Taiwan Has Tilted Mailboxes as a Reminder of Its Resilience and Hope "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Taiwan Has Tilted Mailboxes as a Reminder of Its Resilience and Hope

two taiwanese mailboxes bent by a hurricane, one green and one red

From sweeping landscapes to intricate buildings, Taiwan is an island nation that many tourists frequent. That's why it can seem odd that one of their most famous landmarks are two humble mailboxes. Located in the Zhongshan District in the city of Taipei, these unique mailboxes have captured the public's imagination thanks to their appearance. Unlike most mailboxes, these two, known as Little Red (or Xiao Hong ) and Little Green ( Xiao Lu) are severely bent. But beyond it's cute-looking tilt, they also tell a much deeper story.

Due to its location, Taiwan is prone to typhoons, as it is usually hit by three or four cyclones a year. In 2015, a particularly bad one known as Typhoon Soudelor struck the island. During the storm, a billboard got loose due to the heavy winds and hit the mailboxes. While it bent their posts, it didn't tear them down.

After the storm was over, citizens of Taipei came across the newly leaning mailboxes and fell in love with them. Not only did they look adorable, but they were also a symbol of resilience and survival. The new attraction seemed to say, You can strike us, but we'll stay on our feet with a smile on our face.

Social media quickly caught wind of these new landmarks and people began visiting them. It wasnt long before they started staging fun photos with the new landmarks, using forced perspectivesimilar to the way tourists pose in Italy with the leaning tower of Pisa. This led authorities to embrace the symbolism of the mailboxes, and instead of repairing them, they added a plaque telling their story in Chinese, Japanese, and English.

Crypto Analyst Explains Why XRP Will Not Fall To $0.10 "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

XRP price is trading sideways alongside most cryptocurrencies in the market today. The coin had been trading above $0.5 until April 21, when a bearish wave pushed it below $0.45 to $0.43. The token has witnessed a slight recovery above $0.46 today.

As a result, crypto enthusiasts fear a further decline in XRP. Notably, a prominent crypto analyst shared a post responding to his friends forecast of XRP slumping to $0.10, but Egrags response was that technical indicators on XRP price dont support such a price decline.

No Technical Indicator Supports Dropping To $0.10, Says Egrag

The ongoing market-wide downturn has caught up with XRP, its price has been gaining momentum over the past few weeks. The coin succumbed to the bearish trend, pushing it to lose its past weeks gain by 9.87%. This downturn has stirred reactions among the crypto community, with people, including Egrags friend speculating a drop back to $0.10.

However, Egrag reacting to his friends forecast, said it was a wrong call. The analyst shared some technical insights for XRP in response to the friends prediction. Egrag noted that XRPs movements aligned with his predetermined technical indicators like the Fibonacci targets. And no technical indicator or Fibonacci targets support the idea of Ripples native coin price correction to $0.10.

Egrag said his friends forecast seems more like a personal speculative opinion than an analytic insight. He further noted that while a price correction to $0.10 is possible, the probability is slim and not as low as his friend speculates. Nevertheless, sudden regulatory enforcement could stir up such a price drop for XRP.

Egrag argued that while crypto assets have some immunity against bearish economic events, their prices are still susceptible to unforeseen occurrences. Therefore, any notable XRP price decline to $0.10 would rather be due to a regulatory action instead of mere market forces.

So, Egrag concluded that a price fall to $0.10 for XRP is technically impossible without unfair regulations. He encouraged the XRP Army to remain steadfast in support of the token as a significant price correction presents a buying opportunity.

XRP Price Outlook

Meanwhile, the XRP community anticipates the summary judgment for the Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit regarding the tokens status as a security.

Mapping Africatown: Albert Murray and his Hometown "IndyWatch Feed Literature"

Map by Donna Brown for Library of America, with input from Paul Devlin. Based on a map drawn by Albert Murray in the 1950s or 1960s.

Circa 1969, the writer Albert Murray paid a visit to his hometown on the Alabama Gulf Coast, to report a story for Harpers. Murray hadnt lived there since 1935, the year he left for college. During his childhood, elements of heavy industrysawmills, paper mills, an oil refineryhad always coexisted with wilderness, in the kind of eerily beautiful landscapes that are found only in bayou country. But as an adult, Murray was aghast to see how much industry had encroached. The fabulous old sawmill-whistle territory, the boy-blue adventure country of his childhood, he wrote, had been overtaken by a massive paper factory: a storybook dragon disguised as a wide-sprawling, foul-smelling, smoke-chugging factory. He imagined that the people who had died during his years away had been victims of dragon claws.

When Murray made this visit, he was in his early fifties and and was still at the beginning of his writing career. He hadnt yet published a book. But over the next several decades, he would go on to write prodigiously, channeling into singular prose his memories of his old neighborhood before the arrival of the dragon.

The resulting work is a bildungsroman that unspools across four novels: Train Whistle Guitar (1974), The Spyglass Tree (1991), The Seven League Boots (1996), and The Magic Keys (2005). All four were reissued by the Library of America in 2018 (following a 2016 edition of Murrays nonfiction). They share certain themes in common with other novels about boyhood, from ...

Praveen Mohan is known for his groundbreaking research on ancient history, archeology, and extraterrestrial theory. Traveling widely around the world, his initial work on ancient mysteries began in Peru, posting his findings online about Nazca lines and Machu Picchu. In the first half of 2014, he began posting videos about ancient megalithic structures of India. His YouTube videos about Ellora caves and ancient machining technology have been aired on TV shows and documentaries. His findings are radical and show deep insight into understanding ancient texts and symbology. He recently discovered India's oldest sundial, explaining how to decode Hindu symbols step by step. In September 2016, he made his first appearance at Ancient Aliens TV Show on the history channel. Even though his footage has been widely used before on many TV shows and documentaries, this was the first time he personally appeared on air. Praveen keeps his personal life secretive, never discussing it on camera. On Ancient Aliens show however, he revealed that he grew up in a strict Hindu family, which helped him to read Indian scriptures extensively. During his interview with Author Ed Grondine, Ed revealed that Praveen's hometown was Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Little is known about how he manages to travel around the world independently. Even though he replies to most of his fans, he never reveals anything about his personal life. In October 2016, Praveen revealed that he was doing a long-term expedition in India exploring ancient structures, and showed a glimpse of remote caves which have not been visited in the last few centuries. After 6 months of inactivity, he has begun posting new videos, revealing many startling secrets hidden in Indian temples and caves. He has also raised awareness about unprotected ancient temples and has asked people to come forward to help them get protected. Losses Dominate Crypto Over The Weekend, Has The Bear Market Returned? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

<p class="p2">The crypto market was hit hard during the weekend as prices from Bitcoin to altcoins fell rapidly. During this time, there was also a decline in the trading volume and momentum in the market, which was partly responsible for the losses recorded. Now, with the new week, there is still a lot of skepticism in the market as Bitcoins decline below $30,000 could mean that the bear market is back in full force.</p> <h2 class="p2">Crypto Fear & Greed Index Remains Neutral

One thing that highlights how investors are feeling when it comes to the market is the Crypto Fear & Greed Index. This index takes into account things such as social media sentiment, market momentum, volatility, etc, and with this, it provides a score based on a 1-100 scale.

Now, on this index, 1-25 marks extreme fear, which is when investors are very wary of the market. 26-50 is the fear territory but with less wariness from investors. 51-75 is greed, a region that shows investors are more likely to invest in the market. And finally, 76-100 is extreme greed when the euphoria is the highest in the market, usually seen in bull markets.

However, the 48-52 levels are usually reserved for the neutral level which is where the index currently sits. At this level, investors are usually reeling from a price surge or crash, and it shows an unwillingness to make any further moves until there is a better-defined movement in the market.</p> <p><img alt="Crypto Fear & Greed Index" class= "size-medium wp-image-528310 aligncenter" height="140" src= "https://www.newsbtc.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Screenshot-2023-04-24-at-13.02.05-460x140.png" width="460"></p> <p class="p2">If the index continues to maintain its neutral territory, then the crypto market may see prices consolidate for a while until investors are confident enough again to start getting back into the market.</p> <h2 class="p2">Could The Bear Market Be In Full Bloom?</h2> <p class="p2">Presently, the crypto market is still seeing sideways movement rather than a definite upward or downward movement. Shiba Inu (SHIB) Price Faces Make-Or-Break Moment "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The deep correction in the crypto market, led by the collapse of the Bitcoin price, has pushed the Shiba Inu (SHIB) price back into bearish territory. From a technical point of view, new bull moves are far away at the moment; before that, an make-or-break price level has to be defended and a resistance level that has manifested itself since the beginning of March has to be broken.

Shiba Inu Price At Pivotal Point

But first things first. A look at the 1-day chart of Shiba Inu shows that the price has fallen to the edge of the key support level. At press time, SHIB was trading at $0.00001021, slightly above key support at $0.00001005.

As recently as early last week, a bullish picture was evolving for Shiba Inu. The price formed an ascending triangle on the 1-day chart, which is one of the continuation patterns and thus opened the chance for a more than 50% rise within the next weeks.

However, due to the market-wide downturn, SHIB broke the ascending triangle to the downside. The pattern was invalidated, so that the Shiba Inu price is now stuck again in the range between $0.00001005 and $0.00001151.

If the bulls fail to defend the range, a fall to $0.00000965 would be the most likely scenario before SHIB could possibly drop to the price level at $0.00000855. A breakdown below the trading range would be a clear break with the trend.

Holding the support is of utmost importance to start a new run towards the range high at $0.00001155.

Shiba Inu price

A look at the 1-hour chart reveals that SHIB is showing slight signs of recovery. The price has initially formed a falling trend line which was broken at press time. This was followed by a re-test that is currently underway. SHIB now needs to show a significant move to the upside; at best a bounce and break above the $0.00001080 price level.

