Governments shut down the internet more often than ever, report says "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

More countries shut down the internet in 2022 than ever before, according to a new report by digital rights researchers. Authorities in 35 countries instituted internet shutdowns at least 187 times, according to the New York-based digital rights watchdog Access Now. Nearly half of these shutdowns occurred in India, and if that nation is excluded, 2022 saw the most number of shutdowns globally since the group began monitoring disruptions in 2016. [The] report ... spans complete blackouts, suspensions of specific phone networks or social media apps, and the slowing down of internet speeds. Triggers for shutdowns have included large protests, conflict situations, elections and even examinations. Whatever the situation, they make it substantially more difficult for people to communicate and receive or send news, and they incur significant economic costs, which prompted the United Nations last year to call for governments to avoid using such a blunt tactic. "This can be a big warning sign of how the human rights situation is deteriorating, and shutdowns are often associated with increased levels of insecurity and other restrictions," said Liz Throssell, a spokeswoman at the U.N. Human Rights Office. A majority of [India's] 84 disruptions were logged in Indian-administered Kashmir, part of a disputed region in the Himalayas. India has at times cited a desire to control social unrest in the territory, where there is a separatist movement. The Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and mass civilian protests in Iran also led to internet shutdowns

U.S. regulators rejected Elon Musk's bid to test brain chips in humans, citing safety risks "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

On at least four occasions since 2019, Elon Musk has predicted that his medical device company, Neuralink, would soon start human trials of a revolutionary brain implant to treat intractable conditions such as paralysis and blindness. Yet the company, founded in 2016, didn't seek permission from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) until early 2022 and the agency rejected the application. Musk has detailed a bold vision for Neuralink: Both disabled and healthy people will pop into neighborhood facilities for speedy surgical insertions of devices with functions ranging from curing obesity, autism, depression or schizophrenia to web-surfing and telepathy. Musk also has said Neuralink would restore full mobility to paralyzed patients. Reuters exclusively reported late last year that the federal government was investigating the company's treatment of its research animals. The probe was launched amid growing employee concern that the company is rushing experiments, causing additional suffering and deaths of pigs, sheep and monkeys. Musk's company ... trails at least one direct rival in the race for FDA approval. Synchron, a competitor making a BCI implant, has won the agency's blessing for human trials. The company first tested its device on four patients in Australia who successfully sent text messages with their minds. Synchron recently raised $75 million, including from funds backed by tech billionaires Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.

'Aims': the software for hire that can control 30,000 fake online profiles "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Advanced Impact Media Solutions, or Aims, which controls more than 30,000 fake social media profiles, can be used to spread disinformation at scale and at speed. It is sold by "Team Jorge", a unit of disinformation operatives based in Israel. Tal Hanan, who runs the covert group using the pseudonym "Jorge", told undercover reporters that they sold access to their software to unnamed intelligence agencies, political parties and corporate clients. Team Jorge's Aims software ... is much more than a bot-controlling programme. Each avatar ... is given a multifaceted digital backstory. Aims enables the creation of accounts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Gmail, Instagram and YouTube. Some even have Amazon accounts with credit cards, bitcoin wallets and Airbnb accounts. Hanan told the undercover reporters his avatars mimicked human behaviour and their posts were powered by artificial intelligence. [Our reporters] were able to identify a much wider network of 2,000 Aims-linked bots on Facebook and Twitter. We then traced their activity across the internet, identifying their involvement ... in about 20 countries including the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Panama, Senegal, Mexico, Morocco, India, the United Arab Emirates, Zimbabwe, Belarus and Ecuador. The analysis revealed a vast array of bot activity, with Aims' fake social media profiles getting involved in a dispute in California over nuclear power; a #MeToo controversy in Canada ... and an election in Senegal.

FBI, Pentagon helped research facial recognition for street cameras, drones "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The FBI and the Defense Department were actively involved in research and development of facial recognition software that they hoped could be used to identify people from video footage captured by street cameras and flying drones, according to thousands of pages of internal documents that provide new details about the government's ambitions to build out a powerful tool for advanced surveillance. The documents, revealed in response to an ongoing Freedom of Information Act lawsuit the American Civil Liberties Union filed against the FBI, show how closely FBI and Defense officials worked with academic researchers to refine artificial-intelligence techniques that could help in the identification or tracking of Americans without their awareness or consent. Many of the records relate to the Janus program, a project funded by the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency, or IARPA. The improved facial recognition system was ultimately folded into a search tool, called Horus, and made available to the Pentagon's Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office, which helps provide military technologies to civilian police forces. No federal laws regulate how facial recognition systems can be used. The tool's use in domestic mass surveillance would be a "nightmare scenario," said Nathan Wessler, a deputy director at the ACLU. "It could give the government the ability to pervasively track as many people as they want for as long as they want. There's no good outcome for that in a democratic society."

C.I.A. Is Collecting in Bulk Certain Data Affecting Americans, Senators Warn "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The Central Intelligence Agency has for years been collecting in bulk, without a warrant, some kind of data that can affect Americans' privacy. At the same time, [the C.I.A.] declared that a report about the same topic, which had prompted the letter, must remain fully classified. That report, called "Deep Dive II," was part of a set of studies by a watchdog board scrutinizing intelligence community operations under Executive Order 12333. In March 2021, the Senate Intelligence Committee received a copy of the report. Two Democrats on the panel, Senators Ron Wyden of Oregon and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, urged Avril D. Haines, the director of national intelligence, and William J. Burns, the C.I.A. director, to declassify the activity. The senators suggested that its hidden existence cut against Americans' understanding that various pieces of legislation enacted in recent years "limit and, in some cases, prohibit the warrantless collection of Americans' records." In 2015, Congress banned bulk collection of telecommunications metadata under the Patriot Act and limited other types of bulk collection by the F.B.I. under laws governing domestic activities like the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA. Yet "the C.I.A. has secretly conducted its own bulk program" under Executive Order 12333, the senators wrote. "It has done so entirely outside the statutory framework that Congress and the public believe govern this collection, and without any of the judicial, congressional or even executive branch oversight."

The U.S. Set Up the Afghan Army to Fail "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

When the Afghan military and government collapsed in the summer of 2021, it was the worst failure of the U.S. defense establishment since the fall of Saigon. A new report by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, or SIGAR, issued this week sheds critical light on what went so terribly wrong in America's longest war and how tens of thousands of ordinary Afghans were set up by their leaders and foreign partners to fight and die for a doomed cause. The American mission in Afghanistan had been to build an army that could stand on its own feet to resist the Taliban. In the end, however, the Afghan military was not only riddled with corruption, but also designed to function properly only so long as the foreign contractors and soldiers remained around to manage it. In effect, similar to its disastrous experience in South Vietnam, the United States had attempted to build an army suitable for a modern, industrialized country like itself, rather than one that would fit the realities of a poor and agrarian state. "The types of security forces that we were trying to build, which were relatively sophisticated and relied on advanced technology and electronics logistics systems, were just not within the general capacity of what Afghanistan would be able to use in sustainable ways," said Jonathan Schroden, an Afghanistan expert at the Center for Naval Analyses. "The real damning thing about what is in the report is that people had been telling the U.S. military this for years."

Hawkish Israel Is Pulling U.S. Into War With Iran "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Last week, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides appeared to endorse a plan for Israel to attack Iranian nuclear facilities with U.S. support. Nides's words come after recent high-level military drills between Israel and the United States intended to showcase the ability to strike Iranian targets, as well as recent acts of sabotage and assassination inside Iran believed to have been carried out by both countries. The Israeli escalations mean that the U.S. now faces the unsavory prospect of a major crisis flaring up in the Middle East at the exact moment when its bandwidth is already stretched thin because of a major war in Europe and its deteriorating relationship with China. "The decision to leave the JCPOA ... allowed Iran to restart its nuclear program and raise once again the question of what the U.S., Israel, or anyone else might do about it," said Stephen Walt ... at the Harvard Kennedy School, referring to the nuclear deal by the initials of its former name, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The nuclear deal was intended to avoid the Middle East confrontation now visible on the horizon. Signed by President Barack Obama in 2015, the deal traded strict limits on Iran's nuclear program in exchange for its reintegration into the global economy. When President Donald Trump violated the deal ... this pragmatic arrangement went out the window not only removing limits on Iran's nuclear program, but also politically empowering hard-liners inside Iran who had balked at negotiating in the first place.

Biden's Chip War With China Is an Imperial Struggle for High-Tech Supremacy "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The rivalry between the U.S. and China has hit fever pitch. Despite their deep economic integration and record trade in goods of $690 billion in 2022, the two powers are at loggerheads over everything from military supremacy in the Indo-Pacific to Russia's imperialist invasion of Ukraine, to trade and investment in the Global South. The U.S., of course, remains the world's dominant imperialist power, but now China poses a threat to its hegemony. At the center of this conflict are microchips, which are as important to global capitalism today as oil. Washington put its high-tech weaponry on full display in the 1991 Gulf War. Triumphant, Washington adopted a new imperial strategy of superintending the world economy by incorporating states into a neoliberal world order of free trade globalization. The U.S. used the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Trade Organization and UN to enforce this order. The U.S. retained its lead in the design of chips, but increasingly fabrication was done by [Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company] in Taiwan. The Trump administration ... targeted Beijing's tech industry. Using national security as justification, the Commerce Department prohibited U.S. companies from selling chips, hardware and software to the company. The Biden administration doubled down on Trump's strategy of great power rivalry. [Author Chris] Miller argues, "Taiwan isn't simply the source of the advanced chips that both countries' militaries are betting on. It's also the most likely battleground."

