In another video, the eagle leisurely glides sideways to the surface of the water. The large fish it ultimately grabs is helpless as the eagle flies off into the sky with it tightly clutched between its talons. And while their dives into the water are impressive, this isn't the only way that eagles hunt.

Smith was able to capture a video of a bald eagle slowly making its way across a bed of oysters to snatch a fish with its beak. As it stalked its prey, the bird's gaze intensified. Only once the fish was in its mouth did the raptor take in its surrounding, even looking right at the camera.

For Smith, the opportunity to see these moments is priceless. Thankfully, he's happy to share his work so that everyone can appreciate the power and grace of these raptors.

Binance Rescinds Decision To Remove Privacy Coins From European Market "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Binance has made a decision to reverse its initial plan of delisting certain privacy coins in Europe. This change in course comes after the exchange revised its operations to align with the local regulatory requirements.

According to the developers of Verge (XVG) and Secret (SCRT) cryptocurrencies, a significant outcome was achieved. Seven privacy-focused tokens were stopped from being de-listed. These tokens, which were at risk of being removed from the listings, have been successfully retained.

A comment received from the cryptocurrency exchange on June 26 states:

After carefully considering feedback from our community and several projects, we have revised how we classify privacy coins on our platform to comply with EU-wide regulatory requirements.

The crypto exchange also mentioned that due to its status as a registered exchange in multiple European Union jurisdictions, it is obligated to comply with local regulations.

These regulations mandate that exchanges have the capability to monitor transactions involving the coins listed on their platform.

In May, Binance communicated via email to its customers in France, Italy, Spain, and Poland regarding changes to its services. The message outlined the discontinuation of trading services for 12 cryptocurrencies known for enabling anonymous transactions.

Prominent privacy coins such as Monero, Dash, and Zcash were among those affected. Additionally, lesser-known tokens like XVG and SCRT were also scheduled for delisting from the exchanges offerings.

Following the retraction of the decision to delist privacy-focused tokens, several projects have utilized Twitter as a platform to provide reassurance to their community members.

Binance Complies As EU Sets Standards For Digital Assets

The decision to delist privacy-focused tokens came as a response to the European Unions implementation of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation.

This regulation includes the travel rule for crypto transactions, which requires enhanced transparency and information sharing. Consequently, there is a potential risk for firms facilitating the trading of privacy coins to be non-compliant with EU law.

EU policymakers have established clear regulations with the goal of positioning Europe as a leading h...

Brilliant Sculptural Stories Unfold From Carefully Crafted Pages of Books

Book Sculptures by Emma Taylor

Usually, when we read, the story comes alive in our heads. UK-based artist Emma Taylor takes this experience to a new level in her incredible book sculptures. Using discarded texts, she crafts three-dimensional animals and objects from the pages. From ships that sprout from antique atlases to insects flying from animal guides, these carefully-modeled sculptures playfully interact with their original source.

Taylor spends countless hours finding materials for her art. In particular, upcycling old or abandoned books (typically from the early 20th century) is an integral part of her practice. In my work, I give new life to old books by creating intricate sculptures which appear to emerge directly from the paper pages, Taylor explains to My Modern Met. The often minute details I create draw the viewer into each sculpture, as fine strips of text are transformed into rigging on a seafaring galleon, printed words become individual feathers shaping a birds wing or singular letters form the bricks of grand buildings.

For Taylor, choosing the right book comes down to instinct. She says that certain texts inspire her immediately, while in other cases, she sometimes has to seek out a specific book for an idea she already has in mind. Nature is an endless source of inspiration for me with trees in particular being a recurrent theme, she adds. Each tree I make references the origin of the paper itself as I transform the paper pages back into trunks and branches; also connecting the wisdom of ancient trees to the wisdom contained within many books.

Scroll down to see some of Taylors fantastic book sculptures and check out more from her growing portfolio on her website.

MicroBT Brings ASIC Manufacturing To America In Partnership With Riot Platforms "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Riot Platforms, the largest public U.S. Bitcoin mining company in terms of developed capacity, has made a groundbreaking announcement regarding a partnership with Bitcoin ASIC manufacturer, MicroBT. The two major bitcoin companies will bring the production of MicroBTs ASICs to America. The collaboration aims to secure miners for Riot's Corsicana facility, significantly boosting the company's mining capabilities. According to a press release shared with Bitcoin Magazine, this development comes as Riot's Corsicana facility is set to increase the company's developed capacity to 1.6 GW.

This agreement directly repudiates every major criticism of our industry, the press release stated. For those concerned about our energy consumption, these machines will be more efficient than ever For those who say Bitcoin mining data centers do not actually create jobs, we are helping to create hundreds of jobs, between the MicroBT manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania, and our state of the art data center coming to Corsicana, Texas.

One of the key highlights of this partnership is the expected increase in Riot's self-mining hash rate capacity. The press release states that by mid-2024, upon the full installation of the machines from this order, Riot's self-mining hash rate capacity is projected to surge by approximately 61% to over 20 EH/s. This significant boost in capacity further establishes Riot's position as a leading player in the Bitcoin mining industry.

Moreover, this partnership between Riot and MicroBT also marks a pivotal moment for the industry. Bitcoin miner manufacturing has traditionally been concentrated in Asia, but this new partnership with Riot strengthens the domestic supply chain in the United States. It expands the options available to Bitcoin miners, offering them a robust selection of machines.

Importantly, the collaboration between Riot and MicroBT will not only have a positive impact on the industry but also on local job creation. The machines will be manufactured by MicroBT at a new facility in the United States, generating employment opportunities in the local area.

Riot's partnership with MicroBT signifies a major milestone within the Bitcoin mining industry. With the increased hash rate, domestic manufacturing and job creation, this collaboration is set to shape the future of Bitcoin mining in the United States and contribute to the growth of the industry as a whole.

Help stop a bad vaccine bill in the California Legislature! "IndyWatch Feed Food"

AB 659 was initially introduced with the requirement of administering the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to California public and private school 8-12th graders, as well as all public higher education students.  However, with the help of your advocacy, subsequent amendments to the bill led to the removal of these mandates.

What remains in the bill is a policy stating that all individuals under the age of 26 are expected to receive the HPV vaccine prior to entering 8th grade in Californias public or private schools, as well as all public higher education establishments.

Despite the improvements in the bill, it still carries certain flaws that may result in unintended consequences.  The Weston A. Price Foundation maintains its opposition to the bill in its current form due to concerns about the confusing language stating that the HPV vaccine is expected.  This wording does not effectively communicate that the vaccine is not mandatory for 8th grade or college/university entry, thus leading to potential misunderstandings.

Also, HPV vaccines have far too many problems with side effects, so the state should not have a public policy expecting the vaccination of students.

HPV vaccination can carry life-threatening side effects.  There have been more than 73,000 adverse reactions, including many deaths, reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) related to the HPV vaccine and it is estimated by the government that only 1% of all reactions are ever reported!

Did you know that the HPV vaccine, called Gardasil 9:

  • may actually increase precancerous lesions
  • only targets a few of the over 100 known human papillomaviruses
  • has not been shown to last longer than 5 years

And it has never been properly studied, despite the tens of thousands of adverse reactions that have been reported to the government in connection with the HPV vaccine.

Students should not be expected to get this high-risk vaccine for a sexually transmitted disease!

AB 659 passed the Full Assembly on 5-31-23 and was referred to the Senate Education and Health Committees.  It will be heard in the Senate Health Committee on June 28, 2023.

Please help us get this bill amended once again!

Pepe Surge: Trading Volume Outshines SHIB And DOGE Will This Trend Continue? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Pepe (PEPE) has experienced a surge in trading volume within the last 24 hours, surpassing both Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE).

PEPE Defies Expectations with Remarkable Trading Volume Amidst Market Volatility

Despite a minor 5.8% decrease in its price, Pepes trading volume reached an astounding $281.3 million during the last 24 hours.

The market capitalization of this meme-inspired digital asset currently stands at $631 million. In contrast to the more widely recognized meme cryptocurrencies, Shiba Inu, Pepes trading volume surpassed expectations.

Amidst a significant surge in the value of Bitcoin (BTC) and various alternative cryptocurrencies, PEPE is emerging as the frontrunner within its specific market segment.

As of the time of writing, PEPECOIN has experienced a spike of 38.29%, outpacing its counterparts in terms of growth rate.