The Art Of The Orange Pill: Lessons On Pitching Bitcoin From A Third-Generation Salesman "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

A former sales account manager describes pitching Bitcoin with a focus on influencing perspectives while maintaining honesty and integrity.

This is an opinion editorial by Source Node, a former sales account manager with a background in training and industrial-organizational psychology.

When I pitch Bitcoin to a relative, to a friend or to a complete stranger in the bathroom stall next to me, they will inevitably ask, "How is this benefiting you? Are you going to make money from me buying bitcoin?"

In one sense, the honest answer is yes, but my main objective is actually to alleviate suffering.

Will any single investor buying bitcoin make my bitcoin increase in value? Not unless I'm convincing a hyper-rich communist sympathizer like Charlie Munger to hop onboard. The average investor buying $1,000-worth of BTC is not going to change the price of bitcoin. In fact, even a very wealthy investor allocating $100 million may not significantly change the price of bitcoin. In that sense, I am not benefiting directly from convincing individuals to buy bitcoin at all.

However, given the early stage of adoption that we are currently experiencing, the asymmetric upside of investing in bitcoin today has the potential to turn a relatively-small investment into life-changing financial security. For this reason, the motivation to pitch Bitcoin to people I care about is greater now than it will be in the future. The potential future which Bitcoin enables for myself and for society is the primary driving force behind my participation in the network. The prospect of living in a world of abundance, voluntary behavior and geopolitical cooperation is becoming more achievable by the block. I wish to benefit from the transition to that world and I wish for those whom I love (as well as random strangers I encounter) to benefit from it as well.

I know I am not the only one who holds this view. It seems to be a natural inclination for nearly every Bitcoiner to compulsively pitch Bitcoin to their friends, relatives and acquaintances. Unfortunately, I have seen many people become exhausted with these pitches. This exhaustion seems to slow down adoption more than support it, which indicates to me that some of what I have...

A Seized Bitcoin Stack Could Be Bulgaria's Golden Ticket "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

After seizing 213,000 bitcoin in 2017, Bulgaria now has an opportunity to become one of the wealthiest countries on earth.

This is an opinion editorial by Ahmed Botan, a marketing professional with a focus on Bitcoin-based projects.

Bulgaria, a small country located in Southeast Europe, nestled between Romania and Greece, is set to become one of the wealthiest countries in the world.

The reason for this is its possession of 213,000 bitcoin, which its authorities seized from a group they labeled as criminals in 2017. According to the South East European Law Enforcement Center (SELC), the group hacked the Bulgarian customs agencys computers and made changes to the system so that their partner companies could import goods while avoiding paying taxes on them.

Immediately following the crackdown, the bitcoin seized was worth about $500,000, however, it would now be worth closer to $6 billion dollars, as of April 2023. While the details around the BTC seizure are unclear, and it is not totally clear whether the country still holds that bitcoin or what it plans to do with the stack if it does, the potential of a nation like Bulgaria holding this much BTC is worth exploring.

As the value of bitcoin is, in the view of many, set to go up a lot higher still in the coming years, Bulgaria could stand to become very wealthy.

The Rising Price Of Bulgarias Bitcoin

While the future price of bitcoin is impossible to predict, there are some prominent examples of experts explaining why they are confident Bulgarias bitcoin holdings will grow exponentially in value.

Jesse Meyers, the COO of Onramp Bitcoin who holds an MBA from Stanford University, has predicted that the bitcoin price will hit $10 million in the coming decades. Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood has predicted bitcoin will reach $1 million by 2030 in a bullish scenario. Similarly, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMex believes that bitcoin could hit $1 million by 2026.

Most recently, the former CTO of Coinbase,...

Whats Behind The Recent Bitcoin Drop? Heres What On-Chain Data Says "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Bitcoin on-chain data hints that selling from the miners may have been behind the latest plunge in the assets price below the $28,000 mark.

Bitcoin Miners Have Shown Signs Of Selling Recently

As pointed out by an analyst in a CryptoQuant post, miners had been putting on some selling pressure on Bitcoin while the decline had happened. A relevant indicator here is the miner netflow, which measures the net amount of Bitcoin entering into or exiting the wallets of all miners.

When this metric has a positive value, it means a net number of coins is being transferred into the wallets of miners right now. Such a trend implies that these chain validators are accumulating currently, which is naturally something that could be bullish for the price.

On the other hand, negative values suggest miners are transferring some BTC out of their holdings at the moment. Usually, miners transfer out their coins whenever they want to sell them. Hence, negative netflow values can have bearish consequences for the asset.

Now, here is a chart that shows the trend in the 30-day simple moving average (SMA) Bitcoin miner netflow over the past week or so:

Bitcoin Miner Netflow

As displayed in the above graph, the 30-day SMA Bitcoin miner netflow registered a very sharp red spike when the cryptocurrencys price was in the middle of its decline a few days ago.

BTC was just above $28,000 when this spike came, but the asset rapidly plummeted to the low $27,000 level following it. The timing of these large net outflows taking place from the miners may be a sign that it was this cohorts selling that at least partially contributed to the coins drawdown.

The chart for the 30-day exponential moving average (EMA) Bitcoin miner reserve, a metric that measures the total amount of BTC all miners are holding right now, also shows this spike:

Bitcoin Miner Reserve

This plummet in the Bitcoin miner reserve from a few days ago naturally makes sense, as the netflow is nothing but a measure of the changes taking place in this metric. From the chart, its visible that while the outflows may have bee...

These Top 5 Cryptos Open The Week With Big Losses Will They Drop Lower? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

After weeks of gains, the crypto market finally succumbed to the bears. According to CoinMarketCap, the total market cap of cryptos is at $1.12 trillion, a measly 0.22% increase from yesterday. Since the start of the week, the metric has gone down by 9%.

This was largely caused by economic woes that plagued US equity markets. With stocks also experiencing meager gains, these cryptocurrencies are to be avoided, if you are an investor, as they bled the hardest as major cryptos dropped in value.

As the markets continue to bleed, will these cryptos drop even lower?

Top 5 Cryptos Usher In The Week With Losses

CFX

As Ethereum experiences the biggest drop compared to its Bitcoin peer, Conflux followed the top altcoin in the market closely. According to CoinGecko, the token is down 23% since the past week, signaling to investors CFXs losing week.

Investors should be cautious of a bearish breakthrough on $0.2847 as it could bring the token back $0.1471. However, the bearish scenario might turn into a reality as CoinGlass data points to a robust bearish presence in the market.

ARB

As of writing, ARB is down nearly 21% in the same timeframe. Investors on the token are closely following the sentiment around Bitcoin and Ethereum, and with the two biggest cryptos experiencing pain, ARB is experiencing a magnified bearish sentiment.

Investors and traders on ARB should be cautious about putting more money on the token. At press time, ARBs current trajectory puts it on the path back toward $1.1930. If this comes to fruition, ARB bulls are left to defend this crucial support.

APT

Even with development strongly favoring Aptos continues, the token is not fairing well amid a bearish takeover. According to CoinGecko, APT itself is down nearly 20% in the weekly timeframe.

Co-founders of on-chain analytics solution Glassnode, Jan Happel and Yann Allemann, agree that the bulls remain in control, but need to slowly turn the tide. Bitcoins long-term uptrend is intact, they write, but point to weakened momentum due to low trading volume.

As Bitcoin currently hovers near support levels, smaller fluctuations of +/- $1k are anticipated, while moves between $27.5k and $32k would still be within the normal range as shown by the weekly volatility bands.

Bitcoin volatility bands

However, the analysts expect some wicks to the downside. In case of a sustained downside break, the next support area would be at $25,500 to $26,000 . But according to the analysts, the risk is rather low.

The Bitcoin risk signal is at 0 and looks a bit shaky in the short term despite the recent volatility, but is not indicating any panic selling. The Fear and Greed Index has pulled back from the greed zone to a neutral position at 52 points. Moreover, the analysts argue for a healthy correction in the market:

The current market environment, characterized by unrealized profits outpacing unrealized losses (see NUPL on glassnode), implies optimism in the medium and long term.

Of the original members of the Stooges, only Iggy Pop still lives. He has by now survived a great many other cultural figures who came up from the underground and into prominence through rock music in the nineteen-seventies. And not only is he still alive, hes still putting out albums: his most recent, Every Loser, came out just this past January. It followed Free, from 2019, which includes his reading of Dylan Thomas Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night an idea, Amanda Petrusich notes in a contemporary New Yorker profile, that came after an advertising agency asked him to read the poem for a commercial voice-over.

At first, I resisted, Pop says to Petrusich. Im not in junior high. Indeed, as a vehicle for the expression of ones own worldview, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night feels about one rung up from The Road Not Taken.

He Embarrassed His Brother-In-Law During A Big Moment. Was He Wrong? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

I think there are so many people who post in this subreddit who are obviously terrible partners that coming across one who is actually standing up for theirs is nice.

That doesnt mean OP isnt an a$$hole, though, so lets read the whole story before we give a final verdict, hmm?

He starts out by complimenting his girlfriend on the housewarming party she put together, acknowledging how much work she put into it and saying he was proud of her.

My girlfriend just bought a house and is so excited. She invited a ton of people over for a housewarming.

She put so much work into everything. The house looked amazing, and the food was delicious.

Then his brother-in-law started to propose which OP put a stop to, since it was supposed to be his girlfriends special event.

Right after dinner, while my girlfriend was getting dessert, her brother proposed to his girlfriend. I was mad because he hijacked my girlfriends event that she worked so hard for.

Before she could answer I told him to sit down and quit being so rude and disrespectful to his sister. He was mad, but his girlfriend looked so embarrassed.

The brother and his not-quite-future-wife left early, hes mad, the mother-in-law is mad, and the girlfriend said maybe he should have just let it go.

They ended up leaving.

The party was very awkward after that. A lot of people left early. My girlfriends mom was furious at me, because she wanted her son to stop living in sin and I ruined it.