The Forgotten Terrorist Pretext of the Vietnam War "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Antiterrorist moral fervor and ideological blinders propelled the U.S. into its biggest foreign policy blunder since World War Two. The U.S. government constantly embellished the storyline to demonize the communist opposition. A CIA operative provided materials for a massive bomb that ripped through a main square in Saigon in 1952. A Life magazine photographer was waiting on the scene, and his resulting snap appeared with a caption blaming the carnage on Viet Minh Communists. The Kennedy administration sought credibility by profoundly deceiving the American people and Congress regarding its Vietnam policy. In August 1963, South Vietnamese Special Forces "carried out midnight raids against Buddhist pagodas throughout the country. More than 1400 people, mostly monks were arrested and many of them were beaten," according to the Pentagon Papers. The CIA was bankrolling these Special Forces, which were supposed to be used for covert operations against the Viet Cong or North Vietnam, not for religious repression. The Johnson administration exploited the terrorist label to sway Americans to support greater U.S. Involvement in Vietnam. In a special message to Congress on May 18, 1964 seeking additional fund for Vietnam, LBJ declared, "the Viet Cong guerrillas, under orders from their Communist masters in the North, have intensified terrorist actions against the peaceful people of South Vietnam. This increased terrorism requires increased response."

How a Movement That Never Killed Anyone Became the FBI's No. 1 Domestic Terrorism Threat "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Who the Justice Department decides to prosecute as a domestic terrorist has little to do with the harm they've inflicted or the threat they pose to human life. Police and FBI agents ... arrested a dozen of [activist Joe] Dibee's associates in the Animal Liberation Front and Earth Liberation Front. They were charged with conspiring to burn down factories that slaughtered animals for meat, timber mills that disrupted sensitive ecosystems, government facilities that penned wild horses, and a ski resort. While the arsons, which never hurt or killed anyone, largely took place in the late 1990s, the wave of arrests known as the "Green Scare" came in the post-9/11 era, when terrorism was the FBI's prevailing obsession. The fur and biomedical industries had spent years lobbying the Justice Department and lawmakers to go after eco-activists. When the planes hit the twin towers, industry groups seized on the opportunity to push legislation, and federal law enforcement ramped up pursuit of radical activists in the name of counterterrorism. Of 70 federal prosecutions of radical environmentalists and animal rights activists identified by The Intercept, 52 did not result in charges under anti-terrorism laws. Yet the defendants were repeatedly called terrorists by the Justice Department. The Patriot Act's broad new definition of domestic terrorism, signed into law in October 2001, was another step toward institutionalizing the notion that eco-saboteurs were terrorists.

If we can farm metal from plants, what else can we learn from life on Earth? "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

For the past couple of years, I've been working with researchers in northern Greece who are farming metal. They are experimenting with a trio of shrubs known to scientists as "hyperaccumulators": plants which have evolved the capacity to thrive in naturally metal-rich soils that are toxic to most other kinds of life. They do this by drawing the metal out of the ground and storing it in their leaves and stems, where it can be harvested like any other crop. As well as providing a source for rare metals in this case nickel, although hyperaccumulators have been found for zinc, aluminium, cadmium and many other metals, including gold these plants actively benefit the earth by remediating the soil, making it suitable for growing other crops, and by sequestering carbon in their roots. Hyperaccumulators are far from being the only non-humans that we might learn from. Physarum polycephalum, a particularly lively slime mould, can solve the "travelling salesman" problem a test for finding the shortest route between multiple cities faster and more efficiently than any supercomputer humans have devised. Spiders store information in their webs, using them as a kind of extended cognition: a mind outside the body entirely. A new conception of intelligence is emerging from scientific research: rather than human intelligence being unique or the peak of some graduated curve, there appear to be many different kinds of intelligence with their own strengths, competencies and suitabilities.

Note: This was written by James Bridle, an artist and technologist who was able to paralyze a self-driving car using salt and road markers. For more on his work, check out his fascinating perspective on how artificial intelligence technologies could be designed based on cooperation and relationships naturally reflected in living systems, as opposed to competition and domination.

Rats with backpacks could help rescue earthquake survivors "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes can level entire towns, and for the search and rescue teams trying to find survivors, it's a painstaking task. But an unlikely savior is being trained up to help out: rats. The project, conceived of by Belgian non-profit APOPO, is kitting out rodents with tiny, high-tech backpacks to help first responders search for survivors among rubble in disaster zones. "Rats are typically quite curious and like to explore and that is key for search and rescue," says Donna Kean, a behavioral research scientist and leader of the project. In addition to their adventurous spirit, their small size and excellent sense of smell make rats perfect for locating things in tight spaces, says Kean. The rats are currently being trained to find survivors in a simulated disaster zone. They must first locate the target person in an empty room, pull a switch on their vest that triggers a beeper, and then return to base, where they are rewarded with a treat. While the rodents are still in the early stages of training, APOPO is collaborating with the Eindhoven University of Technology to develop a backpack, which is equipped with a video camera, two-way microphone, and location transmitter to help first responders communicate with survivors. APOPO has been training dogs and rats at its base in Tanzania in the scent detection of landmines and tuberculosis for over a decade. Its programs use African Giant Pouched Rats, which have a longer lifespan in captivity of around eight years.

Mobilising Assam's 'hargila army': how 10,000 women saved India's rarest stork "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Some of the women are wearing papier-mache headdresses shaped like long-necked birds. As they sing, one of them gets to her feet and starts dancing. They are part of the "hargila army", a group of rural women in the Indian state of Assam who work to protect one of the world's rarest storks: the greater adjutant (Leptoptilos dubius) or hargila (meaning "bone swallower" in Assamese) as the scavenger bird is known locally. They are celebrating the recent UN Environment Programme's Champions of the Earth award, conferred on the group's biologist founder, Dr Purnima Devi Barman. Barman won the award for her achievement in mobilising more than 10,000 women to help save the stork. "They are the protectors of the birds and of their nesting trees," says Barman. The birds were not just reviled, they were seen as a bad omen and carriers of disease. Villagers attacked them with stones, cut down trees where they roosted communally and burned their nests. Today the greater adjutant is endangered, with fewer than 1,200 adult birds in its last strongholds. Most of the global population is found in Assam, making Barman and the hargila army's work critical to its survival. Today, the once-maligned bird is now a cultural symbol, appearing on everything from towels to road-safety campaigns. In the villages of Dadara, Pacharia and Singimari (all in Kamrup district), greater adjutants' nests have increased from 28 in 2010 to more than 250 according to Barman's last count, making the area the world's largest breeding colony.

Close Encounters with the Tall White Aliens of Orion "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

From openhandweb.org: Day by day tremendous shifts and unwindings are happening in the field that will beneficially affect sentient life on the planet as we climax into the Shift. What needs to be hoisted on board, is the diverse and complex interdimensional intervention that's been going on here that has locked life in a control system. It's from the field itself that this is happening and the Tall Whites of Orion are a leading layer of the intervention. I can report they are now being confronted and helped to realign.

Intervention: Why Can't You See it?

The challenge for human life on the planet is to come to the realisation that there are purposeful, alien influences projecting into the psyche and emotions to marshall people in a particular direction, a particular agenda. The ETs are not "out there". Too many are looking in the wrong direction. They are very much "in here" - meaning they've gotten into the human field through purposeful DNA manipulation that goes right back to the inception of hybridised Homo Sapiens during the epoch we can call, Atlantis. If it's so prevalent and systematic, why can't you see it?
The intervention is complex and multifaceted. It's highly sophisticated and "clever". It recognises the many desires and directives of human consciousness, including that of the soul, and it's learned how to channel them in particular ways - to condition them. You think you're free. You think you're making your own sovereign choices, but so few truly are. It's not until you go deep within, confront and pull apart the impulses that make you take a certain direction and pathway, that you get a sense of these alien influences.
How do you know if it's happening to you, and what's the antedote? Although the situation is complex, actually the solution is straightforward. It's not necessarily easy, but it is straightforwar...

How to Deal With Toxic Change In CoinJoins "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Wasabi Wallets WabiSabi protocol is designed to eliminate change outputs from CoinJoins, better protecting Bitcoin users privacy.

This is an opinion editorial by Thibaud Marchal, a contributor to privacy-focused Bitcoin wallet project Wasabi Wallet.

Much ink has been spilled on the privacy horrors of change outputs for Bitcoin. It is now widely understood that Bitcoin is a pseudonymous network, where all users are identified by the addresses they use. When making a bitcoin transaction, instead of only sending the exact amount that is needed like in traditional, account-based payment systems you send all the sats from the original address into new ones. This creates a change output, which is the amount you get back when making a payment.