PEPECOIN Emerges Victorious, Surpassing Dogecoin, And Shiba Inu

Before the recent resurgence that swept across the entire cryptocurrency industry, PEPECOIN had faced disillusionment from traders who deemed it a digital currency that had lost momentum. On June 22, the cryptocurrency was trading at a spot price of $0.000001425, a level driven by the substantial growth in trading volume observed over the past 24 hours.

PEPE price chart from TradingView.com

CoinMarketCap data reveals a staggering $687 million market capitalization of PEPE tokens, reflecting a 253% surge within the 24-hour timeframe.

Dogecoin fell behind Pepes performance with a 24-hour trading volume of $189.2 million and a market capitalization of $9.3 billion. Similarly, Shiba Inu trailed behind Pepe with a 24-hour trading volume of $103 million and a market cap of $4.6 billion.

This development underlines the dynamic nature of meme cryptocurrencies, where Pepes recent surge signifies its growing prominence within the market.

Pepes remarkable ascent coincides with a week of gains across the cryptocurrency market as a whole. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), the two most valuable cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, had price rises of 14.2% and 8.8%, respectively, in the previous week. Bitcoin boasts a 24-hour trading volume of $11.9 billion, while Ethereums volume is $6.8 billion.

Throughout 17th and 18th centuries, Europes upper classes entered an era of unprecedented prosperity due to exploding commerce and trade. The wealthy sought to express their status, and portraiture, which had previously been exclusive to royalty, became the perfect indicator of social rank. In England, these paintings became known as Grand Manner works, and the Dutch school counted well-known names like Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, and Frans Hals among its cohort, still captivating us today at sellout exhibitions. For German artist Volker Hermes, this era of art history provides an endless source of inspiration.

Lightning Network Hits Record Highs In Bitcoin And US Dollar Capacity "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The Lightning Network, Bitcoins Layer 2 payment protocol, has achieved a new landmark, reaching an all-time high in Bitcoin capacity, a pivotal move underscoring the networks continued growth and increased adoption.

The network, which works by locking Bitcoin in payment channels, witnessed a substantial boost, pushing its Bitcoin capacity to a record-high of more than 5,500 BTC for the first time since April, according to data from The Block.

This monumental achievement signifies not just the robust growth of the network, but also the increasing confidence in the Lightning Network as a viable payment protocol.

Surge In Bitcoin Network Capacity

According to The Block, this past Saturday, the Lightning Network attained an apex in capacity, hitting 5,630 BTC. This figure surpasses the prior peak of 5,620 BTC recorded on April 18. Concurrently, the networks US Dollar capacity also reached an all-time high, topping $172 million.

Related Reading: Nansen Forecast For Bitcoin Bull Run: Regulatory Clarity And Lower Inflation

The Block noted, as these numbers reveal, Lightning Networks capacity has grown significantly, increasing 42% in Bitcoin and 105% in US Dollar terms over the last 12 months. This considerable advancement is a testament to the ongoing acceptance and utilization of the Lightning Network in the crypto world.

The Future Of Lightning Network

David Marcus, CEO of enterprise-grade Lightning Network firm Lightspark, emphasized the importance of expanding the networks infrastructure and capacity.

Marcus said the reason for this was Particularly because we can actually guarantee that even larger payments succeed on Lightning, which in the past has been pretty hard to achieve.

Envisioning the future, Marcus explained that this development could enable any enterprise out there to access a real-time, super low-cost settlement network for the internet thats interoperable, thats open, that any developer can build on.

Notably, Marcus underscored the need for the greater exchange involved in the network, arguing that this would not only bolster Bitcoin mobility but also enhance the Lightning Network on and off-ramps. Moreover, the Lightning Networks success in Bitcoin a...

BTC Prague And The Value Of In-Person Bitcoin "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Marek Feder, the editor in chief of Investro and a Bitcoin journalist who recently attended the BTC Prague event.

Lets start with a disclaimer: I am not associated with the organizers of BTC Prague in any way, so in this article, I only provide my personal experience and views as an attendee. And one more disclaimer: I have not been to many Bitcoin conferences, so my takes and impressions from BTC Prague might be old news for some of you. However, I do believe that it was the first huge Bitcoin conference not only for myself, but also for countless others from Central Europe, so it might be nice to sum up the whole experience.

A Conference Literally For Anyone

The fact that the cheapest ticket to BTC Prague was only 9 euro (about $11) means that this conference was literally for anyone. There were obviously some limitations to this access, but the cheapest ticket got people to the exposition area as well as to two stages, which was definitely well worth it. This was probably one of the nicest touches by the organizers, as they made this conference available for masses, even outside of Bitcoin.

This was further enhanced by the fact that the programming on the Czech Stage was entirely about Bitcoin basics. It contained talks about what money is; introductions to Bitcoin, privacy and self-custody; explanation of the differences between Bitcoin and Ethereum; and much more.

For two days, newcomers to the Bitcoin world could have listened to some of Bitcoins finest from the Czech Republic and Slovakia and receive educations equal to those gained from studying for hundreds of hours. I believe this highlights the importance of in-person conferences and affordable events that can help with orange pilling the mainstream.

Industry Day Rulez!

While the main conference presented on the Czech Stage and programming for Bitcoin beginners took part on June 9 and June 10, the industry day content focused on businesses started on June 8, and I believe this was the best day for making connections and new friends.

First of all, during the day, there were only two stages with talks and keynotes (the Czech Stage was not open at that time), meaning that there was less of an official program. This allowed people to spend more time in the well-thought-out and inspiring exposition area, where they could find dozens and dozens of companies and Bitcoin organizations. With more than 70 stalls and booths, attendees had a chance to talk to mining businesses, wallet providers, Bitcoin book shops, education organizations and countless other Bitcoin-related businesses.

And since the expo area was not as crowded on industry day, it provided the be...

Bitcoin Bullish Signal: Exchange Whale Ratio Plunges "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

On-chain data shows that the Bitcoin exchange whale ratio has taken a plunge recently. Heres why this may be bullish for the assets price.

Bitcoin Exchange Whale Ratio Has Registered A Sharp Decline Recently

As pointed out by an analyst in a CryptoQuant post, the selling pressure in the market may be diminishing right now. The exchange whale ratio is an indicator that measures the ratio between the sum of the top ten Bitcoin transactions to exchanges and the total exchange inflow.

Generally, the 10 largest transactions to exchanges are coming from whale entities, so this metric can tell us how the inflows of these humongous holders compare with that of the entire market.

When the value of this ratio is high, it means that the whales are making up a large part of the total inflows currently. As one of the main reasons why investors deposit to exchanges is for selling-related purposes, this kind of trend can be a sign that this cohort may be taking part in mass dumping right now.

On the other hand, low values of the indicator imply the whales are contributing a relatively healthy portion toward the inflows at the moment. Since these large investors arent selling significantly more than the rest of the market during such periods, the price of the cryptocurrency can feel a bullish effect.

Now, here is a chart that shows the trend in the 72-hour simple moving average (SMA) Bitcoin exchange whale ratio over the past several months:

Bitcoin Exchange Whale Ratio

As displayed in the above graph, the 72-hour SMA Bitcoin exchange whale ratio has plummeted recently, implying that the whale deposits have dropped relative to the rest of the market.

Before this plunge, the indicator had been in an overall uptrend since March, suggesting that these humongous investors were possibly slowly ramping up their selling.

During the recent period when the assets price was struggling, the metric had surged to around 0.88, meaning that around 88% of the total exchange inflows were coming from this cohort alone.

Following the latest rapid decline, however, the 72-hour SMA Bitcoin exchange whale ratio has dropped to around 0.80. Interestingly, this drawdown in the indicator has come while the coin has seen a...