My girlfriend said I was sweet but didnt need to do that. Her brother texted me calling me a prick.

Was I an a$$hole for telling them to have some class?

OP isnt sure, though so lets let Reddit weigh in!

The top comment agrees that hija...

The power of cartoons at IJF23 "IndyWatch Feed Comics"

Last week, we (in the form of CM editors Tjeerd Royaards and Emanuele Del Rosso) were at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia to give a workshop about the power of cartoons. If you weren't there and didn't watch the livestream, you can watch the recording of the event:

In true workshop style, we didn't just talk about cartoons, but we challenged the audience to make a cartoon themselves. We gave them the assignment to come up with a cartoon featuring Putin and a tank, giving pointers on how to come up with the best visual.

Loopring (LRC) Slides 20% In 5 Days Despite NFT Red Packet 2.0 Launch "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Loopring (LRC) prices remain under pressure, dropping roughly 20% days after announcing the launch of non-fungible token (NFT) Red Packet 2.0.

Loopring Announces Red Packet 2.0

Loopring, a layer-2 decentralized exchange using zkRollups on Ethereum allowing traders to exchange assets, said NFT Red Packet 2.0, currently available on their Loopring Smart Wallet and the web app, let users transfer ERC-20 tokens and NFTs adapted to the ERC-1155 standard.

Unlike the popular ERC-721 standard for building NFTs, the semi-fungible tokens and ordinary NFTs.

Loopring developers started building Red Packets in 2021. However, developers expanded on traditional Red Packets creation when they also announced Blind Red Packets on April 20.

Using this solution, users can only unveil the content of the packet after a given period.

Supporters claim Red Packets will change the economics of NFTs and drive mainstream adoption while opening up more possibilities, especially in gaming, ticketing, and more, primarily because of the cost involved.

Unlike transacting on the Ethereum mainnet, using layer-2 platforms for trading or asset transfer is relatively cheap.

Users can securely send assets, including tokens and NFTs, off-chain while avoiding the high fees. However, they still are secured by the Ethereum mainnet.

As an illustration, users on the mainnet have to pay $43.83 when writing on April 23. Meanwhile, based on L2Fees data, sending ETH on Loopring costs $0.06.

Because of this allowance, users can pack thousands of NFTs on Looprings Blind Red Packets and gift them to users without having to pay high fees. It is an addition that the Loopring community has positively received, but that has not prevented prices from edging lower, as visible in the daily chart.

LRC Drops 20% In 5 Days

LRC is trading at $0.338, down 20% from April highs, and is underperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum in the past 24 hours.

ADA Price (Cardano) Close Below $0.38 Could Spark Larger Degree Correction "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Cardanos price started a fresh decline from the $0.460 resistance. ADA could decline further if there is a clear move below the $0.38 support.

  • ADA price declined heavily from the $0.460 resistance against the US dollar.
  • The price is trading below $0.400 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours).
  • There was a break below a key bullish trend line with support near $0.4150 on the 4-hour chart of the ADA/USD pair (data source from Kraken).
  • The pair could start a recovery wave if it clears the $0.400 resistance zone.

Cardanos ADA Price Revisits Key Support

After a decent increase, Cardanos price faced resistance near the $0.460 zone. The price faced an increase in selling pressure and started a fresh decline below $0.420, similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

There was a clear move below the $0.40 support zone. Besides, there was a break below a key bullish trend line with support near $0.4150 on the 4-hour chart of the ADA/USD pair. The pair even tested the $0.380 support zone.

A low is formed near $0.3803 and the price is now consolidating losses. It is trading below $0.400 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours). On the upside, immediate resistance is near the $0.400 zone. It is near the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the main decline from the $0.4616 swing high to the 0.3803 low.

The next major resistance is forming near the $0.410 zone or the 100 simple moving average (4 hours). If there is an upside break above the $0.400 and $0.410 resistance levels, the price could start a decent increase.

MATIC Below Key Support Levels: Whats Next? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

MATIC had been consolidating between $1.4 and $1.8 until it faced bearish pressure and declined. Over the last week, it depreciated nearly 16%, with a 6% dip on the daily chart. The technical outlook indicated bearish price action, with a drop in demand and accumulation.

Major altcoins also struggled to surpass their resistance levels as Bitcoin corrected itself. MATIC is currently stable on its local support line, but it broke two crucial price floors, suggesting that bears could dominate upcoming trading sessions.

A further round of bearish pressure could cause bears to take over entirely, causing MATIC to fall through its local support line. On the daily chart, the altcoins market capitalization indicated a negative change, implying that sellers were taking control.

MATIC Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

MATIC

The altcoin had struggled to maintain its value above $1 and dropped to $0.98. The overhead resistance of MATIC was $1.02, but due to a consistent decrease in demand, buyers lost confidence in the asset. If the price can break above the $1.02 resistance level, it may reach $1.06 and recover the bullish momentum.

However, if the price falls below $0.98, the local support line is at $0.96, and if the altcoins value drops further, it may break through the support line and trade around $0.90 before seeing any recovery. The last session showed a red volume bar, suggesting a decline in buying pressure on the daily chart.

Should This Woman Reimburse Her Nanny For Funds Spent Without Asking? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

I think that one of the things most humans spend a lifetime figuring out is how to successfully navigate relationships with other humans. Whether theyre family, friends, romantic, or otherwise, it can be tough knowing the correct way to respond in so many different scenarios.

This woman, who has a nanny due to state assistance for her autistic daughter, is struggling with how to handle unexpected money issues.

Her daughter and nanny share a love for thrifting, and as her daughter also loves old Star Trek books, the two of them often pick up cheap old paperbacks while out on their adventures.

My daughter, Ruby, is 12. Recently, she has gotten into the original Star Trek show, as well as the Next Generation. Ruby is also a big reader and has started to collect a few of the old Star Trek books that she finds in used bookstores and thrift stores. These books usually cost anywhere from 50 cents to a couple of dollars.

My nanny, Tessa (f22), hangs out with Ruby most days after she gets out of school. Tessa has been our nanny for over a year now and she and Ruby get along great. Tessa is big into to thrifting and will often keep an eye out for the books Ruby wants. This is not typically a problem and Ruby always pays Tessa back for the books using her allowance.

Recently, the nanny went on vacation and texted the daughter to say shed found some of the books she likes and asked if she wanted them. She said yes, but when the nanny returned to say the books cost $50, no one had the money to pay her back.

The problem occurred when Tessa went on a family vacation out west. Apparently she went thrifting during this trip and found some books for Ruby. She texted Ruby asking her if she wanted the books and Ruby said yes.

Well Tessa returned yesterday with a stack of about 35 books and told Ruby they cost...

Ethereum Price Vulnerable To More Losses If It Stays Below $1,920 "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Ethereum price extended its decline below $1,920 against the US Dollar. ETH could continue to move down if it breaks the $1,820 support zone.

  • Ethereum traded further lower below the $1,920 support.
  • The price is trading below $1,920 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average.
  • There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $1,860 on the hourly chart of ETH/USD (data feed via Kraken).
  • The pair could start a decent increase if it clears the $1,920 and $1,975 levels.

Ethereum Price Turns Red

Ethereums price gained bearish momentum after it settled below the $2,000 support. ETH extended its decline below the $1,950 and $1,920 support levels, similar to Bitcoin.

The bears even pushed the price below the $1,880 support. A low is formed near $1,827 and the price is now consolidating losses. Ether is now trading below $1,920 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average. Recently, there was a minor increase above $1,850. There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $1,860 on the hourly chart of ETH/USD.

Immediate resistance is near the $1,900 zone. It is close to the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the main drop from the $2,125 swing high to the $1,827 low. The next major resistance is near $1,920.

An upside break above $1,920 might send Ethereum toward $1,975 or the 50% Fib retracement level of the main drop from the $2,125 swing high to the $1,827 low. The next major resistance is near the $2,000 zone, above which the price may start a decent increase.

Nikkis Weekly Tarot Reading: April 24-30, 2023 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The cards pictured are from the Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck.

Ace of Wands and Five of Wands

Our first card this week is the Ace of Wands, it is all about connecting to what makes us feel passionate and alive. Wands are about purpose, fire, and spirituality. As an Ace, it has all the potency of every Wands card in one. It calls us to connect to what makes us ignited.

The Ace card challenges us to look for hope and positivity. It asks us to see the best in a situation, while our mind might be thinking the worst. Even when we go through the darkest times, it wants us to remember that others are carrying burdens as well, and we can still choose kindness.

The Ace of Wands allows us to connect with the light inside our hearts and see the light around us. We are able to connect to our true essence, the part that animates us and lives beyond our physical form.

We are all doing the best we can at any given moment. The more loving we can be, the better we will feel, and the more our core essence can come through and shine the way.

Use the Ace of Wands to amplify your kindness of spirit and connect to your purpose. Sync up with its energy to find the way to your personal path through love and grace.

Through the vibration of this card, we are also called to break out of normal routines and do things that remind us of our fire. Perform an act of care for a stranger, visit a place you have never been before, or take a risk thats been on your mind.

Anything that sparks your fire will help you connect to the Ace of Wands. How can you use this energy to align with your purpose? How can you step out of your comfort zone? How can you take the time to listen to your heart?

These questions will help us tap into the Aces vibrations while our next card will help us to know ourselves deeper and get clear about what we need to release.

The Five of Wands accompanies the Ace to help us understand how to create change in our world. It asks us to listen to messages inside, even the ones that harbor feelings of negativity or resentment. We are being called to investigate what makes us irritable, uncomfortable, or puts us in a bad place.

This card wants us to be mindful of the things that test our patience. We are to notice what rubs us the wrong way, especially when it comes to our relationships. It wants us to question these things and see if there is another way.

Do we have to be around the person that irritates us? Do we have to do the tasks that weigh us down? Is this the right environment for us? Can we make changes?