Such a change output is quite bad for privacy, as most users underestimate, or sometimes completely ignore, how easy it makes it for someone to track all related payments.

Let's examine why the change output is often referred to as "toxic" and bad for privacy.

Privacy Concerns For Change Outputs

Source

In the above picture, we can see that everything from the address on the left got moved into two addresses on the right, while a third, small part was spent as a Bitcoin network transaction fee.

Outsiders don't necessarily know at this point which output was the payment and which one went back to the sender as change. Only the sender and the receiver know without a doubt which one is which. However, the receiver can now track the change output, and see where the payment comes from. As pointed out by many Bitcoin privacy researchers, a change output is a privacy nightmare that can undo many years of diligent UTXO management.

CoinJoins To The Rescue?

There is a type of collaborative bitcoin transaction that enables you to group up your UTXOs with other peoples coins to gain privacy, without ever losing custody of them, called a CoinJoin. Sometimes, hundreds of participants join their coins together, making it hard to track the flows of funds, including change outputs in some cases.

CoinJoin includes multiple inputs and outputs from many different users, making it hard...

Biden Administration Prevents Worlds Top Tennis Player from Entering Country Because He Refuses to Take COVID Vaccine "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

I thought Biden announced the end of Covid? From thegatewaypuncit.com: The Biden administration has refused tennis great Novak Djokovic, the worlds number one tennis player, entry into the United States because he refuses to take the COVID-19 vaccine.  Most people thought that the insane mandates related to the COVID vaccine were over, but this apparently isnt the case. FOX News reports:

Novak Djokovic will not participate in the BNP Paribas Open this month after the Biden administration denied his entry to the United States, due to him being unvaccinated against COVID-19.

Djokovic, 35, requested a vaccine waiver, which would have allowed him to enter the U.S. unvaccinated, but it was rejected by the Homeland Security Department.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion subsequently withdrew from the combined ATP-WTA event, which begins Wednesday at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California.
The event includes matches in both California and Miami, Florida. It runs through March 19.
The communist-like tactics pushed by the Biden regime, forcing people to do or take things that they do not want, are still in effect. Despite mounting evidence that the vaccines may make individuals more...

14 Bilinguals Reveal Something Only They Know "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Its pretty common around the world to speak two, three, four (or more) languages fairly fluently. Its less so in the United States, so there are probably more than a few mysteries about what its like living with more than one vocabulary in your head.

If youre curious what its like, these 14 people who speak more than one language are revealing a little bit of what they experience every day.

14. The precise expression.

When you want to say something you have the precise expression for in another language than the one youre just speaking in.

13. The pinnacle.

When some word only comes to mind in another language, and you just cant remember what that word is in your native tongue.

I heard about Dutch ppl not being able to remember a word in Dutch but being able to think of it in German and then getting super frustrated, only to realize that its the same word in Dutch, which I think is the pinnacle of this phenomenon. I am bilingual but in two very unrelated languages, so I dont have this issue.

12. Quite fun.

How much fun it is.

So I speak Dutch as a native language. My English is really good, my German is normal and I also speak a bit of Swiss German ( believe me thats a big difference). So a friend of mine is from Switzerland. She also speaks all those languages. ( and even more)

When we are talking I ask something in Dutch she answers in English and I reply in German. When we have a couple of beers the language can change mid sentence.

We already had a couple of times people asking which language we were speaking. So yeah thats quite fun

11. A brain meltdown...

An Architect Breaks Down the Design of New York City Subway Stations, from the Oldest to Newest "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

With 26 lines and 472 stations, the New York City subway system is practically a living organism, and way too big a topic to tackle in a short video.

Architect Michael Wyetzner may not have time to touch on rats, crime track fires, flooding, night and weekend service disruptions, or the adults-in-a-Peanuts-special sound quality of the announcements in the above episode of Architectural Digests Blueprints web series, but he gives an excellent overview of its evolving design, from the stations themselves to sidewalk entrances to the platform signage.

First stop, the old City Hall station, whose chandeliers, skylights, and Guastavino tile arching in an alternating colors herringbone pattern made it the star attraction of the just-opened system in 1904.

Theyve Been Accused of Cheating to Get a Promotion. Did They Do Anything Wrong? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

There tend to be hurt feelings when one person gets a promotion over someone elseits just the way it goes.

But to be accused of cheating by a co-worker is a different story entirely.

So did this person act like an a**hole for how they ended up getting promoted?

Lets see whats going on here

AITA for cheating to get a promotion?

I put the cheating in quotes because I dont think its cheating but my colleagues disagree. Im in my 30s and everyone involved are between 30-50.

About 6 months ago, our unit VP announced his retirement by the end of the year so the company went into search mode. We recently found out our manager will be promoted into the VP position so now his position needs to be filled. Which brings us to my current situation.

Im single with no kids so I have no other responsibilities except to myself. I really want this position because its a visible position and a great stepping stone to my career (as seen by my managers promotion) and itll almost double my pay. Once we found out about our managers promotion, I started to take on extra projects and taking work home.

I leave work at my normal hours then work from home until 9 or 10 pm, even on the weekends. All of those extra hours have allowed me to take on harder projects that other people turned down and complete more than anyone else. My manager and the VP have noticed and complimented me on my hustle.

My colleagues also noticed my increased production. Last week a work friend asked me how Im able to do all of those projects in 8 hrs and I told her about my nights and weekends.

Word got around and this week during our weekly conference call, my colleagues told me to cut it out. They accused me of cheating because Im putting in the amount of hours they...

14 People Who Dont Share A Room With Their Partner Talk About Why "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Theres no right way to make a relationship work. Whatever keeps people happy and together works, right and for some couples, that means having your own space to sleep.

If youre curious about why people make this choice (and why its great), here are 14 couples living the separate bedroom life.

14. An awesome way to live.

I dont understand why this would be weird, honestly.

The whole king and queen chambers things sounds like an awesome way to live.

Also so does living in a castle, but I realize thats not actually a good idea in most cases.

13. Its about teamwork.

A marriage doesnt mean you own the other and have to stick 24 hours. Its team work. For both people. And the respect they have for each other.

12. If you can afford it

I heard we only used to sleep together bc beds were so expensive. My partner and I work opposite hours and I would wake up very early to workout. It made more sense and was courteous to sleep in separate rooms.

It was hard @first bc our culture paints a clear picture of how we should be living. Im so glad I see through that BS now. Do what is best for you in your relationship. Thats what matters. Be kind and give others grace.

11. There are real benefits.

I had abdominal surgery in the spring, one night i woke up to an elbow right in the gut where my fresh incision was when my husband rolled. After that he slept in the spare room til I was healed.

It was amazing to have the bed to myself for almost 2 months, I woke up starfishing every morning lol. So to those couples who live like that all the ti...

Nikkis Weekly Tarot Reading: March 13-19, 2023 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The cards pictured are from Uusis Pagan Otherworlds deck.

The Fool and Seven of Cups

Our cards this week share some tough love and present an opportunity to make some positive shifts. These shifts will allow fresh energy to enter our world as we navigate the last week of the Pisces season, the start of the astrological new year, and the Equinox on the horizon.

Lets start with the Seven of Cups. When this card shows up we know we are under her spell. We listen to the part of ourselves that just wants a quick fix. She softly whispers in our ear: just take the easy road. We feel drawn into a cycle of instant gratification and we lose our way.

We are faced with temptation in many areas of our life. We might feel cloudy and disconnected from our moral compass. We could not be thinking clearly due to a possible addiction or problematic pattern. And the Seven of Cups is pointing to some less-than-healthy behaviors that might be taking up space in our lives.

Whether its a relationship based purely on pleasure and not connected to our hearts, a job that pays the bills but does not fulfill us, or even the glasses of wine and endless scrolling that soothe our brain after a long day but dont fuel our spirit.

These pleasures can easily deceive us into thinking that its something we need. We start to crave this way of operating instead of healthier more sustainable choices. The Seven of Cups shows up to make sure we see through the illusion of instant gratification.

It is hard to make healthy choices because they usually require more planning and effort. And if we have been dealing with emotional or physical pain, the effort is just that much harder. But we are called to remember that these things are not making us happy. It may be delaying unhappiness for the time being, but it is not making us more joyful in the long run.

When we take a step back and look at our patterns, which the end of Pisces Season might call us to do, we will be able to adjust and recalibrate, rather than just operating on autopilot. This recalibration will be so worth the effort.

There is nothing wrong with pleasure in it itself. The cards just want us to see if we are experiencing quick, short-term pleasure or deeper more restorative pleasure. It wants us to cultivate pleasures that enrich us and make us feel more alive and strong, to find things that truly fill our cups.

Our next card is the Fool, a card connected to the youthful energy in all of us. The Fool highlights a childs fantastical imagination, the creative mind, and our adventurous spirit.

It is the first card in the Major Arcana and it brings the energy of a new soul that is not familiar with the trials and tribulations of life. It is all about taking risks and lightening our emotional baggage. If the Fool had a mantra it would be: Lea...

11 Secrets Empaths Will Never Tell You "IndyWatch Feed Uncanny"

Empaths are special people who are very different from others. They feel things more deeply than most people, like emotions and energy. They can even absorb the feelings of others, which is not always good if those people are negative.