Leaked FDIC Video: We Cant Tell The Public Whats Actually Happening "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Ive been warning you that Bank Bail-Ins are coming Some people said I was crazy. Some people said it could never happen because accounts are FDIC insured. Well folks, for everyone who doubted you have to watch this. Its only 12 minutes long but its going to rock your world. Here is leaked video directly from an FDIC meeting where they admit two things   1 Bail-ins are not only possible but theyre very likely in the near future. 2 FDIC insurance is only solvent enough to cover just 1% of all bank deposits on record. Soif even just 2% of all depositors try to take their money out of the banks, the system is toast and FDIC insurance cannot cover even that much. Now consider 10%. Or 20%. Or more. Does this suddenly start to make a lot of sense now? Have any of you ever tried to take a large sum of money out of YOUR bank account? You think of it as your bank account, but just try taking out a big chunk, I dare ya! See how that goes for you. And by big chunk I mean anything over $5,000. Shoot, try $50,000 and they might call the cops on you! Not joking. Anyone who has ever tried probably all had the same experience. First they pepper you with a million questions: What do you need the money for? Where is it going? To which the correct answer to each is NUNYA! As in, None-Ya-Business! But the banks think it is their business. Theyll interrogate you. Theyll call the Manager over. Theyll make you fill out a million forms. And then theyll finally, reluctantly, tell you ok you can have your money but we dont have it right now so give us a few days and come back in 72 hours and well have it ready for you. Anyone who has ever tried to do this knows Im not exaggerating any of that. 3 Now, heres the third and most stunning part of the video During the meeting, the FDIC commissioners are openly discussing how they cant risk letting the public know what is really going on with the FDIC. It would be too dangerous. It would...

The Lion of Chaeronea "IndyWatch Feed Literature"

Gold solidus of Flavius Romulus Augustus, aka Romulus Augustulus, last ruler of the Western Roman Empire (r. 475-476 CE). Augustulus (Little Augustus), who was roughly ten years old at the time of his accession, served as a puppet of his father Orestes, magister militum (master of the soldiers) and a former courtier of Attila the Hun. Less than a year into Romulus reign, the Germanic chieftain Odoacer (who had been denied permission to settle his people in the Italian peninsula) defeated and killed Orestes, becoming the first King of Italy. Romulus was allowed to live and spent the remainder of his life in peaceful seclusion at a fortress in Campania; the date of his death is unknown. While his deposition marked the formal end of the Empire in the West, its institutions and ideology would continue to exert profound influence over future European political entities, and the Eastern half of the Empire would remain in existence for nearly a thousand years more.

This solidus was minted at Mediolanum (Milan). The obverse bears a bust of Augustulus in military garb, while the reverse (not shown) bears the image of Victoria, who carries a scepter topped with a cross. Photo credit: American Numismatic Society.

Avalanche (AVAX) Rumbles With 18% Gain Is A Trend Reversal On The Horizon? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Avalanche (AVAX) recently experienced a breakout, successfully overcoming a major obstacle at $13. This particular hurdle had proven to be a significant challenge for AVAX bulls in the preceding weeks, hampering their upward momentum.

The surge in AVAXs performance can be attributed to multiple factors, one of which is the increasing demand for the network.

As Bitcoin prices rose, more users sought to utilize the wrapped BTC on Avalanche, contributing to the networks growing user base. Will AVAXs upward momentum continue?

Avalanche Price Shows Signs Of Exhaustion

The price of AVAX, currently standing at $13.37 according to CoinGecko, has demonstrated a 2.7% rally within the past 24 hours, accompanied by an impressive seven-day surge of 18.0%. However, a closer examination reveals that AVAXs recent upward momentum may be losing steam.

Between June 10 and 25, AVAX gained a substantial 40% and established a price range spanning from $9.65 to $14.25. Despite approaching the upper boundary of this range, indications of exhaustion are becoming increasingly evident.

Notably, from June 21 to 25, AVAXs price formed three distinct higher highs. However, during the same period, the AVAXs Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Awesome Oscillator (AO) formed lower highs.

What could be more charmingly idyllic than a glimpse of snowy-bearded Impressionist Claude Monet calmly painting en plein-air in his garden at Giverny?

A wide-brimmed hat and two luxuriously large patio-type umbrellas provide shade, while the artist stays cool in a pristine white suit.

His canvas is off camera for the most part, but given the coordinates, it seems safe to assume the subjects got something to do with the famous Japanese footbridge spanning Monets equally famous lily pond.

Ethereum Poised To Break $2,000 As $12 Million Short Seller Nears Liquidation "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The Ethereum price has followed Bitcoins lead and has seen a 10.3% price increase over the past seven days. News of BlackRocks Bitcoin spot ETF filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission took the entire market by surprise and also breathed new life into altcoins. For one trader on the decentralized perpetual exchange GMX, however, the news is not really good news, but rather a nightmare.

Ethereum Short Seller Getting Rekt?

The largest short seller on GMX is using 6.64x leverage to short Ether (ETH) at an entry price of $1,703.97. A total of $1.8 million of collateral is at stake for the anonymous trader. At press time, the position was down 77.4% for a total of -$1.416 million.

As it stands, the traders short position of about $12 million in ETH will be liquidated when the Ethereum price reaches $1,945.18. According to a report from Chinese journalist Colin Wu, it could be the owner of rebelvarma.lens.

As popular analyst An Apes Prologue speculates, the ETH short seller could even double down on his bet. As the analyst writes, the consensus assumes that the short position will be liquidated when ETH reaches $1945. However, there are limit orders that could add a total of $149,000 to the traders collateral within the $1935 and $1945 price range. If triggered, this could increase the liquidation price to around $1967.

The analysts chart below shows how his liquidation price changes with ETH price swings. Until Ethereum reaches $1935, the liquidation price remains at $1945, but limit orders are trigge...

Watch Mall City, the Original Gonzo Documentary That Captures the Height of Shopping-Mall Culture (1983) "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

httvs://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmWTHCHHzZY

No American who came of age in the nineteen-eighties or in most of the seventies or nineties, for that matter could pretend not to understand the importance of the mall. Edina, Minnesotas Southdale Center, which defined the modern shopping malls enclosed, department store-anchored form, opened in 1956. Over the decades that followed, living patterns suburbanized and developers responded by plunging into a long and profitable orgy of mall-building, with the result that generations of adolescents lived in reasonably easy reach of such a commercial institution. Some came to shop and others came to work, but if Hugh Kinniburghs documentary Mall City is to be believed, most came just to hang out.

Introduced as A SAFARI TO STUDY MALL CULTURE, Mall City consists of interviews conducted by Kinniburgh and his NYU Film School collaborators during one day in 1983 at the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. Unsurprisingly, their interviewees tend to be young, strenuously coiffed, and dressed with studied nonchalance in striped T-shirts and Members Only-style windbreakers.

Uniswap (UNI) Price Rockets 22% Is There More Fuel In The Tank? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Uniswap (UNI) has emerged as a formidable force within the cryptocurrency space, showcasing an impressive growth of 22% in recent weeks.

As one of the leading decentralized exchanges (DEX) built on the Ethereum blockchain, Uniswap has gained widespread recognition for its innovative approach to facilitating peer-to-peer token swaps.

With its unique automated market maker (AMM) model and emphasis on user empowerment, Uniswap has become a go-to platform for traders and liquidity providers alike.

The significant surge in UNIs value begs the question: does it have enough fuel to climb higher?

Uniswap Optimism Incentives Contributes To UNI Rally

A recent UNI report has highlighted that Uniswaps incentives on the Optimism network (OP) have generated diverse outcomes when it comes to liquidity and the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector.

While the effectiveness of these incentives may have varied, the price of UNI has demonstrated a strong bullish trend on the charts.

Over the past 24 hours, UNI has experienced a significant rally, with its price reaching $5.46 on CoinGecko, marking an impressive 15.3% increase.

Additionally, in the span of the last seven days, UNI has likewise demonstrated remarkable growth, surging by nearly 22%. These substantial price gains indicate a positive market sentiment surrounding UNI and suggest the potential for further upward movement.

In World War II at the beginning of the war days after the Pearl Harbor attack the call for Japanese American internment camps began. Now, to be fair you and I did not live in that period of history after the Great Depression and the anticipation of an unwanted war in Europe or with Japan, but the American public had been aware for some time of possible war with the Japanese and once the New York Times did its job and began releasing press content of the horrid atrocities being committed by the Japanese in Manchuria, the public was already incensed! I can see that the reaction of internment camps for the Japanese was simply an understandable but regrettable reaction to the sneak attack at Pearl Harbor, but for the US government to confiscate the possessions, homes, and shops of Japanese families was unforgivable! There should have been reparations for them by the end of the war, but thats government for you! In reality just as there was a Nazi 5th Column active in the US there were Japanese espionage agents on Oahu in Hawaii and on the west coast of California observing.