Through the Five of Wands, we slow down and investigate our world. We examine the things we do throughout our day and what feelings they bring up. We step out of autopilot and explore the opportunities.

Through this awareness, we find we have the agency to create...

If Youre Looking For Relationship Green Flags, Here Are Some You Cant Miss "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Everyone wants to talk about relationship red flags you know, those things you want to avoid when looking for a healthy, long-term relationship.

What about the things you should want to see when first dating someone new? Those are important too, though perhaps a bit harder to define.

If youre wondering what should be a green light, these people have some really clever ideas!

You can laugh about it.

Able to forgive mistakes. Early in our relationship I accidentally backed my car into my Fiances car while coming out of the driveway. I definitely did damage. I immediately started freaking out and crying and he just calmly got out of his car, came up to mine and asked if I was okay.

He got me to calm down and said it was fine it was just an accident. He never made me feel bad about it. He called it our little bump to my friends to minimize my embarrassment.

We laugh about it to this day. (Sidenote his dad who works with cars fixed his car for him at no cost)

Emotional maturity.

Willingness to forgive you when you make a mistake/speak in anger/etc rather than hold a grudge or try to punish you. (Doesnt mean they wont be still be upset of course.)

Willingness to admit fault and take responsibility when they make a mistake/speak in anger/etc and work on their own negative behaviors. Related: taking you seriously when something upsets you even if it doesnt seem like a big deal from their perspective.

Not losing their temper when things dont go their way. Example: do you want to be with someone who blows up when the car breaks down on a road trip and makes everyone else miserable or the person who calmly calls the repair...

Russians are also dying suddenly "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

BY EDWARD SLAVSQUAT,

Russian activists document "sudden deaths" among young athletes.

Since the start of the global genetic injection campaign in 2021, media reports detailing the sudden deaths of athletes have gradually become part of the new normal. Its a worldwide phenomenonand Russia is no exception, according to #HowManyMustDie, a collaborative project launched by STOPVACZISMSTOPPANIKA, and Anna Rudnevas Raising Awareness channel. On April 3, the group published a list of young Russian athletes who had died suddenly:
Many are very young18, 19, 21 years old. In some cases, the press openly wrote that the deceased were vaccinated, and suspected a causal relationship between vaccination and death. In many cases, there is no information about vaccination, but it is known that almost all professions were subjected to coercion, and athletes also needed it to travel abroad.
Without more information (which the Russian Health Ministry refuses to provide, because, in their own words, transparency may cause a negative attitude towards vaccination), none of the listed cases could be described as conclusive. But several are extremely difficult to dismiss. Victor Plahuta, a 35-year-old powerlifter, was hosp...

De Growth Movement the Leftist Strategy "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Image result for De Growth scheme

For some time now the intentional throttling down of US industry and output has been the weapon of choice for those who want to impose Marxist destruction of America whether it be by bureaucratic means or covert crimes. According to mark Levin whos been writing about it in his books for a few years now, a major tool of Communist takeover is destroying the economy of a non-socialist state. This is achieved by establishing agencies that use regulations to over tax or punish corporations discouraging them from building a plant for example in California because in order to meet environmental standards that make the cost an extra billion dollars just to construct a plant. Forget the tax revenue and jobs brought in by the company. This happened in California where Intel was forced to elsewhere in order to build a new plant.

Image result for Major US food processing palnts burning down

Knocking out production

De Growth can be achieved by more brutal and illegal means as well. Since 2019 the US has lost 22 major food processing facilities due to accidental fires! Hmm I wonder if that wasnt intentional arson for political purpose because insurance might pay for the reconstruction of the facility but it wont compensate the company for the loss of revenue. Egg laying operations, chicken processing, butchering plants, and more have been victim to these devastating fires. When that many food processing plants are destroyed in that short amount of time shortages can be possible as recovery of those operations will take perhaps years. During the Covid 19 hoax in California health inspectors automatically shut down one farm after another, one dairy after another, one creamery after another, not because it was necessary merely because they had the power.

Image result for US job loss due to outsourcing

Killing jobs

American corporations have been complicit in this as well outsourcing customer service centers, sending manufacturing jobs to China who holds a huge trade deficit over the US as well as carrying a trillion dollars of US debt paid for in Treasury Bills. De Growth can be achieved in many clandestine ways that will end up leaving a nation dependent upon other countries which can lead to supply crisis and social unrest as weve seen in nations such as Venezuela. De Growth is an excellent way to disrupt the economic market, create job loss, and drain a nation of its reserves as weve seen with Biden draining the emergency pet...

Unlike the majority of forged works in Jolly Redds trove, all of these were the real deal (as far as we know ). Of the 43 pieces in the game, Naidoo has seen 36 so far.

Is a Michelangelo Self-Portrait Hidden In His Famous Fresco? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Comparison between a Michelangelo drawing in the margins of a letter and his depiction of God in the Creation of Adam (images courtesy Adriano Marinazzo)

According to a new theory, Michelangelo may have secretly modeled his portrayal of God after himself in his masterpiece The Creation of Adam. Painted on the ceiling of the Vaticans Sistine Chapel, the iconic fresco is one of the most widely replicated religious artworks of all time. In the legendary work, God is depicted as an elderly, bearded man with his legs crossed and arm outstretched, giving life to Adam, the first man according to The Book of Genesis.

Let Your Heart Be Broken "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

The miracle is that we rise again out of suffering The miracle is that we create ourselves anew.

Let Your Heart Be Broken

We spend our lives trying to anchor our transience in some illusion of permanence and stability. We lay plans, we make vows, we backbone the flow of uncertainty with habits and routines that lull us with the comforting dream of predictability and control, only to find ourselves again and again bent at the knees with surrender to forces and events vastly larger than us. In those moments, kneeling in a pool of the unknown, the heart breaks open and allows life life itself, not the simulacrum of life that comes from control to rush in.

How to live with that generative brokenness is what composer Tina Davidson explores throughout her memoir Let Your Heart Be Broken: Life and Music from a Classical Composer (public library) a lyrical reckoning with what it takes to compose a life of cohesion and beauty out of shattered bits and broken stories.

She recounts attending a talk by Stephen Levine the poet and author best known for his work on death and dying at which an audience member asked what the meaning of life is. Acknowledging the vastness of the question, Levine paused, then offered: I think the meaning of life is to let your heart be broken. Reflecting on his words, Davidson writes:

Let your heart be broken. Allow, expect, look forward to. The life that you have so carefully protected and cared for. Broken, cracked, rent in two. Heartbreakingly, your heart breaks, and in the two halves, rocking on the table, is revealed rich earth. Moist, dark soil, ready for new life to begin.

19th-Century Shipwreck Found Frozen in Time at the Bottom of Lake Huron "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Elusive 19th-Century Ironton Shipwreck Found on Floor of Lake Huron

Early in the morning on September 26, 1894, the crew of the 191-foot Irontona schooner bargewas in a panic. Cut loose from the steamer that had been hauling the boat and its crew through the frigid waters of Lake Huron, the Ironton was out of control. Buoyed by the wind as the crew failed to set the sails properly in the gale, the ship swung off course and collided with another steamer named Ohio. Both ships went down in the resulting collision, adding more vessels to the perilous region known as Shipwreck Alley. There the wreck lay in wait until the news of its recent discovery, in shockingly good condition, was announced.

The Great Lakes are a sight to behold, often surprising for most people who are not familiar with their large waves and vast open waters. The lakes were critical to shipping goods domestically and internationally in the 19th century. Unfortunately, the sheer number of ships traversing certain routes meant a ship out of control could careen into others as the Ironton did. The impact with Ohio punctured the Irontons bow. It began to take on water like the Titanic. Unfortunately, the crew was not able to detach the lifeboat. While two members were able to cling to floating debris once in the water, the captain and four other crew perished. All of Ohios seamen made it safely back to land.

After the sinking, the exact location of the wreck was lost to time. In 2017, research teams encountered Ohio, suggesting its doomed fellow may be nearby. In 2019, efforts of the Ocean Exploration Trust (which found Titanic) and the Thunder Bay National Marine...

Blind and Neurodivergent Teen Leaves Renowned Pianist Speechless With Her Amazing Performance

Lucy, a 13-year-old blind and neurodivergent girl plays the piano, looking like she's enjoying the music she's playing.

UK's Channel 4 recently launched a reality show titled The Piano. It features amateur pianists who are invited to perform on instruments located at major train stationsbut there's a catch. They perform without knowing they are being observed by top pianist Lang Lang and pop singer Mika, or that they've entered a contest to perform at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall. One of the show's most powerful performances was by a blind and neurodivergent 13-year-old girl named Lucy. It left both musicians in awe.

In a video shared on Twitter, the girl sits down at the piano with the help of her teacher Daniel Bath. He later assists her in placing her hands on the keys. He then announces that Lucy will be playing Chopin's Nocturne 1 in B-flat minor (Op. 9, No. 1). This surprises Lang Lang, as he knows this is a technically complex melody. Once in place, Lucy starts performing the song effortlessly and precisely, as she bobbles her head from side to side, truly feeling and enjoying the music she is performing. As bewilder grows across Lang Lang's face, a crowd of commuters gathers around the piano.

It's unbelievable that she can play this piece. How did she study? It's incredible, the famous pianist says. By then, some of the commuters have taken out their phones to record her, with one even wiping away a tear. When she finishes the piece, her hands draw from the piano. As the woman who accompanied Lucy (presumably her mom) informed the reality show host, Lucy likes the applause, but she doesn't like the sounds of people, so she covers her ears for sensory reasons.

As the cheering fades, the show host greets Lucy, who claps once and goes back to covering her ears. In the meantime, Mika gazes at the screen showing the performance with his mouth open, while the famous pianist ex...