If you have a friend who is an empath, you should be careful because they might not ask for help when they need it. They are really good at hiding their feelings and emotions.

Empaths have some traits that they try to hide from others. Here are some of them:

1. Sensitive

Empaths are really sensitive and get emotional easily. They hide this because they dont want to be a burden on others.

2. Emotional Sponge

They can feel the emotions of others, even when they dont show it. They dont talk about this much because people might think they are crazy.

3. Introverted

Empaths like to be alone sometimes because they are sensitive to the energies of others. They dont want to seem rude, so they try to be outgoing sometimes.

4. Nature-Lover

Empaths love being outside in nature because it gives them positive energy.

5. Human Lie Detector

They are good at reading people and can tell when someone is lying. They might not say anything, but they will remember it.

6. Over-Giving

7. Targeted by Negativity

Empaths are targets for negative people because they are forgiving and understanding. They get worried about being taken advantage of.

8. Intuitive

They listen to their intuition and make decisions based on their gut feeling.

9. Easily Stressed

Empaths get easily stressed and overwhelmed. Too many tasks at once can hurt their health.

10. Caring Soul

They care deeply about people and can see the good in others. This can make them vulnerable to being manipulated.

11. Deep Love

Empaths love deeply and care about their friends and family. They are very loyal and make great friends.

In summary, empaths are special people who are very sensitive to emotions and energy. They have some traits that they try to hide, but they make great friends and are very loyal.

U.S. Treasury, FDIC And Federal Reserve Will Guarantee All Deposits At SVB, Signature Bank In Unprecedented Move "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

A joint statement ensured that all customer deposits at the respective banks will be honored by the federal government.

The U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) announced on Sunday that they would take "decisive actions" to strengthen public confidence in the U.S. banking system. This decision came after the FDIC and Federal Reserve recommended Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank be placed under systemic risk exceptions. The move would allow the FDIC to resolve Silicon Valley Bank, based out of Santa Clara, California, in a manner that fully protects depositors money and ensures their access to credit. The same would apply to Signature Bank, based out of New York, New York, which was closed today by its state chartering authority.

In the joint statement, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen, Federal Reserve Board Chair Jerome H. Powell, and FDIC Chairman Martin J. Gruenberg said, "This step will ensure that the U.S. banking system continues to perform its vital roles of protecting deposits and providing access to credit to households and businesses in a manner that promotes strong and sustainable economic growth."

The senior management of both banks has been removed, and shareholders and certain unsecured debtholders will not be protected. However, depositors will have access to all of their money starting on March 13, and no losses will be borne by taxpayers. Any losses incurred to support uninsured depositors will be recovered by a special assessment on banks, as required by law.

The Federal Reserve Board also announced on Sunday that it would make additional funding available to eligible depository institutions to ensure banks have the ability to meet the needs of all their depositors. "The U.S. banking system remains resilient and on a solid foundation," the statement said. "Those reforms combined with today's actions demonstrate our commitment to take the necessary steps to ensure that depositors' savings remain safe."

The "decisive actions" to protect depositors' savings is a welcome move; but also a showcase example of why Bitcoin was created. The Chancellor on the Brink message included within the genesis block was an express comment by Satoshi Nakamoto on their inspiration for the technology. We now see a new iteration of this inevitable consequence of fiat currency systems: and so a new point of evidence for why Bitcoin exists.

Five Sustainable Brick Alternatives "IndyWatch Feed Diy"

Standard brick kilns use a diverse range of energy sources to fire bricks, all of which release noxious pollutants and particulate matter into the environment. Also the raw material for bricks comes from top soil and clay, depleting precious land resources, which could otherwise be used to grow food.

Brick manufacturing innovators are exploring the use of low carbon materials sourced from industrial, municipal and agricultural waste, and hemp among other material.

The raw material for hempcrete bricks comes from the hemp plant, which can grow in most soils and climates, reducing the journey from farm to factory, and thereby, the emissions. By absorbing copious amounts of carbon over its lifetime, the hemp plant is an effective carbon sink.

Hemp blocks from IsoHemp are non-load-bearing glued masonry products recommended for creating building envelopes and partition walls. These blocks can efficiently regulate temperature and humidity, and deliver acoustic insulation and fire resistance. The low-energy manufacturing process uses locally sourced 100% natural hemp and limestone.

The Gent waste brick is a lime-cured brick made from recycled municipal waste, specifically developed for use on the facade of the new Design Museum Gent extension in the city of Ghent in Belgium. These bricks contain 63% waste, and are cured rather than fired. The lime captures CO2 from the atmosphere during the curing, sequestering carbon over the life of the building. The brick also delivers the required strength and resilience to stand up to external conditions.

This Mans BFF Made A Video That Upset His Parents, But He Refuses To Take It Down "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Parents are supposed to be there for the big and little moments in our lives. If we have siblings, we expect them to do their best to be there for all of us, because parents dont play favorites, right?

Well, it turns out thats not always true, no matter how crappy that might be, and OP has no illusion that he might be his parents favorite.

They have missed a ton of important milestones in his life, and their excuse is always that his older sister needed them more.

I have a sister thats 6 years older than me.

My parents for years cancel on me last min because of my sister. I have a basketball game. Ops sorry sister doesnt feel like going out. I am graduating ops sorry sister had a bad day at work.

They have missed both major and smaller events in my life because of her melt downs.

After his engagement, he tried to head them off at the pass, saying he was afraid the same thing was going to happen again. They assured him it would not.

I met the love of my life. We decided to tie the knot. From the beginning I told my parents how I am worried my sister will ruin another special moment in my life.

My mom told me over and over again it would not happen.

Spoiler alert: it did, and with the lamest excuse yet.

The day of my wedding. I received a voicemail from my mom saying they couldnt come because my sisters dog was sick and she was upset.

OPs best man ended up making a video of the nights highlights and posting it to the soundtrack of his parents voicemail and excuse for why they wouldnt be there.

I was hurt, my best man however is a jokester. He took my phone then went to my fianc and asked if he could post a video of our wedding as a gift? On social media. She...

Palestine-Israel: We tell the same old lies, time after time "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

By Stuart Littlewood, Western powers continue their treachery and double standards in hope of ensuring Middle East strife goes on forever.

The first casualty of war is the truth, and this well-known warning by Hiram Johnson (though slightly misquoted) certainly applies in the case of Palestines 75-year struggle against the Zionists armed intrusion and takeover.

It isnt strictly a war, its the nasty, vicious suppression of peaceful and civilised people by alien thugs with an army, navy, and air force equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry largely financed or supplied by the American taxpayer. Their blatantly illegal aggression is met with occasional small-arms fire and sporadic garden-shed rockets launched by so-called Palestinian militants or terrorists. Never do we hear those terms applied to the murderous invading Zionists.
But even the UK Government, where Zionist tentacles reach right to the top, appears shocked at the latest atrocities carried out by its darling racist friend Israel against Palestinian towns in the West Bank. Those crimes were the handiwork of the new government cobbled together by Netanyahu and comprised of extremists, lunatics, and criminals who are even more deranged than before. To hide their embarrassment Whitehall has issued a collection of responses to the situation from themselves and some of their b...

Getting High With the Rabbi "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

The art world has never quite known what to do with artists that make pipes for smoking weed. Nor have working-class artists gotten the respect they deserve. And what comes to mind when you think Jewish artist? At best, Marc Chagall. At worst well, given the decrease of support for Jewish art in recent decades, nothing at all. So its about time to talk about Jeremy Grant-Levine, a Jewish glass artist who specializes in both bongs and biblical objects.

Grant-Levines parents were both sculptors and art teachers, but instead of living off of grants and big commission checks, his dad fixed washers and dryers.

He would be like, be an artist, but be a plumber too, Grant-Levine told Hyperallergic in an interview. His father crafted many of the familys ritual objects by hand, offering Grant-Levine an unusually tactile relationship with Jewish tradition. My dad made mezuzot and menorahs out of metal, so I was constantly interacting with these objects, the artist said.

Colorado Filmmakers Shine at Boulder International Film Festival "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

BOULDER In Boulder, Colorado, the secret to sustaining an international film festival is community engagement. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the city is not large its population sits at around 100,000, according to the 2020 US Census. But sisters Robin and Kathy Beeck always thought it was an ideal setting for a film festival.

[Robin] kept saying, someone will start that at some point. But no one did, so we decided to step up, Kathy Beeck told Hyperallergic.

The sisters, who moved to Boulder in 1977, previously collaborated as filmmakers themselves and decided to found the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) in 2004. The first year, around 5,000 people showed up. Now, BIFF draws around 20,000 attendees.

Woman Wants to Know if Shes a Jerk for Doing a Cop-Themed Photo Shoot "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Who knew that someone would get so worked up about a cop photo shoot?

I sure didnt!

But you never know what youre gonna get when you read stories from Reddits Am I the A**hole? page!

So check this one out and let us know what you think about it in the comments!

AITA for doing a cop photo shoot because of what my ex did?

I (21f) just got out of a 4-year relationship with my HS sweetheart (21m).