Life-Saving Video Shows How To Recognize the Signs of Stroke

Man sitting and daughter standing in kitchen in screenshot of video about the first signs of a stroke

Photo: Screenshot from YouTube

According to the FDA, stroke is the fifth leading cause of death and a leading cause of serious disability in the United States. That's why knowing the first signs can save a life. But what are the signs of a stroke? The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada produced an informative and straightforward video demonstrating how the symptoms look in realistic detail.

The video begins from the point of view of the mother, and it depicts the family getting ready for dinner. They are casually chatting, when the daughter says Dad, a side of your face is droopingmom? The father slurringly tries to reply It's probably nothing. The mother then asks him to raise his hands in the air, but after failing to do so, instructs the girl to call 911 to let them know that he looks like he is having a stroke.

As the paramedics arrive and the dad is taken away, the family looks visibly upset. The video depicts the real emotions felt during an episode like this as if letting viewers know that it's understandable to be upset as it unfolds. The story then cuts to the family at the hospital. While the husband lies on a bed wearing a robe, the doctors tell them that thanks to their quick reaction, the man is expected to make a full recovery.

The video then introduces the signs of stroke under the acronym FAST: FaceIs it drooping? ArmsCan you raise both? SpeechIs it slurred or jumbled? Time to call 911 right away. While the video may be a hard watch for some, it has been praised for its true depiction of the symptoms.

Archives of Joy: Reflections on Animals and the Nature of Being

Joy is not a thing of the will, not subject to control and conquest. It comes when we least expect it, like a murmuration of starlings across the evening sky. It stays for as long as we are able to stay openhearted to the tender transience of life. Anas Nin knew this when she contemplated its elusive nature, and Beethoven knew it when he spent half a lifetime capturing it in music.

The secret pulse-beat of joy is what Jean-Franois Beauchemin explores in Archives of Joy: Reflections on Animals and the Nature of Being (public library) an invitation to a certain, forgotten way of seeing the world and an exultation at earthly life, with its duration so short it obliges us to surpass ourselves.

Why a Germ Expert Is Begging You To Remove the Foil or Plastic Seal Under the Lid of Your Containers After Opening "IndyWatch Feed Health"

If you frequent Reddit or engage in household debates on food storage, youve likely encountered the controversy surrounding foil or plastic seals on food products like yogurt and sour cream. Should these seals be removed or retained for additional coverage after opening? One couple debated this question for an impressive ten years before a directive from the very product in question solved their quandary. The husband found the unexpected resolution under the contentious disposable seal, which was imprinted with a manufacturers instruction: To prolong freshness, completely remove and discard this foil seal.

This straightforward message from the product manufacturer may solve the debate, but it still leaves us wondering about the original purpose of the seals. Moreover, how can leaving these seals on an opened container compromise the freshness of its contents? In pursuit of these answers, we consulted two renowned germ experts.

Understanding the Purpose of Foil or Plastic Seals on Food Containers

According to Jason Tetro, a respected microbiologist and author of the book The Germ Files, there are two primary reasons for the existence of these seals. Firstly, it helps to increase shelf lifethe container is usually flushed with nitrogen before sealing, which reduces the amount of oxygen inside, he explains. Nitrogen flushing is a common technique used by food manufacturers to prolong the shelf-life of their products. The reduction of oxygen inside the container is intended to suppress the growth of aerobic bacteria and fungi, which can cause food to spoil.

Secondly, these seals serve as a protective barrier for the containers contents. It helps to prevent the introduction of chemicals and microbes that could spoil the products and/or cause illnesses, states Tetro.

Adding further clarity to this matter, microbial ecologist Jack A. Gilbert, Ph.D., a professor at the University of California San Diego, elaborates on the importance of the seal. He describes it as a safety and quality mechanism. This Is What Antarctica Looks Like Beneath the Ice

Antarctica Without Ice: What Would That Look Like?

The Bedmap2 topography beneath Antarctic ice. (Photo: NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center)

The ice caps are melting. Sea levels will rise. Climate change is reshaping the Earth. But what would an iceless world look like? NASA has an idea. In 2013, NASA created Bedmap2, a detailed topographical modelor suite of gridded productsshowing the bedrock landscape underneath icy Antarctica, as well as sea elevation. Through radar technology and detailed data collection of 25 million measurements, Bedmap2 provides insight into a changing world.

The original Bedmap was created in 2001. Bedmap2 uses a lot more data to create a compilation of knowledge surrounding the Antarctic region south of 60 degrees south. Surface elevation, ice thickness, and bedrock topography data from NASA and the British Antarctic Survey help paint a detailed picture of a hidden world. While Antarctica is 98% covered by ice, underneath is a range of rock mountains and gorges. Using radar technology, known as Multichannel Coherent Radar Depth Sounder, researchers discovered the lowest point on the continent: 9,416 feet below sea level under Byrd Glacier.

Ice sheets grow because of snow, and like honey poured on a plate, spread outward and thin due to their own weight, Sophie Nowicki, of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center said in a statement. The shape of the bed is the most important unknown, and affect how ice can flow. You can influence how honey spreads on your plate, by simply varying how you hold your plate.

The shape of the rock bed is particularly important for calculating how climate change will impact Antarctica and the world. 6.4 million cubic miles of ice could create a 190-foot sea-level rise. In fact, sea levels are...

Is She Wrong for Not Letting a Family Use Their Pump for a Deflated Ball? People Responded. "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

AITADeflatedBall Is She Wrong for Not Letting a Family Use Their Pump for a Deflated Ball? People Responded.

Well, this sounds weird

What could possibly be the harm in letting someone use your pump?

Its odd, right?

But something more must be going on here, so lets take a look at this story and see if this woman acted like an a**hole.

AITA for not letting a family use our pump for their deflated ball?

My boyfriend and I belong to a local community center with a few basketball courts. Sometimes on the weekends we like to go there just shoot around and have fun.

Unfortunately, the balls the community center has are almost always slightly deflated for some reason. You can remedy this by either bringing your own ball or your own pump. Since I already have a pump for my bike we usually just bring that and let other people use it too if they ask nicely.

We had the court to ourselves when a mom with her two 8-10 year old boys arrives. No big deal, they can use the other side of the court. The kids started playing and were having trouble with the deflated ball. Mom who was sitting and watching nearby noticed this, and noticed that our ball was pumped.

She came up to us and said we need to let her kids have a turn with the ball we were using, since it was the only good one. I told her that theyre all always deflated and that we actually brought a pump to fix one so we could use it. I said she couldnt have our ball, but she was welcome to use the pump to inflate the one her kids had....

McDonalds Fry Scandal Unveiled: The Not-So-Vegetarian Secret Behind the Worlds Most Iconic Fries "IndyWatch Feed Health"

This might leave you in a bit of a conundrum.

Popular TikToker, Jordan Howlett, famous for his intriguing fast food secrets, has dropped a bombshell revelation on his 9 million followers: McDonalds world-renowned fries might not be as vegetarian-friendly as we thought. This potentially game-changing information, targeting one of the key aspects of McDonalds global allure, has shaken the fast-food world to its core.

The Controversial Ingredient: Natural Beef Flavor

Howlett, 26, points out an ingredient named natural beef flavor thats found on the companys US online menu. He asserts that this is the reason why McDonalds fries taste different from everybody elses fries.

McDonalds cooks their fries with beef flavoring mixed within their vegetable oil, the San Diego-based TikToker explained in a recent TikTok video that has amassed over 9.6 million views. He suggests that this ingredient is what makes McDonalds fries irresistibly tasty but may pose a significant problem for vegetarians and those with specific dietary restrictions.

Howlett, upon discovering the use of beef flavoring in the fries, was rather intrigued. I thought it was incredibly interesting, he shared. He thought that the public, particularly those with dietary restrictions, should be aware of this information. Whether it contains meat or not doesnt really change my view on the McDonalds fries. I still enjoy them, he added.

This Widely Used Herb in Ayurveda Has Multiple Health Benefits Including Cancer Prevention, Inflammation Reduction, and Blood Purification "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Rooted deep within the traditional medicinal practices of India lies an extraordinary herb, extensively used and profoundly respected for millennia: the Neem, scientifically known as Azadirachta indica. From disease prevention and longevity to overall bodily wellness, neem has repeatedly proven its extraordinary efficacy. Its numerous, scientifically backed health benefits span from potent anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects to blood purification, liver health, and beyond. This comprehensive guide will delve into the fascinating world of neem, offering an enriching insight into its myriad health benefits, as well as sharing useful tips on its usage.