Notre-Dame Fire Revealed Cutting-Edge Technology Used to Originally Construct the Church "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Notre-Dame Fire Revealed Cutting-Edge Technology Used to Originally Construct the Church

Notre Dame Cathedral

Photo: Iakov/Depositphotos

There's one positive byproduct of the devastating 2019 fire that ravaged Paris' Notre-Dame Cathedral. It's given experts the unique opportunity to study how the Gothic church was constructed. As renovation efforts began, it was revealed that enormous iron staples had been used all over the building to hold its heavy stonework together. The discovery answers some questions about the innovative technology used to construct what was, at the time, the tallest building in the world.

The staples each weigh between 4.4 and 8.8 pounds and span nearly 20 inches. Scholar Maxime LHritier from Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis and his colleagues found thousands of iron staples on the floor and walls which were only made evident once the church's framework disappeared in the fire. Radiocarbon dating confirmed that the ironwork belonged to the earliest building stages, making Notre-Dame a cutting-edge construction site.

The use of lightweight iron, as opposed to the heavy stonework of Roman buildings, allowed for the tall and airy feel that is characteristic of Gothic architecture. Compared to other cathedrals, such as Reims, the structure of Notre-Dame in Paris is light and elegant, shared art historian Jennifer Feltman. Feltman was not involved in the study, but is an Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Alabama and specializes in Medieval art.  This study confirms that use of iron made this lighter structure at Paris possible and thus the use of this material was crucial to the design of the first Gothic architect of Notre-Dame.

Given that the restoration is moving ahead at a rapid pace, the information couldn't come at...

Avalanche Struggles Under $18 More Losses Seem Likely "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Over the last few days, Avalanche has experienced significant losses, plunging by almost 20%. On a weekly timeframe, AVAX has lost 10% of its market value. Although the daily timeframe indicates that AVAX has made a slight upward movement on its chart, with an appreciation of 1.6%, the technical outlook for Avalanche remains bearish.

Buyers have been cautious about price movements while sellers have dominated the market, leading to a decrease in both demand and accumulation on the daily chart. In order for the Avalanche price to experience some relief, it needs to break above the $18 mark.

However, the $17 price level has acted as a supply zone for the altcoin. If bulls cannot defend the current price mark of the altcoin, the bears may take full control of the assets price.

Similar to other prominent altcoins, major market movers have been struggling to break their crucial resistance levels. The decline in AVAXs market capitalization indicates a decrease in buying pressure in the market.

Avalanche Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

Avalanche

At the time of writing, AVAX was priced at $17.17. The immediate resistance for the altcoin was at $18, and if breached, could lead to a push towards $19, thereby strengthening the bulls.

However, if Avalanche continued to trade sideways, a fall below the $17 level was expected. In such a case, the next support level for the asset was $15.

The altcoins recovery was dependent on buyers stepping in to push its price above the $18 mark. The recent amount of AVAX traded was red, which suggested an increase in selling pressure in the market.

Caught Being Good "IndyWatch Feed Health"

One of Ronans siblings and I were recently at the childrens hospital Ronan usually goes to.  Grateful to be familiar with the location, the pre-screenings, the intake process, and that hospital system in general, I looked forward to the appointment.  Since I had no idea yet what I was going to write about for this weekends post, I was happy about the chance to be there.  I thought for sure Id be able to catch someone doing something that might make for good content.  Initially, I was expecting that content to be on the scandalous end; but all I found were good things.

Color me shocked and very apologetic for assuming the worst!

From start to finish, our visit there was a decent visit.  The only cringy part was when the specialists office sent the pre-screening electronically.  I could, of course, ask to have a printed copy, but I was curious which questions would be asked, so I opted to fill it out in the patient portal.

I saw the usual questions basic demographics, current symptoms, history of past medical problems, and covid status.  Keeping things as basic as I could, I clicked only the boxes that absolutely needed to be checked.  For the covid questions, I was glad to see that they were incredibly vague meaning, no need to divulge vaccination status.

In completing the form ahead of time, we were checked in for the appointment and could walk straight to the specialty clinic when we arrived Friday afternoon.  So, we did.

We walked in without masks.

We walked in without having to get our temperature checked.

We walked in without having to declare where wed traveled or if wed been in contact with anyone who was sick.

We walked in without having to check in at the hospitality desk.  In bypassing that step, we could quickly hop on an elevator as if it was 2019.

Smiling as the elevator door closed, I couldnt believe how relaxed everything was!  It wasnt like that two months ago when Ronan was the patient there.  Everyone was still in masks that day.  That is everyone was in masks except us and two couples.

That day, Ronan, my husband, and I had to go from one end of the hospital complex to the other.  Weaving through two buildings, over several pedestrian causeways, in and out of s...

Wood Arc Sculpture by Raffaele Salvoldi

Many of us remember playing with some sort of building blocks growing up. While the plastic LEGO bricks might be the most well-known, Dutch brand KAPLA has been producing chunky wooden planks since the 1960s. Italian artist Raffaele Salvoldi began using this nostalgic childhood activity during the COVID-19 pandemic. This pastime quickly blossomed into an ongoing project titled Wood Arc, in which he constructs enormous towers entirely from KAPLA blocks.

From far away, these massive structures may seem like they are made from woven rattan or a similar process, but they are actually a result of Salvoldi's meticulous process. He takes his time adding each individual block to slowly create buildings that spiral, twist, and loom in historic spaces. So, it's no surprise that each of these sculptures requires at least three weeks of building time, which sometimes stretches to four months depending on the complexity of the design.

Wood Arc is not solely about the wooden structures but also about how these works interact with their environment. Salvoldi installs each one in a space that is full of history and culture. Europe is rich in places of incredible beauty: palaces, exhibition spaces, and historical houses. Some are famous and often used, others are...

When The Student Is Ready: Three Times I Was Able To Help Strangers Understand Bitcoin "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

An educator recalls three times she was able to help strangers better understand Bitcoin out in the wild.

This is an opinion editorial by Tali Lindberg, co-founder of Free Market Kids, a company focused on financial literacy and Bitcoin education.

Source: Author

My husband and I decided to become Bitcoin educators because we passionately believe that Bitcoin is a money standard everyone should know about. However, it can be very discouraging sometimes when most people see us as religious, cult evangelists who they should avoid or only politely tolerate.

But then, out of the blue, Ill experience amazing conversations with people who are ready to hear what we have to say. They are just waiting to find someone to discuss Bitcoin who can help them understand it better.

This article describes three such encounters Ive had in unexpected places. As the saying goes, (slightly modified), When the student is ready, the teacher (me) will be sent to them.

One: GoDaddy Tech Support

A few months ago, when my husband Scott and I were just starting our financial-literacy- and Bitcoin-focused organization Free Market Kids, we had a lot of trouble getting our website to work correctly. I spent hours with tech support through various service providers. During this incident, I called GoDaddy support and was instructed to reboot my computer.

While we were waiting for the computer to do its thing, instead of sitting on the line in silence, I began to chit chat with the support guy about where he was located, the weather, etc. Pretty soon, we were asking each other about our work and life experiences.

He asked, So, what is Free Market Kids?

Whats Next For Ethereum Price As It Drops Below $2,000? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The price of Ethereum has fallen below $1,900, dropping from the $2,000 mark that was previously held by bulls. This has led to another sell-off and the bearish influence remains strong despite attempts at recovery.

In the last 24 hours, Ethereum has risen by only 1.2%, but on the weekly chart, the altcoin has seen a significant drop of over 10%. The technical outlook for Ethereum is also in favor of the bears, as demand and accumulation for the altcoin have decreased. In order for Ethereum to make a recovery, it is crucial for it to breach the immediate resistance strength from buyers.

Despite this, most altcoins, including Ethereum, have remained bullish on the higher time-frame structure. However, bulls must defend the following support line or supply zone for Ethereum to start its recovery.

With Bitcoin struggling under the $30,000 price mark, many altcoins are also experiencing difficulty in breaking through their immediate price ceilings. On the one-day chart, the decline in the market capitalization of Ethereum indicates a decrease in buyers.

Ethereum Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

Ethereum

At the time of writing, ETH was valued at $1,880, having fallen below its bearish block ranging from $1,900 to $2,000. This drop in price is likely due to a routine price pullback, as Ethereum had traded above the $2,025 price mark after approximately eight months. However, as selling pressure increased, the bears have taken control.

The immediate overhead resistance for the altcoin is $1,910. A move above this level could potentially push ETH to touch $1,950, which may help to facilitate a price recovery. Conversely, the support levels for ETH are currently at $1,840 and $1,820.

During the previous session, the amount of ETH traded was in the red, indicating an increase in selling pressure.

The Power of Gratitude: including 4 Levels of Gratitude Consciousness "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The regular expression of gratitude is a powerful practice on the spiritual path, that can spur growth and self-actualisation. It can lead to the manifestation of more soul-reflective and harmonious landscapes around you. However, if done in the wrong way, it can lead to self-denial and derailment, where you can actually block karma needing to activate, or where you're not truly confronting reality the way it genuinely is. So how do we get it right and harness the practice for maximum beneficial effect in our lives?

Exploring Genuine Gratitude

When you're in a position to be able to truly embody gratitude for key aspects of your life, and crucially, who you are, then you're establishing an inner consciousness orientation (much deeper than a mindset) that of itself, is positively expecting the universe to shape and create for you. This orientation itself will shape reality around you in the most harmonious and positive of ways. It's because you're already informing the field that you expect benevolence to happen. And so it does. The approach of gratitude practice is a well known theme in the spiritual mainstream. But there is a crucial problem with how it is often applied. How so?
On the path, challenging and difficult times are going to happen. Your karma will generate all manner of reactive and derailing experiences to embrace and work through. These situations are not meant to be pleasant, but a means to regress into past-life trauma and reclaim soul in the situations - by becoming the One in them, you retrieve the fragment of soul that was stuck there. This is how we evolve and grow.
This "reframing" requires that you own and express the original conditions of the karma - so that you become intimate with the situation and especially your original reactivity. Then you come to illuminate and realise the attachment to needing reality to go a certain way, or to be a certain way. To be clear, the One in you can accept all situations without needing to change them or for them to go away. Paradoxically, when you can do this, the soul will reintegrate and you're liberated from the situation....