We were so in love that I changed my college plans to go to the same school as him (at his request). Weve been living together in the same apartment for most of our time at school and planned on staying in it until we graduate next spring.

About three weeks ago he decided he was done and it broke my heart. I was, and am, devastated and my whole world feels like its upside down. Even though it hurt, the break up conversation was amicable. I cried and asked why.

He said he didnt love me anymore and that he was going to move out when he could get some friends to help him. Then he went and slept on the couch for the rest of the week. At first I thought he was being classy about things.

Until it was time for him to move out. He said hed be moving his things out during the day on Friday while I was in class, but when I got home everything was still here.

He showed up at about 7pm (right as all our neighbors were getting ready to go out for the evening), with his buddies and two cop cars that sat in the parking lot right outside our apartment with their lights on the whole time he gathered his stuff. I was mortified. Our relationship was not violent or dramatic or anything and hes got 50lbs and 5 inches on me

I still dont know why he wanted police there while he took his stuff...

Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Not Coddling Her Infertile Sister Anymore "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Sometimes, the coddling just needs to stop.

And that can include your own family members from time to time.

But this situation is unique and this woman wants to now if she acted like an a**hole when she decided not to coddle her infertile sister anymore.

Lets take a look and see what happened.

AITA for saying I wont coddle my infertile sister any more?

My sister Julie has tried to have a baby for 5 years. She had a miscarriage 2 years ago and outside that, has been unable to get pregnant.

My heart hurts for her. However, one thing I dont agree with is how my family has handled it. Were not allowed to talk about babies around Julie. Any kids younger than 3 cant come to family events that shell attend. She wont attend baby showers, baptisms, etc. The last one I understand, but the rest feels overkill.

I got pregnant last year. I told Julie first and she reiterated her boundaries. I said I understood. The first hurdle came with my baby shower. My MIL was throwing it. I didnt expect Julie to come. Then my mom told me I shouldnt have one period, out of respect. I said that was ridiculous. She didnt have to come so what did it matter? Only 3 people from my side of the family came to the shower.

When my son was born, I posted a birth announcement on Facebook. My parents lectured me for this and said it was going to hurt Julie. I said she could just block or mute me. They said I should make the effort. Julie echoed that if I cared, Id stop. I ended up blocking her just to save drama.

My aunts 70th birthday party is next week. My husband and I planned to go, bringing our son. Julie called and asked if we were going. She then asked for me to get a sitter for our son. I said no.

2,000 Years of Kindness "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

From Marcus Aurelius to Einstein, poets and philosophers on the deepest wellspring of our humanity.

Practice kindness all day to everybody and you will realize youre already in heaven now, Jack Kerouac wrote in a beautiful 1957 letter to his first wife turned lifelong friend. Kindness, kindness, kindness, Susan Sontag resolved in her diary on New Years Day in 1972. Half a century later, the Dalai Lama placed a single exhortation at the center of his ethical and ecological philosophy: Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

Nothing broadens the soul more than the touch of kindness, given or received, and nothing shrivels it more than a flinch of unkindness, given or received something we have all been occasionally lashed with, and something of which we are all occasionally culpable, no matter how ethical our lives and how well-intentioned our conduct. Everyone loves the idea of kindness loves thinking of themselves as a kind person but somehow, the practice of it, the dailiness of it, has receded into the background in a culture rife with selfing and cynicism, a culture in which we have come to mistake the emotional porousness of kindness for a puncture in the armor of our hard individualism. And yet kindness remains our best antidote to the fundamental loneliness of being human.

Gathered here are two millennia of meditations on kindness its challenges, its nuances, and its rippling rewards from a posy of vast minds and vast spirits who have risen above the common tide of their times to give us the embers of timelessness.

Yellow Halos Laud People of the African Diaspora in Akindele Johns Vibrant Portraits "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

A vibrant painted portrait of two women with a yellow halo encircling their faces

All images Akindele John, shared with permission

Nigerian artist Akindele John harbors a profound respect for people of the African Diaspora, which he exemplifies in his vivid, celebratory portraiture. Working in oil on canvas, the artist centers on figures who offer insight into diasporic lineages, as he intertwines historic elements with that of the present day. My subjects are based on African old ways, he tells Colossal. They are real people that tell a story about the African diaspora.

Often overlaid with ornate botanical motifs or embedded with patterns, the portraits are vibrant and regal and tend to portray figures in moments of contemplation. Yellow halos encircle their faces, elevating each to a position of spiritual wisdom and regard. John shares that hes drawn to the contrasts within compositions and contemporary interpretations of chiaroscuro, particularly the work of photographer Maria Presser.

The artist is represented by Genre: Urban Arts and frequently shares glimpses into his process and studio on Instagram.

What is the fate of Jew infested and controlled Amerika?

quote from Bibi Netanyahu, architect of 911.

AMERIKA IS THE GOLDEN CALF

America is a golden calf and we will suck it dry, chop it up, and sell it off piece by piece until there is nothing left but the worlds biggest welfare state that we will create and control. Why? Because it is the will of God and America is big enough to take the hit so we can do it again and again and again. This is what we do to countries that we hate. We destroy them very slowly and make them suffer for refusing to be our slaves.

Step 1. Install central bank in Goyim central

Step 2. Get government in debt with endless wars

Step 3. Have tribe members infiltrate all levels of society

Step 4. Import tens of millions of violent simians and mudbrids into Amerika. give blacks free everything so jungle bunnies keep breeding like rats in the back of a food warehouse

Step 5. Do 911, say it was Muslims, have superpower Amerika bomb all the nations around Israel, wage a war of terror on all nations under the guise of a war on terror

Step 6 Use the Jewtube and control of mass media demonizing the host nation white population, setting the tone that all white people are racist and unreformable

Step 7. with control of the courts, remove any penalty for a black mugging, stabbing, murdering whites . Never show black on white crime. Always lie and misreport any story, say a black killing a white is a white killing a black, and if you doubt it, you are a conspiracy theorist

Step 8 ban guns so whites are defenseless against raging negroid monkeys and other brown abominations

Step 9. denounce any nationalist white who wants to stop the violence, anyone against Jewish communism is a dirty anti-semite. If you are against wars you are antisemitic, etc. If you are against anything degrading society you are a nazi

Step 10. Use fake pandemics to sterilize the population, teach homosexuality, use porn to degrade white women, always show white woman being mated to black men, elevate German Heidi Klum as the ideal breeder with a pitch black simian

Step 11 elevate the worst of the worst to the highest positions of power, make Michael Robinson, aka wife of Obongo, who played the first lady, as a presidential candidate

Step 12, infiltrate the Christian church and turn it to Zionism. Change the meaning of the Gospels so white Christians support Israel and wars. Have televangelists beat the drum for Israel, make it clear that to get to heaven you must love Jews and support Israel

Step 13 control all political candidates with AIPAC money, Trump the MAGA is really make Israel great while running debts and Amerika into the ground

Step 14, install pe...

Always tell Steve Kirsch NO "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

What an interesting dilemma: if I were seated next to this smug asshole, would I take the money? How about you?

On the one hand, that would be a nice sum for my retirement, and the odds of getting COVID from one exposure are lowand the odds of dying from the disease are even lower. On the other hand, gambling my health and life against what this guy considers chump change is a fools game.

The deciding factor for me is that Mr Kirsch is an obnoxious jerk whod use my acceptance as propaganda to do greater harm to other people. His seatmate turned him down, as did several other people he offered $10,000 to. So yeah, Id tell him no, and probably tell him to fuck off.

As it turns out, Steve Kirsch is a notable liar and quack with a lot of money.

Kirsch is a serial entrepreneur who has spent decades pitching the next big thing, whether optical mice (Mouse Systems), document processing (FrameMaker), search engines (Infoseek), digital security (OneID), or e-commerce (Propel Software). His latest startup, M10, is a spin-off of a spin-off that sells a blockchain for banks. He has made millions from these projects, even if they have not turned him into a household name.

You see this with people who have a lot of money, who think that reflects their intelligence, Richman told me. He considers himself an expert in something that he doesnt have training or experience in, and hes not following scientific methods to assess data.

Man, we sure have a lot of examples of that phenomenon.

His current obsession is with promoting crank COVID cures like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Hes funding clinical trials, which is good, but then he tends to ignore or even contradict the results when they dont go in the direction he wants, which is antithetical to doing good science.

His peers and the beneficiaries of his wealth are beginning to realize that.

Peter Meinke, another former board member, spent nearly three decades in drug discovery at Merck.

Its really, really common for a small effect, something that looks exciting, to be a statistical fluke when you look at a larger population. Its sad, but its true, he told me. With covid, 80% of your patient population does just peachy with no treatment at all, just a little bed rest and fluid. Its actually much harder to parse out a signal than if youre treating diabetes or cancer.

In addition to the issues with fluvoxamine, advisors grew increasingly un...