The Neem Herb: A Potent Life Enhancer

Boasting a long history of therapeutic use, Neem has continued to pique the interest of both traditional herbal enthusiasts and modern scientists alike. The ancient Ayurvedic medicinal system recognized its versatile healing capabilities, which modern research has continued to corroborate and elaborate upon. Below, we will embark on an exploration of the numerous health benefits of neem.

1. Anti-Cancer Properties

Neems prowess as a potential natural anti-cancer agent has received significant attention within the scientific community. Various studies, such as this one, have underscored its potent anticancer properties. Neem extracts have demonstrated the capacity to inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells, notably by inducing apoptosis the process of programmed cell death that prevents their uncontrolled proliferation. Beyond this, neem also enhances the immune systems ability to target and destroy cancer cells, making it an invaluable adjunctive therapy alongside conventional cancer treatments.

2. Anti-Inflammatory Properties

Chronic inflammation is a common denominator underlying numerous health conditions, from cardiovascular diseases and arthritis to diabetes. Neem exhibits remarkable anti-inflammatory properties that can alleviate symptoms and promote overall wellness. Active compounds in neem, like nimbin and nimbidin, inhibit pro-inflammatory enzymes and cytokines, thereby reducing inflammation and relieving discomfort. Integrating neem into your daily routine can offer a natural, effective way to manage inflammatory conditions.

Drink This Every Night to Detoxify The Liver "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

The liver plays a crucial role in eliminating toxins from our bodies, whether from food, drinks, medications, or our daily routines. If youre aiming to lose weight, a liver detox becomes even more important.

Did you know that certain foods can support a healthy liver? Take detox juices and propolis, for example. Toxins from alcohol, fried foods, and processed meals packed with additives and preservatives can overload the liver. So, if your goal is to detox, lose weight, or cleanse your liver, its best to avoid them.

Today, Ill share four fantastic liver-cleansing drinks that not only enhance your well-being but also assist in shedding those extra pounds.

But you might wonder, why do a nighttime detox? Does it really work?

Typically, detox processes are done in the morning, before breakfast. However, for these drinks, its recommended to have them at night. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the liver functions optimally between 1-3 AM. By consuming these nutrient-rich beverages before bed, you provide your liver with the essential nutrients it needs for deep cleansing. Moreover, detoxing reduces toxin load, boosts metabolism, and enhances fat burning.

Lets now explore these four drinks and find the one that suits your routine best:

Warm water with lemon: Squeeze the juice of one lemon into 7 ounces of warm water (not boiling). Drink it 30 minutes before bedtime for three consecutive weeks.

Chamomile tea: Boil 8.5 ounces of water, then add half a spoonful of chamomile flowers. Let it steep for 10 minutes, strain, and enjoy this soothing tea every night for two weeks.

Peppermint tea: Boil 8.5 ounces of water and add two tablespoons of peppermint leaves. Allow it to infuse for 10 minutes, then strain and savor it half an hour before bedtime. Repeat this ritual for three weeks.

Lemon and ginger tea: Take a 2-inch slice of ginger, one lemon, and 8.5 ounces of water. Boil the water, then add the ginger and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Let it steep for 10 minutes. Drink this incredible tea at least three times a week for 30 days.

Try out these drinks and discover the one that works wonders for you. Cheers to a revitalized liver, a healthier weight, and an improved quality of life!

Take care, my friend!

Orange Pilling Your Barber Or Stylist: A Short Cut To Hyperbitcoinization "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

This is an opinion editorial by Hector Alvero, a Bitcoin educator who serves as co-host of the Broward County Bitcoiners meetup and whose family has worked in the beauty industry for decades.

We all look for ways to educate others about Bitcoin and raise awareness about its benefits. However, time is scarce, so we can't talk to everyone. But what if you could multiply your efforts and help someone close to you benefit from Bitcoin in the process? If you're looking for an orange-pilling opportunity with the most asymmetric upside, consider talking about Bitcoin and the Lightning Network with your barber or stylist.

The Perfect Environment

Once you sit down in the chair and that cape goes around your neck, you know youre both going to be there for a while. As a Bitcoiner, that can only mean one thing: You have been given the gift of time to talk about Bitcoin.

Few routine interactions last as long as a haircut or salon appointment. Even fewer grant you the freedom to discuss any topic of your choosing. Additionally, the setting naturally limits distractions, such as phone usage. That makes the time you spend in your barber's or stylist's chair the perfect environment to talk about Bitcoin.

Source

A Trusted Relationship

How long have you been with your current barber or stylist? Relationships between clients and stylists often span years, if not decades. There is a bond between you that is rooted in trust, and this connection fosters a level of intimacy rarely found outside of familial settings. People often share secrets with their stylists and barbers that they wouldn't disclose to anyone else. Clairol's iconic ad campaign captured this sentiment with the tagline, "Only her hairdresser knows for sure."

Source

A Force Multiplier

Your barber or stylist likely has the broadest network of anyone you know. People from every walk of life, including business owners, accountants, teachers, firefighters and politicians, sit in their chairs, sometimes for hours. It is likely that no one else in your sphere of influence has the amount of time and trust to help others learn about and understand Bitcoin. The same unique factors that create the ideal environment for you to talk with them about Bitcoin are the exact reasons why they have th...

N-Acetyl Cysteine: NAC Supplement Powerful Antioxidant "IndyWatch Feed Fertility"

Research suggests that N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) the supplement form of the semi-essential amino acid L-cysteine  is an effective, safe and low-cost treatment option for a range of conditions, including those that are both acute and chronic.

What are the benefits of taking NAC? Not only has been it been used for three decades as an effective mucolytic agent (mucous-thinner), but it also has uses including reducing inflammation, protecting the liver, and preventing/treating drug toxicity, insulin resistance, infertility due to PCOS and more.

What Is NAC?

N-acetyl cysteine, the supplement form of cysteine, is an amino acid that helps the body create and use protective antioxidants.

While cysteine is found in many high-protein foods, NAC is only obtained from taking supplements or prescription drugs.

Because the human body can create some NAC from other amino acids, particularly l-methionine and l-serine, it is considered to be a semi-essential amino acid. That means there isnt a daily requirement of NAC that you must get from your diet, but getting higher amounts can benefit some people.

Benefits

1. Has Antioxidant Effects and Helps Form Glutathione

NAC is involved in the regulation of the glutamatergic system. In other words,...

Looking at the broader market, Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading at a critical level of $30,000, with bulls fiercely battling to defend this important psychological and technical support. While Bitcoin has experienced a slight gain of 0.3% in the past 24 hours, it has still recorded a notable weekly gain of 14.4%. Bitcoins dominance in the market has also increased, reaching 48% compared to 47.7% the previous day. This indicates that Bitcoin outperforms altcoins, further emphasizing its significance and influence within the market.

Ive always thought that working as a postal carrier would be a great job.

Moving around all the time, not sitting at a desk, seeing different parts of town, etc.

But according to a former U.S. Post Office worker who shared a video about his experiences on TikTok, the cons of the job definitely outweigh the pros.

Liberal Boomer Constantly Checking to Make Sure John Fogerty Not Suddenly Right Wing "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio Leftist senior citizen Cyrus Novak is reportedly under round-the-clock duress from continuously having to make sure John Fogerty is not somehow suddenly conservative, hand-wringing sources confirmed.

I cant lose another one. They got Clapton, they got Van Morrison, I mean, they even got freakin Meat Loaf. MEAT LOAF! The bat out of hell! My CD collection is down to a husk of what it once was. If I get CCR taken away from me, I think Ill just give up on rock altogether, said the left-leaning, but undeniably old Novak, while performatively trying not to curse. Ill have nothing left to get at Best Buy. Im constantly refreshing my iPad to make sure John hasnt said something sideways about vaccines or climate change. I know all too well that it could happen any minute. I cant give up the Fortunate Son, I just cant.

Public relations representatives for Fogerty report that hes as liberal as ever, and has no intention to change sides.

Believe us, we go to great lengths to ensure our older rockers dont succumb to the scourge of conservatism. Dedication to their rock and roll roots are, and always will be, a top priority. We dont want to disappoint all the dads out there, nor do we want to validate the uncles of the world, said Fogerty representative Phyllis Jacobi. Because, as we all know, uncles are the absolute worst. Weve arranged for Mr. Fogerty to join a support group for elderly liberal musicians to keep each other in check. You can count on us.