PepeCoin (PEPE) Rallies By 42% As Interest In Memecoins Rises "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

PepeCoin (PEPE), a newly launched memecoin, has been a focal point of investors interest in the last few days due to its massive market gains. In a crypto market that is generally bleeding red, PepeCoin, along with a host of other memecoins, has been quite profitable for investors.

PEPE Gains 42% In 24 Hours

According to data from CoinMarketCap, PEPEs market price has increased by 42.03% in the last day, making it one of the biggest gainers in the crypto space. More interestingly, PEPE has gained over 528.17% following its launch on Monday, April 17.

As earlier stated, PepeCoin (PEPE) is a memecoin; however, it differs from most popular memecoins as it was inspired by the cartoon character Pepe the Frog rather than the Shiba Inu dog. According to the bio on its official Twitter handle, PEPE is described as the most memeable memecoin in existence by its developers.

Interest quickly grew around PEPE following a high-profile purchase that saw an investor reap nearly 4,500 times his initial investment.

Barely days after purchasing 5.9 trillion PEPE tokens with 0.125 ETH, valued at $250, this memecoin investor saw his investment surge to a peak value of $1.8 million. As expected, this led to a massive influx of investors into the PEPE market as everyone is seeking to make a quick profit.

However, there is still much concern about PEPE, as with all memecoins. For PepeCoin, its major concerns center on the currently low liquidity of the token. Without a moderate liquidity level, it may be hard for investors to convert their tokens to profit regardless of how high their value rises.

At the time of writing, PepeCoin is trading around 0.0000003341, with a daily trading volume of $87.98 million. Based on additional data from CoinMarketCap, the token has also attained an impressive market value of $145.66 million.

Memecoins Record Heavy Gains, Draw Investors Interest

Memecoins are a type of cryptocurrency based on internet memes and are promoted majorly by celebrities engagements. While these tokens are usually criticized for their lack of utility, they can serve as a source of quick and large gains especially upon launch as seen with PepeCoin.

In addition to PEPE, some other meme coins have generated significant profit in recent times, even amidst the general crypto market dump.

Examples of such tokens include Tamadoge (TAMA), ArbDoge AI (AIDOGE), and Good Gensler (GENSLR), whic...

Lawmakers approve plan to have schools display 10 Commandments "IndyWatch Feed Survival"

State senators in Texas have adopted, 17-12, a plan to have the Ten Commandments displayed in school classrooms.

Sponsor state Sen. Phil King, a Republican, set up the plan to have the document at least 16 inches by 20 inches.

The plan now goes to the state House, and if the...

Shiba Inu Price Holds Above $0.00001 Is It Time For A Rally? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Following its disappointing market dip last week, the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) seems to be in recovery at the moment. In fact, some analysts are backing the meme-inspired token to embark on an impressive bullish run anytime from now.

Over the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu seems to be on a reversal after losing nearly 10% of its value during the week. Today, SHIB is up by 2%, and it appears to be building momentum for a price rally.

Shiba Inu Holds Above Critical Support

Shiba Inu has been on a downward trend in the past few days, despite the buying frenzy by the SHIB whales. It is, however, worth noting that this whale accumulation trend has somewhat slowed down in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap, experienced a significant price drop in the previous week, which affected the entire crypto market. It is understood that the latest bearish trend of the blue-chip crypto impacted the value of several altcoins, including SHIB.

The Shiba Inu price decline started on Wednesday, 19th April, with the coin losing more than 5% of its value in one day. The meme token would fall by a further 7.47% in the next few days.

However, SHIB has displayed remarkable strength and stability by not sliding beneath the $0.00001 price level, which was last breached on March 10. Since rising back above this level on the same day, the Shiba Inu market has been in consolidation, with its price ranging between a low of $0.0000101 to a high of $0.0000117.

Time For A Rally?

As of this writing, a SHIB token is valued at $0.00001046, according to data from CoinGecko. This reflects a nearly 3% increase since the coin found support at the critical $0.0000101 level.

Shiba Inu

Shiba Inus ability to hold above this significant support level is a strong indicator of bullish momentum. After all, this threshold has proven to be a vital point a couple of times already. A sustained hold above this level would likely lead to a major price upswing.

Additionally, going by past price action, Shiba Inu looks set for another retest of the range high at $0.0000117. If there is prolonged buying pressure, we could see SHIB break this level to the $0.0000126 point. This move would represent a 20.4% increase from the current price.

While this projection looks very much plausible, it may not go as planned if the SHIB price does not gather enough bullish momentum from this current run.

Is It Possible To Take The Idea Of A Wedding Dress Code Too Far? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Most people agree that weddings are meant to be a representation of the bride and groom. Its their day, so what they say goes that includes the guest list, the food, and formality, the alcohol (or lack thereof), etc.

Some people dont specify a dress code while others want everyone in black tiebut what if what they requested made you uncomfortable?

In many cases, you can just decline to attend, but OP found out that when its family, things are more complicated.

Their brother is getting married, and they were happy to be asked to stand up with the bride at least until they were informed that meant wearing a dress.

OP identifies as non-binary and doesnt like to wear typical female clothing, but after expressing her discomfort to their brother, realized they were not going to change their preference for their wedding.

My brother is getting married in a few months and his future wife recently asked me to be a part of her bridal party. I was thrilled and excited to be included, but then she informed me that the dress code for the bridal party was gender-specific, with women expected to wear dresses and men expected to wear suits.

As someone who identifies as non-binary and is more masculine presenting, I am uncomfortable with conforming to a gender binary that doesnt accurately represent me.

I brought this up with my brother and his fianc, but they insisted that they wanted all their guests to adhere to the dress code, regardless of how it made them feel.

They decided to just not attend, but when their mother found out, she lit into them about setting aside their preferences for one day to make it special for the bride and groom.

I ultimately decided that I did not want to attend the wedding, as I did not feel comfortable being pre...

In Defense of Incoherent Psychiatry "IndyWatch Feed Health"

I was stunned by the final two paragraphs of Peter Simons report No Evidence that Psychiatric Treatments Produce Successful Outcomes. In a viewpoint article in JAMA Psychiatry, the authors claimed that there is no system like Medicare collecting standardized data that is tracking changes in outcomes over time, and therefore we have no way to assess whether outcomes are continuing to improve.  They define the target outcomes as the prevention of undesirable events, such as death and disability, and the achievement of desirable ones, such as remission.

They appear to ignore the abundant existing evidence that, on those specific targets, modern psychiatric treatment appears to lead to worsening outcomes.  Like religious faith that often stands more firmly when faced with contradictory evidence, clinging to their belief that their treatments are beneficial, they dont take up the serious challenge posed by evidence of worsening outcomes.  Instead, they write as if the problem we have is a lack of a system that can chart how our treatments are continuing to improve outcomes.

Though there is no evidence of outcome improvement from the existing treatments and considerable evidence of the opposite, rather than questioning their use, we just need a system that can help us improve their efficacy.  Stunning!

Hijab Defiance in Iran: Foreign Spies Blamed for Women's Resistance "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The Islamic Republic has recently unveiled new plans to further impose its strict mandatory hijab laws despite massive backlash from Iranian women after the death of Mahsa Amini last September 2022, promising to further crackdown on dissent against the rule.

Some of these proposed policies include setting up hijab enforcement groups in the stations of the Tehran metro, which would ban any woman not wearing a headscarf from entering and effectively ban them from going to work or school.

Another proposal is to set up surveillance cameras around streets and other public spaces to identify further women not wearing hijabs and penalize them, as announced by the Iranian police on April 8th.

Under the proposal to set up CCTVs in public areas, violators of the hijab laws would receive warning text messages as to the consequences of not obeying the law after they were identified.

Iranian authorities also stated they were preventing resistance against the hijab law upon announcing the decision to use surveillance cameras to identify unveiled women.

As for the planned hijab enforcement groups in the Tehran metro, the Tehran Metro Company initially announced they were launching a verbal reminder project in the capital and suburban metro stations in line with the demands of the noble people of Iran on the issue of hijab.

These two proposed moves follow a series of actions by the Iranian government, keen on further imposing its mandatory hijab laws. Last March, it ordered female pharmacy workers to wear the headscarf while...

Link "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The Taliban has recently proposed a strict Sharia-compliant dress code for school students, prescribing long, traditional clothing in different colors that covers the body for male and female students.

The proposed policy comes when the Taliban continues to impose harsh restrictions despite initial promises of a softer rule when the group seized power in August 2021 after the withdrawal of the US-led forces in Afghanistan.

The bill, composed of five chapters and 13 articles, would require boys attending elementary schools to wear perahan tunban, a traditional Afghan dress for men, in light blue color. Men attending secondary and high school would need to wear the same outfit in light green color.

Girls are faced with more restrictions under the proposal. Citing a Taliban official, they would not be allowed to wear short, transparent, thin and tight clothing.

The draft also proposes that younger female students under sixth grade wear a dark ivory uniform with a white hijab, while older female students must wear an olive-green outfit with a black headscarf.

In addition, female students would also need to wear a cloak when going to and from school. The draft law also requires male teachers to wear the same perahan tunban outfit, and female teachers must wear long dresses similar to what female students have to wear, along with full-length cloaks.

Although the Taliban said they are still consulting and writing many activists and students. A citizens movement in Afghanistan called Purple Saturdays has risen to protest the draft dress code.

The proposed Sharia-compliant dress code is among the few actions Afghanistan under the Taliban has undertaken recently.

Mars has a scarlet-red surface, right? But, bizarrely, the planets south pole looks like holey Swiss cheese.