How To Listen to 10,000 of the First Phonograph Recordings Ever Made "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

How To Listen to 10,000 of the First Phonograph Recordings Ever Made

Listen to 10,000 of the First Wax Cylinder Recordings, or Phonographs, Ever Made

An Edison Gold Moulded Cylinder Record, circa 1904. (Photo: Phonatic via Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 3.0)

Want to hear history? Through the University of California Santa Barbara Cylinder Audio Archive, the tunes and voices of over a hundred years ago can be projected from your computer or phone. The internet archive compiled over 10,000 wax cylinder recordingsknown as phonograph cylindersfrom the earliest years of sound recordings. Invented by Thomas Edison in 1877, the phonograph became a vehicle for late 19th and very early 20th-century sound.

The wax cylinders recorded sound through engravings on their surfaces. The sound could then be played back on a phonograph, a machine similar to a modern record player with a large horn. Companies began to mass produce cylinders that recorded songs and orchestras played live. Those who happened to own their own recording equipment could even make home recordings. All these genres can be found in the UCSB archives. From the 1890s to the late 1910s when disc format began to be used, this dominant medium captured the sounds of turn-of-the-century America.

Try exploring perky polkas, ragtime, and even yodeling. You can listen to cylinders in Welsh or Yiddish, or specifically search for harmonica melodies. Playlists will take you through Central Europe or the work of Black artists and composers. The early speeches of T...

1666 and the Dark Messiah ROBERT SEPEHR "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Challenging information as suggested from our friend Devon: Kabbalah is the ancient esoteric tradition of mystical interpretation of the Bible, first transmitted orally and using occult methods, reaching the height of its influence in the later Middle Ages and remains significant in certain religious sects. Most people have heard of Jesus Christ, considered the Messiah by Christians, and who lived 2000 years ago. But very few have ever heard of Sabbatai Zevi, who declared himself the Messiah in 1666. By proclaiming redemption was available through acts of sin, he amassed a following of over one million passionate believers during the 17th century. After Sabbati Zevi's death in 1676, his successor, Jacob Frank, expanded upon and continued his occult philosophy. Frankism, a religious movement of the 18th and 19th centuries, centered on his leadership, and his claim to be the reincarnation of the Messiah Sabbatai Zevi. ARKANSAS STRIKES DOWN STATUTORY RAPE LAWS "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

  • KIDS WORK EASIER

  • READ ABOUT THE CONTROVERSIAL NEW BILL FUNDED ENTIRELY BY CALIPHATE

LITTLE ROCK Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed the Minors Advancing in Prosperity (MAP) bill today, with media reports focusing on many shocking aspects of the 100,000 page legislation. Included along with the easing of child labor laws was the revision of several criminal punishments for minor-related sex crimes. New wording removed jail terms for most felonies and focused in on correcting pedophilic acts with rehabilitation at state-funded religious centers.

Its like an addiction! said Jerry Fowler. Basically its like were ending the drug war.

In addition to his membership on the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Committee, Fowler is a youth minister who specializes in counseling recovering addicts of all kinds.

New Miracle baby dust pills by Lebal Drocer IncHe recently advocated for a controversial form of Sanders recover.

They dont call it jailbait for nothing, Fowler said. We throw them in with the fatties who are addicted to sugar, the needle freaks, and the porno pyros. Theyre all just addicted, addicted to sin. Its a medical thing, nothing more.

Fowler, who spoke with his hands in his pockets, nodded to a long gray building with bars on the windows. Its paint is peeled from years of neglect, revealing layers of color history, grays, greens, olive drab, turquoise, red and black.

Then we BREAK them down and rebuild them, Fowler continued. Like the military does. But we can handle this ourselves. We need big government out of medicine so we can move this society along, move the economy along, to get that engine burning you have to burn through a few thousand souls. As you can see, we have the facilities to support that.

Fowlers ministry has been certified and funded under the bill, which reclassifies his megachurch as a Class-A medical facility that is licensed to rehabilitate hundreds of thousands of criminals a year, at Fowlers sole discretion.

Mia Goth Placed Slightly Offstage at Oscars to Scream at Award Winners Who Go Over Time "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

LOS ANGELES The 95th Academy Awards is expected to feature intimidating English actress Mia Goth slightly offstage and ready to scream at any winners that go over their time, petrified sources confirmed.

Long-winded or preachy acceptance speeches have always been a problem for the Oscars. Slowly turning up the music on the winners wasnt cutting the mustard. But after seeing Pearl a few months back, I got the brilliant idea of letting Mia Goth linger menacingly out of frame to enforce our strict speech policy, explained award show producer Zoe Carillo. Its a win-win for us because itll keep the show under time, and also Im terrified of Mia. So Im hoping this gig will ease the pain of us not nominating her. I mean, shes married to Shia Lebouf, so shes gotta be at least partially insane, right?

Goth elaborated on her creative journey while preparing for the upcoming show.

Just like with acting, theres a process to terrifying celebrities into peeing their tuxes and fleeing the Dolby Theatre in terror. You cant go right to screaming what are you doing you little baby? at Ke Huy Quan, said Goth. Youve got to first give him a couple of eyebrow-less glares, followed by a few whispered threats, and then some distracting scarecrow humping in front of the podium. Ive also been granted carte blanche to stick Judd Hirsch in the chest with a pitchfork if he goes off about Tibet or the rainforest or anything like that.

While unusual, Hollywood insider Wyatt Robinson claimed similar tactics are being considered for other major award shows.

After last years brouhaha at the Oscars, everyone is exploring new and exciting ways to keep celebrities in line like the trained circus animals they are, said Robinson. Word has it that the Emmys are considering fitting every nominee with a shock collar and then giving the remote to Brian Cox so he can shock anyone at his discretion. And the Grammys has arranged a deal with the California Penal System to let Suge Knight out of prison for the evening.

In a related story, The Academy announced that James Cameron will be waiting in the lobby to beat the shit out of anyone that gets up to use the bathroom during the event.

Precocious 11-Year-Old Taylor Swift Fan Already Doxxing Critics at High School Level "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

EVANSTON, Ill. Local eleven-year-old and fanatical Taylor Swift fan Sophia Ellis is wowing the Swiftie community with her advanced online harassing, particularly in her ruthless doxxing of music reviewers who dare to state even the mildest of criticism toward Ms. Swift.

Tay Tay means everything to me, said Ellis during her free period between Biology and Home Room. Some people call me a prodigy, but all I know is that when I get online and start SWAT-ing anyone who says the spoken-word bridge of Me! was anything less than genius, it just feels natural. Its not that I dont put in the hard work to drive anti-Taylor critics to suicide, because I do. But I know that this is what I was meant to do and I want to do it the best.

Freelance music critic Tory Gill can attest to Ellis skill as a ruthless defender of Taylor Swifts music output, personal life, and sense of style.

My life is pure hell, said Gill, glumly reading his 17th email accusing him of being a pedophile. All I did was write a review of Reputation in which I commented that the track title Look What You Made Me Do uncomfortably echoes the language of domestic abusers. Ever since then, this sixth-grader has been torturing me in ways Abu Ghraib interrogators would never dream of. Have you seen your name written on a Trapper Keeper and marked for death, just under Jake Gyllenhaal? I have. Shes like the Mozart of destroying peoples lives. Releasing their Social Security Number to Russian identity thieves, calling their mother to say theyre dead in a car accident, the works. Sophia, if youre reading this, please, no more.

Global pop star Taylor Swift has words of caution for her young, vengeful fans.

I would never support online harassment and cyberbullying, Swift said from her private jet. But Sophia, I know that you are one of my true fans, and all should fear you. Mark my words, critics, I have millions of tiny, intensely focused followers like Sophia out there, and at my command, I will unleash torments that will make you wish that all existence would end. Only then will your suffering be over. Midnights is currently on sale at all retailers and available on all major streaming services!

As of press time, Sophias eyes had turned complete, unblinking black upon finding a Reddit comment that implied Swifts guitar work was rudimentary at best.

Anti-Government Conservative Adds 75th Thin Blue Line Sticker to Truck "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. Self-proclaimed freethinker Terry Schuse added a 75th thin blue line sticker to his prized truck despite constantly ranting about government tyranny, confirmed multiple sources who learned just to ignore him.

Fact of the matter is the boys in blue are the only thing keeping this country from going to complete shit. The police would operate so much better without politicians writing all these bullshit laws and regulations, said Schuse. Cops should be able to work off of their gut instinct. If they dont like how a fella looks at them then I think they should be able to put the boots to the guy. Show them who is boss around here. I make sure I salute every police officer I see, and I spit at all the jack-booted thugs in the government who keep trying to limit my god-given rights as an American citizen.

Local police officer Sandra Gomez says she sees a lot of support from people who drive tricked-out pickup trucks.

I got into law enforcement to be a positive change, but everything is so political now. When I see these guys wearing Punisher tank tops and modified American flags I sort of cringe, said Officer Gomez. They have all these plans to tear down the government and start over, but I dont have the heart to tell them Im actually a government employee. It would blow their minds if they found that out. They all think government is some abstract idea specifically designed to make their lives miserable. But it is nice when they buy me a coffee in the morning.

Distributors of pro-police merchandise say business has never been better.