Support group captain and music legend Neil Young told us a bit more about the group.

We get together a few times a month, just to make sure we havent slipped down a QAnon hole. Springsteen usually brings along a crate of Yoo-Hoos, we sit around my giant model train set in camping chairs and just spitball ways the current administration could be doing more for, say, the LGBTQIA+ community for a few hours, said Young. Hey, it aint Woodstock, but its something Ive begun to look forward to. Next month were all hopping in Chers van and hucking crabapples at Ted Nugents ranch. Fogertys in good hands.

At press time, Novak decided to do away with the stress of classic rock altogether, and listen to more contemporary stuff, starting with this Morrissey fellow.

Plane Crash Survivor on Desert Island Shocked to Find His Five Favorite Albums Are There "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY SOMEWHERE IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN Plane crash survivor and avid music fan Chris Ackerman was pleasantly surprised to see his top five albums nestled in the remote palm tree grove where his Australia-bound Boeing 767 had exploded into flames, blood-spurting fellow passengers report.

Oh sweet, theyre all here! Ackerman confirmed, hopping across the sand on his severely wounded leg to flip through the top albums he had mentally picked out years ago. I always went back and forth on Nevermind vs. In Utero. I felt a little weird about the 20th anniversary deluxe edition. But all those demos and bonus tracks are going to be clutch here because my phone got incinerated, so I dont have Spotify or anything. Or food. Or a tourniquet. Or a record player, now that I think about it. Guess Im just supposed to just look at these album covers and imagine what they sound like.

Non-audiophile survivors on the island were confused by Ackermans ill-timed music discussion.

Were thousands of miles from civilization, we need water and medical care, and frankly were all going to die soon, said fellow passenger Kara Montevarchi. But this guy wont shut up about how The Clashs self-titled debut is superior to London Calling and how amazing that the years he spent deciding on his five desert island albums finally paid off. Did he get brain damage when the plane lost oxygen or something? Or is he just one of those insufferable music weirdos who will eventually die of dehydration one way or another? I need to go lie down.

Music anthropologist Warren De Witt explained that five desert island albums may oftentimes appear mysteriously when island-bound disaster strikes.

Its true. Weve seen it happen a few times now, De Witt said. You wind up on a desert island for whatever reason, and as long as you still have a heartbeat and ears and you picked out those five albums at some point, youll see them all there. Usually theyll be in the preferred audio format, too. Thats why its so important to keep your top five mentally updated. We found a case where someone hadnt thought about her desert island discs since middle school, and she wound up stuck with Smash Mouth and a few Now Thats What I Call Music CDs 15 years later after a sailing accident. Tragic. And then she died, too.

At press time, Ackerman had passed out from excitement and critical blood loss, prompting others to attempt to revive him by smacking him with a stack of liner notes.

All Dogs Go to Heaven: How To Exploit That Loophole by Impersonating a Dachshund at All Times "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Dogs arent just mans best friend: canines are the Almightys most favored species by a goddamn mile. Alone among all created beings, dogs have been assured that each member of their slobbery kind will enter the gates of Heaven, no questions asked. Pretty good deal for a group that already gets to sniff crotches in public, if you ask us!

But were not here to debate whether all dogs should go to Heaven or if some deserve to roast in the depths of Hell, eternally distant from the ecstasy of proximity to Gods presence. Instead, were here to give you tips on how to live as a dachshund, so when death calls you to reckon for the many grotesque sins you crave, youll be a shoo-in to humping angel legs in Heaven!

DO: Stay Low to the Ground, Always: This might be intuitive, but in order to convince God that youre actually a dog and that your life of disgusting hedonism should have no consequences, you have to get on all fours, all the time, like a short-legged little wiener dog. It might be difficult at first, but do you really want to rot in Hell, especially after that shit you pulled in Vegas?

DO: Purchase High-Quality Artificial Ears:
One of the most distinctive things about the dachshund breed is their floppy drop ears, which protect them from getting dirt and debris stuck in there. Acquiring a pair of high-quality ears (preferably made from actual fur) is a must, especially if you are always getting any number of bodily fluids in your ear canal. Because of weird sex stuff.

DONT: Accidentally Speak, Always Bark In German:
One thing you must never do is accidentally speak like the human full of sin that you actually are. Always bark with the distinct Teutonic tonality that we all expect from dachshunds. You will likely find it helpful to hook up with a German puppy play polycule to get used to this, especially if you want to pass through the Pearly Gates while also committing rampant tax fraud.

DO: If You See A Badger, Fuck It Up:
Dachshunds were originally bred to flush out badgers from their subterranean dens, hence their distinctive narrow body shape. In order to keep up the canine charade and escape eternal damnation for your wallowing in youre going to need to bite some badgers to death.

DO: Have Ridiculously Soulful, Pleading Eyes: Everyone knows dachshunds have those big ol sad eyes that make you want to give them anything, from a puppy treat to unquestioned admission to eternity in paradise! Make sure youve got some of those.

DONT: Make A Deal With Satan:
At a certain point, keeping up the lifestyle of a dachshund is going to be tough, but dont give in and make a quick deal with Satan Himself. It just doesnt ever work out. Stick with the dog thing.

Optimism (OP) Price Crafts A Bullish Cup, But Can It Sustain The Momentum? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Optimism, a layer-2 solution on the Ethereum blockchain, has gained traction with a TVL exceeding $1.22 billion.

  • The OP price is currently forming a bullish cup pattern, indicating a potential recovery.
  • Trading activity in the optimism crypto market has surged, suggesting an attempt by the OP price to rebound.

Optimism: A Quick Look

As a layer-2 blockchain solution, transactions are recorded on the Optimism blockchain and then stored on the Ethereum blockchain.

During the development of Optimisms Layer-2 solution, the focus has been on minimizing complexity. This approach aims to achieve efficient scalability on Ethereum.

Its compatibility with the Ethereum network, allows developers to deploy their decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts on the Optimism layer 2 infrastructure. By moving transactions off the Ethereum mainnet, OP aims to reduce transaction costs and alleviate network congestion, making transactions more affordable and efficient for users.

The project employs various security mechanisms, including fraud proofs and challenge periods, to ensure the integrity of transactions and prevent malicious activities within the layer 2 network.

Moving Averages And RSI Signals

Indicated by price predictions, there are signs that OP tokens price is attempting to recover. Optimism is currently forming a bullish cup pattern on the daily timeframe.

However, its worth noting that the OP token is currently trading below important moving averages, which could pose a challenge for buyers to overcome significant resistance levels.

To witness a bullish breakout in the Optimism price, a significant level of buyer support is needed.

Also, there has been a noticeable rise in social engagement related to the project.

In the last week, the OP token price has increased by 25.65% with a favorable increase in trading activity as buyers and sellers participate actively in the optimism crypto market. The 24-hour trading volume has seen a growth of 34.66%.

Technical Analysis Of Optimism Price

Currently, the OP price is trading below the 200 Exponential Moving Average (EMA), with the 50 EMA acting as immediate resistance.

Optimism chart

To observe a potential increase in the OP price, it is important for the Relative Strength Index (RSI) line to successfully surpass the resistance given by the median line.

The RSI value of OP token stands at 57.43 points and its line is finding support from the 14 Simple Moving Average (SMA) levels at approximately 36.51 points.

Meanwhile, the %K and %D lines in the stochastic RSI are indicating a potential negative cr...

Doctors Weirdest Patient Lies These Medical Professionals Are Recalling Some Of The Silliest Patient Lies Theyve Heard

There are a ton of tough aspects of working in healthcare. One of the upsides, I think, is that there can never be a lack of hilarious/appalling stories to be told after a shift in the emergency room.

These doctors, nurses, and other professionals probably think theyve heard it allbut then someone comes in and forces them to admit that maybe they never will.

And after we did so many changes with his medication in many different ways, its only natural to think that theres some problem with how hes tacking them, if he was doing it at all. However, one day, after noticing that he would always go to the bathroom before even reaching out to the receptionist, someone d...