For the past few years, scientists have realized that these Swiss cheese-like formations are actually layers of frozen water and frozen carbon dioxide, deposited over the years. Yet they have not had much luck in uncovering how the formations developed and changed.

A recent study published in the Geophysical Research Letters journal, however, gives us a model from planetary scientist, Peter Buhler, of the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson, Ariz., mapping a 510,000-year climate history of these amazing Swiss cheese formations and how they transformed under Mars orbital polar tilts, which he calls an essential step for understanding its water cycle.

Self-Beheading: Indian Couple Commits Shocking Sacrificial Ritual "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The state of Gujarat in western India was shocked upon hearing the news of a husband and wife committing suicide by decapitation as part of a gory sacrificial ritual. The couples family members reported that they had been offering prayers in their hut every day since last year.

Authorities found the couple's headless bodies in their hut in the Vinchhiya village in Gujarats Rajkot district. Police said on April 16th that the two performed their suicidal ritual using a guillotine-like device they created at home.

The man was identified as 38-year-old Hemubhai Makwana. His wife, Hansaben, was 35 years old when the two beheaded themselves using the blade of their self-made device at their farm in the Vinchhiya village.

According to Vinchhiya police sub-inspector Indrajeetsinh Jadeja, the husband and wife duo deliberately planned the ritual, adding that the couple executed it so that their severed heads would roll into the fire altar after the beheading. Jadeja also added that authorities also found a suicide note on the spot.

"The couple first prepared a fire altar before putting their heads under a guillotine-like mechanism held by a rope. As soon as they released the rope, an iron blade fell on them, severing their heads, which rolled into the fire," Jadeja narrated.

The ritual was said to be performed between the night of April 15th and the afternoon of April 16th when the police we...

Blasphemy Backlash: Woman Arrested for Claiming Prophethood in Pakistan "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Authorities arrested a Muslim woman in Pakistan on April 14th after claiming to be a prophet of Islam. Pakistani police accused her of blasphemy, a charge that could carry the death penalty under the countrys expanded blasphemy laws.

Authorities apprehended the woman, identified as Sana Ullah, from her home in the eastern city of Faisalabad. Senior police official Nasir Ali Rizvi said the arrest was made shortly after an angry mob gathered and demanded she is lynched after hearing the news of her alleged prophethood.

Rizvi also said two other people were arrested, and Ullah would be brought before a judge to face the accusations against her. Sources report that the two arrested were Hina Anjum and her husband Ahmed Nawaz, relatives of Ullah, accused of believing in Ullahs prophethood.

Startling Blasphemy Arrest: Chinese Worker Airlifted to Safety in Pakistan "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Authorities in Pakistan arrested a Chinese man on the night of April 16th for allegedly insulting the Prophet Muhammad and Islam. This charge could carry the death sentence if proven guilty.

The police only identified the suspect as Mr. Tian from China. He was arrested shortly after hundreds of residents and laborers in the town of Komela blocked a critical highway and protested to call for his arrest.

According to the local police Naseer Khan, the rally happened near the Dasu Dam site, which is the countrys biggest hydropower project. A Chinese construction firm has undertaken the main civil works for the dam since 2018. Komela is located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, bordering Afghanistan.

Aging Mans Favorite Album of Year Currently Spotifys Daily Mix 4 "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. 38-year-old Jason Andrews recently came to the conclusion that his most revered album of the year was none other than Spotifys Daily Mix 4, sources who personally thought it was a little overrated confirmed.

This might even be my favorite of the year for the next decade, said Andrews before giving Daily Mix 2 a shot after hearing good things about it. Spotify somehow knows I dont enjoy any music post-2010. Thats not my fault though. We all know music peaked in 2006 after 12 to 15 glorious years of existence. What I like most about DM4 is that there are no surprises and it doesnt make you think too much. Just banger after banger of songs that just so happen to be on various playlists Ive made years ago. That being said, I think my least favorite one is something called Discover Weekly. I couldnt follow it at all. Hard pass.

Spotify engineer Jules Winthrop, who is credited with the Daily Mix algorithm, gave their expert insight.

Machine learning has totally revolutionized the way we experience music, said Winthrop. You know how the Facebook algorithm just feeds you information to reinforce what you already believe and want to hear? Well, we stole that idea for the Daily Mix series, only its music you loved when you were in high school and nothing that challenges it. By the year 2030 no one over the age of 35 will have to experience new music ever again. Youre welcome.

Behavioral therapist Dr. Julian Meadows believes its human nature to gravitate toward comfort.

As we get older, we crave familiarity, said Meadows. But thats only because the more we see of the world, the more we realize its nothing but a chaotic shitshow that were forced to participate in every single day until we just sort of croak. So in the meantime, people are drawn towards things they can control. Thats why you see older people cling to outdated ideas and elder emos hold onto Hawthorne Heights for way too long. We just want what we know, even though new stuff is just as good, if not better.

At press time, Andrews revealed his favorite movie of the year was the Netflix menu screen he scrolls for hours at a time.

Every Cursive Album Ranked "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Cursive is such a criminally overlooked band that many public schools have cut them from their curriculum entirely. We here at the Hard Times believe that a proper education in Cursive is crucial, and because we all know art is hard, weve taken the time to rank all nine of their masterpieces for you.

9. I Am Gemini (2012)

The least successful of Cursives conceptual albums; I Am Gemini found the band in a panic. Presumably, they realized the album was due the day before they got around to writing it. Hoping to get at least partial credit on the assignment, lead songwriter and frontman, Tim Kasher, phoned in a lackluster story centered in a tired good twin/evil twin trope. Spoiler alert, the evil one dies at the end. Or at least we think he does. The lyrics are super confusing and the stage directions in the liner notes dont really help our understanding here. This record proves that sometimes its better to just take the zero.

Play It Again: We tried, and it doesnt make any more sense than it did the first time.
Skip It: Yes please!

8. Such Blinding Stars for Starving Eyes (1997)

Typically a bands debut album can be expected to rank relatively high, but Such Blinding Stars for Starving Eyes marks a pretty rocky transitional period for Kasher following failed musical outing, Slow Down Virginia. Shortly before this record dropped, he was also co-fronting the moderately successful emo-pop band, Commander Venus, along with Conor Oberst. Their output was considerably sunnier than the sound Cursive would later adopt. Such Blinding Stars kicks off Kashers long held tradition of livin...

Review: Black Flag Damaged "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Each Sunday, The Hard Times looks back on a foundational punk album. This week, were examining Henry Rollins first jab into the public consciousness, Black Flags debut LP Damaged.

Knowing that I am a diehard Henry Rollins fan, my editors assigned Black Flags first album to me for review. They may not know this, but I actually run some of Twitters largest Henry Rollins stan accounts. We Hankies are a very passionate community.

In fact, Hankies are the 79th biggest stan community after Swifties (Taylor Swift), the Beyhive (Beyonc), the Beahive (Bea Arthur), and a few others. Our ranks grow by one or two with each passing month. Before long, youll hear news articles about us harassing music critics and biased journalists attempting to slander Henry for their personal gain. Move over Nikki Minajs Barbz, we Hankies are here to stay.

I dont want to brag, but I actually have a restraining order filed against me by Black Flags original vocalist Keith Morris for repeated death threats and rummaging through his trash for blackmail dirt. Obviously Im innocent but maybe hell think twice before throwing shade toward my Hen-Hen again.

And dont even get me started on Greg Ginn. Hes always been jealous of Henrys superior fame and washboard abs. In fact, Ive never seen Greg shirtless. What are you hiding, Greg? Mushy flab and an inferiority complex? Henry could smoke you in a deadlift competition and you know it.

In all my years as a Hankie, I never got a bigger rush than the fateful day in Spring 2017 when Pitchfork did a classic review of Damaged and panned it with a paltry score of 9.2 out of 10. Why didnt they just film themselves taking a shit on the vinyl instead of writing such a hateful diatribe? The Hankies had a meetup outside Pitchforks Chicago headquarters to protest. We stood in solidarity as we hurled anti-Italian epithets at the journalists filing in for their shift at the hate factory. I made lifelong relationships that day more important than those of my family, who are extremely worried about my disturbing behavior.

Oh wait, I was supposed to write a review, wasnt I? Yeah everything Henry Rollins touches is perfect.

How To Tell Smiths Songs From Morrisseys Solo Work by Whether or Not Its Good "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Weve all been there. One moment, youre listening to music in your car, and the next thing you know, you hear Morrisseys voice on the radio. The part of you that loves The Smiths wants to be delighted yet the part that hates Morrissey is frightened. What if you inadvertently support his lackluster solo career?

Luckily, its surprisingly easy to tell The Smiths and Morrissey apart. One put out several great albums and the other is Morrissey. Ones albums sell for modest prices on Discogs while the other rots in a used record stores dollar bin. Some tracks are harder to identify like Morrisseys cover of the classic Smiths hit How Soon Is Now? but listen closely and youll quickly learn where to draw the line between lonely and pathetic.

Think about it. The Smiths may not be known for releasing happy music but at least you find yourself tapping your toes to Johnny Marrs delightful little riffs. Those usually play for at least 30 seconds before Morrissey opens his mouth. Listen for one of those before you get scared and skip some of the greatest music of all time. Besides, no merciful god or DJ would play solo Moz on the radio. Youre probably safe if youre listening to a half-decent radio station.

Youre statistically more likely to accidentally skip a good Smiths song than you are to enjoy a whiny Morrissey solo track. The average casual listener skips 12 or 13 Smiths songs a year, though most of those skips are from people who feel guilty when Meat is Murder starts playing in the McDonalds drive-thru line. True Smiths fans know better than to make this mistake.

If you really cant tell the difference between a great band and a grown man having a melodic tantrum, close your eyes and do some soul-searching. Ask yourself are you having a good time? Would you recommend this music to others? If either is true, its The Smiths. If not, at least your unironic enjoyment of Morrisseys objectively terrible music makes you far more open-minded than he is.