I always vote Democrat because whenever there is some radical leftist in the White House my business booms, said Darrin Landers, owner and operator of Patriot USA Merch. Whenever I need a little bump in business Ill go on Facebook and share an article from 2021 about defunding the police and I watch the orders come rolling in. The weird thing is those same people will buy the Kill Your Local Politician and Trump for Dictator shirts I made on a dare. I dont know if any of these people have the ability to connect the two ideologies.

At press time, Schuse was in a catatonic state of ecstasy after flag.

Oscars Attempt to Engage Younger Audience by Giving Lifetime Achievement Award to Timothe Chalamet "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

LOS ANGELES The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that 27-year-old Timothe Chalamet will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at this years Oscars ceremony in an effort to engage the Gen Z audience, confirmed sources who thought it was about time that happened.

It was an extremely close call between Timothe, Zendaya, and 20-year-old Jenna Ortega, said Bill Kramer, CEO of the Academy. We did a recent tally of the last few dozen winners of this award, and we were absolutely shocked to find out that none of them were under the age of 65. Seems unfair to exclude eligibility based on age. If anything, we need to give Pete Davidson this award for a few consecutive years to balance things out. Plus, were hoping we can finally nab that precious early 20s target demographic that weve been hearing so much about. One could say the ceremony really did a glow up this year and were simping for Cham Cham. I think I said that right.

Local Gen Zer Madison Weinberg couldnt be more excited about the announcement.

As someone whos seen almost all of Timothes appearances on websites that talk about his dating history, Im very proud of him, said Weinberg without so much as breaking eye contact with TikTok. After all, its a lifetime achievement award. Why give it to someone whos over the age of 30? Thats when life literally ends. Either way, Im still not going to be watching the Oscars. Mostly because I havent even heard of a large percentage of these people that were nominated. Like, who the hell is Steven Spielberg?

Chalamet appeared somewhat surprised by the decision.

Seems like only a few years ago I did my first movie in 2014, said the Dune actor whos coincidentally also been nominated for most pinchable cheeks by grandmothers around the country. You know, when I was young, everyone around me said I had a certain it factor. Only they called it a nepo factor. I dont know what that means, but I guess I can chalk up this entire achievement to whatever that is. Thanks, nepo!

At press time, the Academy further turned heads after announcing that 24-year-old YouTube star MrBeast will be nominated for several awards, including Best Documentary (Short Subject) and a new category called Best Vibes.

Woman Asks if Shes Wrong for Banning Her Husband From Visiting Her Sister "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Theres a time and a place for some friendly debate among adults about politics and things like that but it can get really old really fast when people insist on doing it all the time.

So is this woman a jerk for banning her husband from visiting her sister with her?

Take a look and let us know what you think in the comments.

AITA for banning my husband from visiting my sister with me because he wont stop trying to debate her and her husband?

My sister, Marie, (29) and her husband Zach (40) had their first child, a beautiful baby girl, 2 months ago. They have been pretty nervous parents, so when my husband Tom (42) and I (37) were invited to finally meet our niece, I was thrilled except I was worried about Tom making an ass out of himself.

You see, Tom and Marie have always had a hard time getting along because they do not agree on nearly anything, and Tom has always gotten a kick out of challenging Marie on their differing views because they are both very opinionated.

The thing is to Tom, it is funny to watch Marie react when he says things to provoke her, and Marie always wants to prove his views wrong. In his head, because she was in grad school for social sciences (she finished right before having her baby) and is knowledgeable about the topics that Tom wants to argue about, Marie shouldnt have a problem with debating him because its literally her job.

In the past, both Tom and Marie have initiated these arguments, and they have both been guilty of taking it too far in the past. But ever since she got pregnant/ had a baby Marie has calmed down a lot, whereas Tom still tries to bait her into debates about touchy subjects (mainly politics and personal values). This got to a point where Marie blocked him on all social media a few months ago.

Satanists Demand Equal Access to School Clubs in Lawsuit "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

A school district in Pennsylvania is threatened with being sued by an after-school Satanist club after allegedly refusing them access to school grounds for religious activities, a report from the Guardian has revealed.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sent a letter to the Saucon Valley school district on behalf of the club, asking them to allow the After School Satan Club (ASSC) to access school facilities in line with the First Amendment of the US Constitution.

According to the ACLU, the ASSC was initially allowed to use facilities for their activities but then prohibited after backlash from the community members, causing their requested meeting dates to be denied.

In contrast, an organization dedicated to spreading the word about the Bible called the Good News Club was allowed to access public school grounds for hosting meetings. This organization is sponsored primarily by the local Evangelical church in the area.

The ASSC says its members do not worship or believe in the Devil. Instead, they are a secular organization that does not believe in introducing religion into public schools and will only open a club if other religious groups are operating on campus.

The district has intentionally opened up its facilities for general community use and, in so doi...

Regarding the Quote It Is No Measure of Health "IndyWatch Feed Health"

From Krishnamurti Foundation Trust: The nearest direct quote from Krishnamurti we have found, from Commentaries on Living Series 3 (1960), written in the early 1950s, is:

Is society healthy, that an individual should return to it? Has not society itself helped to make the individual unhealthy? Of course, the unhealthy must be made healthy, that goes without saying; but why should the individual adjust himself to an unhealthy society? If he is healthy, he will not be a part of it. Without first questioning the health of society, what is the good of helping misfits to conform to society?

Additionally:

To help the individual to fit into a society which is ever at war with itself is this what psychologists and analysts are supposed to do? Is the individual to be healed only in order to kill or be killed? If one is not killed, or driven insane, then must one only fit into the structure of hate, envy, ambition and superstition which can be very scientific?

The origin of this quote being assigned to Krishnamurti is probably a book written by Mark Vonnegut (Kurt Vonneguts son) about his mental illness (The Eden Express: A Memoir of Insanity) . . .

Aldous Huxley, a close friend of Krishnamurtis, also wrote a passage that is similar, contained in his book Brave New World Revisited (1958):

The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does. They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.

There is also a very similar quote from Henry Miller (who was inspired by Krishnamurti), from his travelogue The Colossus of Maroussi (1941):

There is no salvation in becoming adapted to a world which is crazy.

Strategies to Optimize Mitochondrial Health in Long COVID "IndyWatch Feed Health"

The video above features a recent lecture I gave to the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) on how to optimize your mitochondrial health and function.

Mitochondrial dysfunction is at the root of most all chronic diseases, and it also plays a crucial role in conditions such as long COVID, which is becoming quite common. Its also a root factor that must be addressed in COVID jab injuries, regardless of symptoms or severity.

Features of the post-jab injuries we see point to severe mitochondrial dysfunction, which in turn causes energy failure. The same goes for long COVID in people who struggle with unrelenting fatigue and other symptoms for months after theyve recovered from COVID-19 infection.

If you can improve your mitochondrial function and restore energy supply to your cells, youre going to massively increase your odds of reversing the problems caused by the jab or the virus.

US Life Expectancy Falls in Historic Decline

Allopathic medicine has been a leading cause of death in the U.S. for over two decades. In 1998, researchers concluded that properly prescribed and correctly taken pharmaceutical drugs were the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S.

Two years later, in 2000, Dr. Barbara Starfield published her groundbreaking paper, "Is US Health Really the Best in the World?"1 in which she provided data showing that medical errors by doctors were the third leading cause of death. Little has changed since then.

In 2016, Johns Hopkins patient safety experts calculated that more than 250,000 patients died each year from medical errors, again pegging it as the third leading cause of death.2

In July 2022, the National Institutes of Health concluded the annual death toll from medical errors could be as high as 440,000 and possibly even more because of lack of reporting making it, still, the third leading cause of death.3

In future years, I believe the medical intervention sold as "COVID vaccines" will prove to be the No. 1 killer of Americans, and were already seeing that trend. Something extraordinarily odd happened in 2020 and 2021, something that shaved nearly three years off the life expectancy in the U.S.4

Even a tenth or two-tenths of a year mean decline in life expectancy on a population level is a big deal, as it means a lot more people are dying prematurely than they really should be. A three-year drop is simply unheard of.

Common Cold May Trigger Positive COVID-19 Antibody Test "IndyWatch Feed Health"

From Dr. Joseph Mercola

Since COVID-19 first entered the scene, exchange of ideas has basically been outlawed. By sharing my views and those from various experts throughout the pandemic on COVID treatments and the experimental COVID jabs, I became a main target of the White House, the political establishment and the global cabal.

Propaganda and pervasive censorship have been deployed to seize control over every part of your life, including your health, finances and food supply. The major media are key players and have been instrumental in creating and fueling fear.

I am republishing this article in its original form so that you can see how the progression unfolded.

Originally published: July 30, 2020

Right now, there are three types of COVID-19 tests:1

  • Molecular Also known as a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test, this test detects whether genetic material of the virus is present in the sample collected from your throat or sputum (the back of your sinuses)
  • Antigen This test, sometimes referred to as "rapid test," detects viral proteins
  • Antibody Also known as a serology test, it detects the presence of antibodies in your blood

The first two, molecular and antigen, are so-called "viral tests" that detect active infections, whereas the antibody test will tell you if you've developed antibodies in response to a previous coronavirus infection. It typically takes your body one to three weeks after an infection clears to start making antibodies against the virus in question.