Now for the real news: a federal judge overturned Arkansas ban on child sex changes, causing outrage from Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. U.S. District Judge James M. Moody dismantled the states legislation aimed to protect minors from irreversible procedures such as puberty-blocking hormones and sex change surgeries. Governor Sanders denounced the ruling as activism pushing a political agenda at the expense of childrens well-being. The decision raises concerns over long-term consequences of medical interventions on minors and seemingly supports a radical vision of America where shielding kids is inappropriate. By blocking the ban, Judge Moody sides with activists, jeopardizing Arkansas youth. Governor Sanders argues these treatments arent medically necessary and will appeal the decision, vowing to fight for childrens protection against ideological manipulation. Thats all Ive got. The Christian Duty To Produce Cultural Christianity "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The Christian Duty To Produce Cultural Christianity

By: Pastor Andrew Isker

One of the most commonly held ideas within conservative evangelicalism is that cultural Christianity is bad because it produces nominal Christians. Nearly everyone has heard this from evangelical pulpits at one time or another. The former head of the Southern Baptist Conventions Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, now a professional accuser of the brethren at Christianity Today, famously said, Mayberry leads to hell just as certainly as Gomorrah does.

There was a time when it seemed to make sense. When the entire world around you was clearly influenced by Christian moral teaching, and everyone knew that everyone else expected you to live more or less in this Christian-influenced way, there were many people who thought they were saved because they considered themselves good people because they lived within these moral bounds and not because they trusted in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation. This was a very real problem that pastors had to deal with as they sought to minister to their flocks.

But today we are seeing that bemoaning cultural Christianity when the Christian religion had cultural dominance in America is like a trust-fund brat complaining that the Michelin-starred restaurant does not have her favorite kind of caviar. If you only knew just how good you had it. We traded having our biggest pastoral problem be people living in a society that is so well-ordered they think they are going to heaven because of it for children being propagandized 24/7 into anal sex and genital mutilation. To think that cultural Christianity was ever a real problem was to have no historical perspective.

Cultural Christianity was never a problem, cultural Christianity was the fruit of generations of obedience. Put another way, cultural Christianity was a problem like a lifetime of extremely hard work producing massive wealth for your children and grandchildren to inherit is a problem. Is it possible that your children will grow up being born on third base thinking they hit a triple? Yes. That is always the danger of success. But to...

Putin Too Left Wing, Sky News Reports "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Vladimir Putin is losing his grip on power in Russia because he has become obsessed with woke virtue signaling, a panel of Sky News presenters has claimed.

This massive shift to the left weve seen in Russia over the past decade has left Putin vulnerable to internal attack, commentator Rowen Dean said. You look at Russia and its actions over the past few years and the one word that comes to mind is woke.

The panel agreed that there is literally no other possible explanation for why someone can lose power. Its all pretty obvious. Im certain hes held an LGBTIQ+ morning tea at the Kremlin in the past few months. Ive got it on good authority that he has his pronouns on his email signature. Why else would he be failing? Theres simply no other explanation, Dean said.

Sky commentator Peta Credlin said Putin needed to reconnect with traditional conservative values. He needs to stop with the lefty agenda and get back to right-of-centre government. Until he can put an end to the drag time story hour at the Kremlin, and connect with ordinary conservatives, he doesnt have any chance of holding things together.

The Importance of Omega-3 for Cell Membrane Functionality "IndyWatch Feed Health"

In this interview, Nils Hoem, Ph.D., a research scientist with Aker Biomarine, the largest krill oil company in the world takes a deep dive into omega-3s and the crucial role they play in the health and functionality of your cell membranes.

In my academic life, I spent the first 20 years as a researcher at the University of Oslo. I got my master's and doctorate from the University of Oslo in pharmacology, and was an associate professor there ... Fifteen years ago, I came ... to work for Aker Biomarine ... as the chief scientist, but I'm, by heart and mind, really, a pharmacologist, Hoem says.

The Importance of Membranes

As explained by Hoem, the cellular membrane is the universal surface onto which, and into which, the cellular machinery is assembled. Very little in the cell just floats around. It's a very complex structure and the integrity of membranes is absolutely vital for the function of the cell, he says.

The cell membrane also hosts response elements and almost all signaling, except for hormones. Almost all short path signaling begins in the membrane. Your mitochondria also have an inner and outer membrane, and the function of these are also crucial for health.

Membranes are lipid structures made of phospholipids and other constituents. Inside we find phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, two ampholytic phospholipids, meaning they have a polar end and nonpolar end.

The food you eat provides the raw material substrate that is then assembled into the mitochondrial and cellular membranes, which is why the type of fats you consume is so important.

Omega-6 Competes Against Omega-3

As explained by Hoem, there are two polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs) that are considered to be essential in conventional medicine. One of them is the omega-6 linoleic acid (LA), which is an 18-carbon molecule. Although the level of LA needed is likely significantly lower than suggested, it is a moot point as virtually consuming 10 times the suggestion. The other is omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which also has 18 carbons.

Your body cannot make these fats, so you must get them from your diet. That said, since LA is found in nearly every food, and you need very small amounts, its virtually impossible to become deficient in LA.

Others, such as the omega-3 EPA and DHA, which have 20 and 22 carbons respectively, can be synthesized in your body, provided you have enough available delta-6-desaturase, an enzyme responsible for their conversion.

The problem is that there's competitive inhibition for that enzyme, so when you have 10-fold (1,000%) more omega-6 in your system, then th...

How the Censorship Industry Works, and How We Can Stop It "IndyWatch Feed Health"

In this video, I interview Mike Benz, executive director for the Foundation for Freedom Online. Benz started off as a corporate lawyer representing tech and media companies before joining the Trump administration, where he worked as a speech writer for Dr. Ben Carson, the former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and President Trump.

He also advised on economic development policy. He then joined the State Department as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Communications and Information Technology. There, he ran the cyber desks at state, meaning all things having to do with the internet and foreign policy.

This is toward the end of 2020, which was a really fascinating time to witness the merger, in many respects, of big government and big tech companies themselves, he says. I had grown up, I think, like many Americans, with a belief that the First Amendment protected you against government censorship.

The terms of engagement that we had enjoyed from 1991, when the worldwide web rolled out, until 2016, the election in the U.S. and Brexit in the U.K., which is, really, the first political event where the election was determined, in many respects, by momentum on the internet.

There was that 25-year golden period where the idea of being censored by a private sector company, let alone the government, was considered something, to me, very deeply anathema to the American experience.

What I witnessed at the State Department because I was at the desk, basically, that Google and Facebook would call when they wanted favors abroad, when they wanted American protection or American policies to preserve their dominance in Europe, or in Asia or in Latin America.

And the U.S. government was doing favors for these tech companies while the tech companies were censoring the people who voted for the government. It was a complete betrayal of whatever social contract typically underlies the public-private partnership.

The Internet Was Founded by the National Security State

Ostensibly, the rapid expansion of censorship started post-2016, but you can make a strong argument that the internet was never intended to remain free forever. Rather, the intention for it to be used as a totalitarian tool was likely baked in from the start when the national security state founded it in 1968.

The worldwide web, which is the user interface, was launched in 1991, and my suspicion is that the public internet was seeded and allowed to grow in order to capture and make the most of the population dependent upon it, knowing that it would be...

Hallmarks of Alzheimer's Are Stimulated by This Substance "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Boyd Haley, Ph.D., is a chemist specializing in the development of chemicals to chelate toxic metals, both from the environment and the human body. I had the opportunity to interview Haley (above) at the 2018 Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine (ACIM) conference in Orlando.

Haleys Ph.D. is in chemistry and biochemistry. He conducted research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for 25 years at the University of Wyoming and at the University of Kentucky. Early in his career, he developed a biochemical detection system called nucleotide photoaffinity labeling and has published studies on its usage.1 Haley explains:

"I took ATP and made it radioactive, which isn't a big feat. But then I attached to that a molecule that would explode when it hit a photon of light. When it exploded, it made a very reactive intermediate that had a half-life of something like 10-12 or 10-13 seconds.

If ATP was bound to a protein, such as sodium potassium ATP [and] you hit it with light, it would form a covalent bond at the binding site of ATP on the enzyme it was interacting with

You could use these kinds of probes to see the difference between the ATP, guanosine diphosphate (GDP), cyclic adenosine monophosphate (AMP) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) all these binding proteins, to see how the energetics of the cell was changing."