Common Cold Can Trigger Positive COVID-19 Antibody Test

Each of these COVID-19 tests have their issues and controversies. The problem with antibody testing is that there are seven different coronaviruses known to cause respiratory illness in humans.2 Four of them cause symptoms associated with the common cold:

  • 229E
  • NL63
  • OC43
  • HKU1

In addition to the common cold, OC43 and HKU1 two of the most commonly encountered betacoronaviruses3 are also known to cause bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pneumonia in all age groups.4 The other three human coronaviruses which are capable of causing more serious respiratory illness are:

  • SARS-CoV
  • MERS-CoV
  • SARS-CoV-2

The tricky part is that the antibodies creat...

Fake Meat Dangers With Dr. Joseph Mercola "IndyWatch Feed Health"

At face value, fake meat sounds like the perfect solution to end world hunger, protect animal welfare and save the planet from environmental destruction. Even a brief look below the surface reveals a much more nefarious reality, however.

To help raise awareness about this latest assault on human health, I recently spoke with host Polly Tommey on "Tea Time," a program by Children's Health Defense, about the dangers of fake meat products.1

Fake Meat Is All About Controlling the Food Supply

Fake food including lab-grown meat, animal-free dairy and plant-based meat is the globalists' latest attempt to control the food supply. Former U.S. Secretary of State and national security adviser Henry Kissinger once said, "Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control people."2 Controlling people is their whole agenda.

The globalists have long held a monopoly on the grain industry with their patented genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In the early 2010s, not many people knew about GMOs. In 2011, we started to educate the public about their dangers, as they posed a major threat to public health and the environment.

In 2012, a ballot initiative was launched in California to require mandatory labeling of genetically engineered (GE) foods and food ingredients. The initiative was narrowly defeated due to massive donations from multinational corporations, but we won in the long term because awareness of GMOs in the food supply significantly increased. Now, most health-conscious people avoid GE/GMOs.

A similar trend is now occurring with fake food. The globalists are trying to replace animal husbandry with lab-grown meat, which will allow private companies to effectively control the entire food supply.

Fake Meat Is Even Worse Than CAFOs

Many people are aware of the pitfalls of concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) unnatural diets of GMO grains, crowded conditions, inhumane treatment, excessive pollution and rampant spread of disease. CAFOs are bad but the new fake food era is going to be even worse.

With their patented fake meat products, the globalists will have unprecedented control over people's health.3 It sounds noble to try to provide for the entire world's population using animal-free methods, but it's a deception.

As Time Went By "IndyWatch Feed Health"

D5017056-E0F9-40A5-819A-37DF14A9E88BBy Cathy Jameson

In an October 2020 post, I wrote, As time goes by, well certainly learn more about the coronavirus and any long-term effects it may have.  Thatll hopefully include learning about the quarantine precautions we were asked to take, too.  Evidence already shows that some precautions have had detrimental effects, including an increase in mental health.

A recent paper, which included results of the fear of contagion and its behavior, focused on a younger population.  Authors of that paper, which was revised in October 2022, shared that, The main conclusion reached by this manuscript is that, as the existing specific literature has already shown, COVID-19 has had different negative psychological consequences among certain vulnerable groups, including adolescents and young adults. The results presented allow us to verify, within these psychological consequences, how the symptoms of generalized anxiety or major depression disorder are a consequence of the fear of COVID-19.

It's terribly sad to see reports that people are sadder now than they were before.  From a recent story in The Washington Post, Joel Achenbach asks America shut down in response to covid.  Would we ever do it again? Its a quick read if you havent seen it yet.  The part that resonated the most with me was this:

the pain of the national shutdown - businesses going under, weddings postponed, protracted isolation of the elderly, learning losses among schoolkids - is glaringly obvious.  Critics of pandemic restrictions contend that the cure was worse than the disease

Carole Nervig: The Lost Legacy of Lemuria "IndyWatch Feed Uncanny"

Shows how the archetypal symbols of the Pohnpaid petroglyphs have exact counterparts in other ancient cultures throughout the world

Provides evidence that Pohnpaid is closely related to--yet predates--neighboring Nan Madol

Includes hundreds of Pohnpaid petroglyphs and stone circle photos, many never before seen

While residing on the small Pacific island of Pohnpei in the 1990s, Carole Nervig discovered that a recent brush fire had exposed hundreds of previously unknown petroglyphs carved on gigantic boulders. This portion of the megalithic site called Pohnpaid was unknown even to Pohnpeis state historic preservation officer. The petroglyphs were unlike others from Oceania, so Nervig began investigating and comparing them with petroglyphs and symbols from around the world.

In this fully illustrated exploration, Nervig documents her discoveries on Pohnpei, revealing how the archetypal symbols of the Pohnpaid petroglyphs have exact counterparts in other ancient cultures and universal motifs throughout the world, including the Australian Aborigines, the Inca in Peru, the Vedic civilization of India, early Norse runes, and Japanese symbols. She provides evidence that Pohnpaid is closely related to--yet predates--neighboring Nan Madol and shows how Pohnpaid was an outpost of the sunken Kahnihmueiso, a city of the now-vanished civilization of Mu, or Lemuria.

Discussing the archaeoastronomical function of the Pohnpaid stones, the author examines how many of the glyphs symbolize celestial phenomena and clearly reveal how their creators were sky watchers with a sophisticated understanding of astronomy, geophysics, geomancy, and engineering. She shows how the scientific concepts depicted in the petroglyphs reveal how the citizens of Mu had a much deeper understanding of the living Earth than we do, which gave them the ability to manipulate natural forces both physically and energetically. Combining archaeological evidence with traditional oral accounts, Nervig reveals Pohnpaid not only as a part of a geodetic network of ancient sacred sites and portals but also as a remnant of the now submerged but once enlightened Motherland of Mu.

Carole Nervig has spent more than four decades researching Micronesian traditional culture and oral history as well as the sacred sites of Micronesia and Hawaii. She first moved to Micronesia as a Peace Corps volunteer in 1969. In the 1990s she discovered a previously unknown megalithic portion of the Pohnpaid petroglyph site on the Micronesian island of Pohnpei. Creator of the Nan Madol Foundation, she now lives in Ecuador.

Hes Mad at His Wife for Releasing a Bunny in the Middle of Their Yard. Is He Wrong? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

If you get easily offended by stories where something bad happens to an animal, you might want to tread carefully.

Because this story from Reddits Am I the A**hole? page is kind of a bummer!

Check out all the details below and let us know what you think in the comments.

AITA for being mad at my wife for releasing a bunny in the middle of the yard?

A few days ago my kids found a little bunny and brought it home. And they were begging us to keep it. But we cant keep a wild rabbit and already have several pets.

The bunny was big enough to fend for itself. And I tried to nicely tell my kids that it needs to go back home to its family. They were sad, but agreed to take it back. However, I was busy with work and couldnt go with them.

So my wife went. I told her to take the bunny to some thorn bushes at the end of the property and let it go there. Because thats the safest place to do it. We live in a country area ripe with predators.

Well I went back to work. But a little while later my kids came running back into the house loudly crying with my wife trailing after and trying to calm them down and tell them its not so bad.

I asked what happened, and my eldest said that mama made them let the bunny go in the middle of the yard, and a hawk took it. They even described the poor bunnys screams. I was mortified, and then angry at my wife for not letting it go the way Id advised.

She defended herself and said it Was just a bunny! The kids will get over it!. But I said that was absolutely wrong. And I warned her of predators. And now our kids had to see that poor bunny get carried away by a hawk. Both of our kids shut themselves...

Hepatoprotective effects of rosmarinic acid on ovalbumin-induced intestinal food allergy. "IndyWatch Feed Health"

PMID:  Molecules. 2023 Jan 12 ;28(2). Epub 2023 Jan 12. PMID: 36677846 Abstract Title:  Hepatoprotective Effects of Rosmarinic Acid on Ovalbumin-Induced Intestinal Food Allergy Mouse Model. Abstract:  Rosmarinic acid (RA) has been proven to exert antianaphylaxis in atopic dermatitis, asthma, and allergic rhinitis. The aim of this study was to determine the hepatoprotective effects of RA on ovalbumin (OVA) challenge-induced intestinal allergy. The results exhibited that RA could relieve anaphylactic symptoms, decrease diarrhea, and prevent hypothermia in allergic mice. Moreover, the elevation of OVA specific IgE (OVA-sIgE), histamine, and mouse mast cell proteinases (mMCP-1) in the serum of OVA challenged mice were remarkably inhibited by RA. OVA challenge resulted in notable increases in serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activities, liver malondialdehyde (MDA) and nitic oxide (NO) levels, and a remarkable decrease in liver superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and glutathione (GSH) level. RA treatments succeeded in improving these biochemical parameters and promote the redox homeostasis. Cytokine expression evaluation showed that RA effectively enhanced the expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-10 and FOXP-3) in the liver of OVA-challenged mice. Meanwhile, the elevation of pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-, IL-4, IL-6, mMCP-1, and iNOS) were remarkably inhibited by RA. These findings suggest that RA possesses hepatoprotective effects on OVA challenge-induced liver injury. The anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory activities of RA potentially play vital roles in this process.