Haley's Alzheimer's Research

He later took a position with the Alzheimer's Center, a research center for Alzheimer's disease, where he collaborated with a former graduate student of his. The NIH funded their research for five years, which used Haley's technology to assess the differences of ATP, GDP and cyclic AMP binding proteins in normal brains versus those with Alzheimer's disease.

"There were dramatic differences," he says. For example, the enzyme creatine kinase, which is a fundamental enzyme, is 98% inhibited in Alzheimer's patients. They also discovered that tubulin a major brain protein that holds an axon in its extended form and controls the growth direction of axons and dendrites is inhibited by more than 80%.

In 1989, he published the paper2 "Aberrant Guanosine Triphosphate-Beta-Tubulin interaction in Alzheimer's disease" in the Annals of Neurology, stating that "These results support the hypothesis that microtubule formation is abnormal in brains affected by Alzheimer's disease."

People have gone to great lengths in the name of clicks and views on social media, but faking ones own demise and then showing up at your own funeral?

Thats a whole other level of crazy.

TikToker David Baerten (aka Ragnar le Fou) says the scheme wasnt for clicks, but because he wanted to teach his family a life lesson about the importance of staying in touch.

Survey Says "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Survey Says NoBy Cathy Jameson

I love our quieter summer schedule.  The alarm clock isnt screaming at us to wake up early.  The kids arent rushing here and there.  And Im able to sit still a bit longer to catch up on some things Ive had to put on hold.  With the extra quiet time, Ive started to sift through my email to get rid of old messages.  Every few days, I get rid of promotions that have expired and also delete school notices that are now irrelevant.  In sitting down late last week to get sort through a handful of older messages, I saw that I had a new one.  I made sure not to delete it:

Dear Cathy,

Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, Childrens Health Defense (CHD) experienced considerable growth in its membership, as people sought information about vaccine efficacy and safety, and community support in the face of restrictive government and workplace policies such as vaccine mandates. To our knowledge, little research has been done on the experiences and consequences of these policies for overall wellbeing, especially for people who declined vaccination.

If you subscribe to CHD, you probably saw that announcement, too.  Coupled with it is the chance to take a survey to better understand our subscribers experiences with vaccine mandates since the beginning of the pandemic. The survey will take about 510 minutes to complete.

I have friends who knew to be skeptical of what our government was saying and doing early on during the pandemic.  Some had never been vocal about vaccines.  Now, they are being more than vocal.  Theyre saying never again.

Never again will they be duped or talked into taking something so risky.

Never will they risk their job, their health, or their freedom.

Never.

Early on, when people would ask me where they could look for information about what was going on, I made sure to share the CHD webpage.  Look here for some helpful resources.  Check out what this group is working on.  Read up on who the talking...

Im kinda disgusted with humanity right now. Everytime a there is a publicized death of rich white people, swaths of yall turn into vapid demons. Celebrating the deaths of 5 people just because they were billionaires is shitty and you should repent. Go touch grass and find joy in your life instead of gleefully posting about the downfall of someone just because they have money youll never touch in your life. Stop acting like youre entitled to other peoples shit and have some humanity for 5 people that just died for gods sake.

Luke 13:15 (EHV)

At that time there were some present who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2He answered them, Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered these things? 3I tell you, no. But unless you repent, you will all perish too. 4Or those eighteen who were killed when the tower in Siloam fell on themdo you think that they were worse sinners than all the people living in Jerusalem? 5I tell you, no. How to Take Down the US Through Open Borders "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Image result for Texas southern border map

Recently startling revelations have been uncovered thanks to Mike Adams and Michael Yon, a former elite soldier now a combat journalist who has been reporting on the twisted agenda by the Biden White House threatening America! There is a huge industry created by the treasonous neglect by the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies who have abandoned defense of the US southern border. Billions has spent on paying so called non-profit refugee assistance organizations who build housing, provide medical help, and food for these unvetted and undocumented illegal aliens. The myth of so many helpless women and children is a fantasy created by the Democrats and the mainstream media to make the massive influx of illegal alien enlistment aged men seem less threatening.

The unthinkable unleashed

The truth is there is no incentive to enforce the protection of the US border as so many people are profiting from allowing this undeclared invasion to continue. There are US retailers now flooding their employee ranks with illegal woman, children, and teenagers as low pay scale workers. By all known facts the Biden Administration is planning on allowing 40 thousand illegals into our nation each month. However, there is something more sinister brewing. There are huge camps being supplied and maintained in Panama. Along the Darian Gap cutting through the mountainous jungles of Panama are a string of large camps where enlistment aged men are being held and prepared for relocation in the United States. According to Michael Yon not only is Communist China involved is this development but they are sending 100 to 200 spies across the US border each month. China had been discovered operating a secret base in Cuba with plans for more joint military exercises with Cuba.

Using our forces to aid and abet the enemy?

According to Michael Yon who made contact with a female US Army General our own military is air lifting supplies to these large para military encampments in Panama. How could American personnel participate in operations that violate US sovereignty and national security? Is this not treason? The nightmare continues. Near the city of Houston, Texas a 25 thousand acre tract of land has been reserved as a colony of illegal immigrants-the Panama encampment males who are awaiting mobilization....

Momentum: Why The Bitcoin Train Is Ready To Leave The Station "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The latest Bitcoin price action has pushed momentum into the positive on just about every timeframe that matters: From today the daily through the monthly.

If these signals confirm with a June monthly close, the train might have officially left the station when it comes to the next crypto bull run.

BTCUSD Momentum Builds Across Multiple Timeframes

Imagine a train thats come to a complete stop. Its a lot easier to board a train as its idle, and before it has gained momentum. Momentum starts off slow, then once the train really begins rolling it picks up seemingly unstoppable steam. Slowing back down takes force, time, and distance before it once again comes to a stop. Getting in the trains path can prove dangerous.

If Bitcoin price can continue to climb through the end of June, strengthening bullish momentum will confirm across nearly every significant timeframe from the daily to the weekly to the monthly.

That is according to the LMACD, which in the chart below shows the following timeframes forming a bullish crossover and buy signal: 1D, 3D, 1W, 2W, 3W, and 1M (clockwise). Such a signal could mean the train has left the station.

Bitcoin news momentum

Are The Stars Aligning For A Bitcoin Bull Run?

Much like when stars align, people expect something special, the majority of important timeframes signaling strengthening momentum could mean like a locomotive, Bitcoin is starting to gain steam.

And once that begins, and the train leaves the station, it isnt quite as easy to get on for a ride. However, it isnt fully clear if yet if that phase has begun, or if the train has a few more stops before it moves onto its final destination.

In contrast, the weekly LMACD crossover could fail and cause the monthly crossover to follow and diverge downward. At that point, things could get dicey for crypto and put lower timeframe bullish crossovers in serious jeopardy. Anyone abo...

The Ins and Outs of Solar Water Heaters "IndyWatch Feed Diy"

Solar water heaters vary in design, efficiency, capacity and price, but they all replace a good chunk of the gas or electricity used to heat water with clean, free sunlight. The three basic designs all have a way to collect heat, a tank to store hot water, backup heating for when your system cant keep up and a circulation system.

Batch collector water heaters heat water in tubes or pipes, usually painted black to collect more of the suns heat. Cold water can be mixed in periodically to keep water from getting too hot. These heaters are best suited for warmer climates. Where freezing might be an issue, theyll need to be drained during cold months to avoid damage to the system.

Flat-plate collectors rely on a metal plate, often painted black, to soak up the suns heat. Heat travels from the plate to water-filled tubes. The water cycles through heating tubes to and from the storage tank, keeping the stored water hot.

Evacuated tube collectors are the most efficient models out there. Water is heated in a tube thats surrounded by a larger, vacuum-sealed glass tube. Very little heat is lost because theres no air between the heating liquid and the outside world.

Solar water heaters can heat water directly or indirectly. In indirect heaters, the...

NHS Whistleblower Claims We Were Ordered To Euthanize Patients "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

A National Health Service whistleblower claims that healthcare workers in the United Kingdom were ordered to euthanize patients and call them COVID deaths to promote the narrative of a deadly virus. This was all happening as hospitals were empty and no one was sick or dying of anything out of the ordinary.

The whistleblower also confirmed that the little care given throughout the scamdemic amounted to negligence and that the government and NHS bosses essentially instructed staff to let people die, or in some cases kill them through the End of Life Care program and falsely label the deaths as being due to COVID-19.