Encore Actually a Timeshare Presentation "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

SEWICKLEY, Pa. Audience members of last nights Duck Cruncher show were surprised by an elaborate timeshare presentation instead of a proper encore, intrigued yet fiscally cautious sources confirmed.

Look, the fact of the matter is, we care about our fans and wanted to let them in on this deal of a lifetime. If that means putting our instruments aside for a moment, and showing a few slides of this property in Montaukwhich is beautiful this time of year, might I addso be it, said longtime Duck Cruncher guitarist Freida Gizmo Paramus. Pardon us for trying to give the crowd their hard-earned moneys worth! I mean, have you ever been to Montauk in the spring? You havent? Well, at least take a few of these complimentary full-color brochures.

Employees of the Kitchen Sink, the venue of the Duck Cruncher show, expressed dubiousness over the bands ethics.

Oh, its a total scam. But Ive seen it work on a huge slew of ill-advised audience members over the years. Its no wonder that band has such fancy new gear all of the time, said bartender Lemon Kendrix. Any time one of them needs a new amp or they want to upgrade the stage lights, out comes the Powerpoint presentation. Still, I must admit, they really do make Montauk sound like a paradise. Perhaps Ill take them up on a week or two in the summer months, around my birthday.

Strikingly obvious audience plant Orvis Pfeffer refused to drop the bit, even during his interview.

Wow, what a fantastic deal! Youd have to be crazy to mosh past a bargain like that, shouted Pfeffer, while slyly circulating paperwork throughout the crowd as they left. Gee, is it just me, or should they just do the presentation a few times through, instead of playing more of those pesky songs? Oh, and if nobody has a pen, Ive got a bunch right here. Better sign up, before I take the whole year. Montauk n roll forever!

At press time, suspicions regarding Duck Crunchers scamming were enforced when they turned their merch table into a Three-Card Monte station.

Is It Ever OK To Hijack Someone Elses Pregnancy Announcement? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Announcing a wanted pregnancy to family and friends is always an exciting time. Your parents are becoming grandparents, siblings are being promoted to aunts and uncles, and in general, a happy time.

OP here is pregnant with her second after two early losses, and was planning to use a trip in from out of town to announce to her parents and sister.

My husband and I have been trying for our second baby for two and a half years. We lost 2 pregnancies during that time, though we only told our families about the first. Im incredibly grateful to now be 13 weeks pregnant and have been looking forward to sharing that news with my family.

On Friday, we had dinner with my family my sister, her boyfriend, and our parents and we decided to share our news then. I decided to wait until dessert, so that we could leave shortly after telling everyone.

Obviously, its exciting news, but I was worried about all the emotions that could surface for myself and my husband.

She had no idea that her sister was pregnant until she announced first.

Right after we sat down to eat, my sister announced that she and her boyfriend are expecting their first child. I was thrilled for her and congratulated her, as did the rest of the family.

Thinking that she would be adding to the joy, OP went ahead and announced her own good news. It was well received and everyone seemed excited about cousins being born so close in age.

Once things had settled down, I didnt want to waste the opportunity to have everyone together and thought it would be a good opportunity to keep the joy flowing, so I shared that Im pregnant as well.

Our parents were so excited to be having two new grandbabies just a month apart and I was super happy that my kids would have a new cousin.

Solana (SOL) Plunges Over 13% Will It Bounce Back? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Solana is facing its share of the bearish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market today. SOL has held above $20 since it jumped from $18 to $24 on January 14.

However, the coin has seen a drop of 12.54% in price in the last seven days. Now, investors wonder if there are any signs of recovery.

Crypto Market Plunge Affects Solana

After the collapse of Alameda Research and FTX last year, SOL price joined the trend of price losses in the market. The Solana blockchain raised funds from FTX and Alameda Research, the trading firm of FTX former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried.

However, when Binance withdrew from its planned takeover of the exchange, it spooked many investors as it meant the termination of support for Solana.

Following the incident, many key investors pulled out from the Solana blockchain. This action led to a drastic drop in price, leaving SOL to struggle. However, the asset started recovering in 2023. It started the year at $9.9610 but gradually climbed, recording rallies and pullbacks until it hit $25 on January 21 before retracing.

The past weeks were eventful for SOL, as it touched a significant high of $24.7 (April 15). But recently, Solanas price has also been facing challenges as the crypto markets portray several signs of fear due to the threat of economic recession.

At the time of writing, Solanas price stands at $21.33, indicating a drastic plunge in price by over 13% in the past week, compared to its past weeks performance.

Solana (SOL) Plunges by Over 13%, Will It Bounce Back?

For instance, on January 10, 2023, Solana enjoyed a 12% price increase after the blockchains Shiba-Inu-themed token, BONK, launched.

If another development or event occurs on the Solana blockchain, there could be a possible recovery for the asset.

Polkadot (DOT) Price Slumps Below $6 Any Chances For Reversal? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The price of Polkadot (DOT) has been gradually moving south over the past few days. The price decline cuts across the entire crypto market, with strong signs of bears. The cumulative market cap has dropped by 2.58% to sit at $1.25 trillion in 24 hours.

DOT has finally lost its grip on the $6 region as the bears became aggressive on the token over the past 24 hours. The market is wondering if Polkadot still has a chance to reverse the downtrend.

Polkadot Price Drops Drastically With Prevailing Bearish Trend

The past few days seem to be turning out more negatively for DOT. The asset hovered between $6.1 and $6.9 last week except on April 21, when it dipped.

Currently, the 60-day and 90-day price action for Polkadot shows negative values of 4.45% and 5.36%, respectively. Also, DOT dipped by 12.46% over the past 7 days.

After losing its hold on the price level of $7 in February, DOT has maintained a trading price within the $6 region. As of April 21, the price of DOT dropped to its resistance point of $5.8 before correcting.

However, the price analysis of DOT for the past 24 hours shows the token is gradually going down again within the past few hours.

At the time of writing, DOT is trading at $5.921, indicating a slight reversal after plunging. The bearish push on DOT from the past few days has spilled over to the weekend.

Polkadot (DOT) Price Slumps Below $6 Mark, Any Chances For Reversal?

The crypto market is undergoing a bearish trend, with most crypto assets battling for price stability. Polkadot is included in the market performance. Hence, the selling pressure for the token has exceeded its buying pressure, forcing the price of DOT below the $6 region.

Bears Push DOT Below $6

After three consecutive red days, DOT has formed a green candle on the price chart. However, the bears are still in control as they struggle to reclaim past price levels.

These People Are Confessing To The Things They Did Wrong For Way Too Long "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Everyone is naive in one way or another. Its normal when were young, and honestly, you should probably be concerned if youre not, at least as a child.

We all have those aha moments when the lightbulb goes off. Those are the moments we realize weve done the wrong thing, or believed the wrong thing, for way too long of a time.

Here are some people willing to fess up to those most awkward moments for them.

To be fair, it is magical.

When I was 5 a pizza hut employee told me that the powder on the breadsticks was called fairy dust. Ordered extra fairy dust on my breadsticks until I was around 14 when an employee said do you mean garlic salt? It still devastates me to realize how obtuse I was.

The explanation probably wasnt clear.

It wasnt very long, but when I was learning to drive my dad was explaining the rule of thumb regarding a safe distance to be behind the car in front of you. I thought it meant to hold your thumb up and if your thumb didnt cover the entire car you were too close to it.

When he caught me doing that he asked me what I was doing. When I explained he burst out laughing, then considered it, and concluded it wasnt a bad idea but perhaps a bit distracting.

Three whole years.

We bought a nice liquor cabinet. We got it delivered and noticed it was a bit shorter than we thought. No biggie.

Three years later, were moving. Lift up cabinet and these beautiful, ornate, screw on legs wrapped in tape and bubble wrap fall off the bottom.

Looks so much better now!

The Parent's Guide to the Myths of Good or Bad Pesticides "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Editor's Note: This article is a reprint. It was originally published July 22, 2018.

In the U.S., there are about 80,000 registered chemicals. Of these, only a few hundred are actually tested for safety, and even that testing is considered inadequate by most toxicologists. Part of the problem is that most chemicals are tested in isolation. In real world application, however, most chemicals are combined with others, and the few studies done on synergetic effects reveal even nontoxic chemicals can become toxic when mixed together.

While there are many sources of chemical exposure, our food is a significant one, as most conventionally farmed foods are sprayed with pesticides. The chemical industry would have you believe pesticide residues on food is of no major concern.

Others vehemently disagree. To help parents sort out truth from myth, Andr Leu, former president of International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and current international director of Regeneration International, wrote "Poisoning Our Children: The Parent's Guide to the Myths of Safe Pesticides."

In 2014, I interviewed him about his first book, "The Myths of Safe Pesticides," which reveals the vacuum of scientific evidence for the safety of pesticides. As noted by Leu, the safety of pesticides is "based on data-free assumptions."

"When I was researching data, I realized there's absolutely no scientific evidence at all about the safety of pesticides and other chemicals for our children.

Yet, we have hundreds of scientific studies showing the damage that the smallest amount of pesticides can do. The fact is the science shows there's absolutely no safe level of these chemicals for children. I think it's very important for parents to learn about it and be aware of what the science says."

How Chemical Industry Manipulates Data to Suppress Concerns

A key argument in his book is that the agricultural industry and global chemical industry have manipulated the system to control and suppress safety concerns. The process is called "regulatory capture." This is where the industry actually captures the regulators, and the regulators now work for the industry instead of working for the public. A number of toxic industries have used the same playbook to achieve this aim, including the tobacco, asbestos, lead and pesticide industries.

Part and parcel of this process is the revolving door between government and industry, where regulators are given high-paying jobs in the industry, and industry executives get hired as senior managers in regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where they start approving the pr...

How Americans Prevented the COVID Jab Mandate "IndyWatch Feed Health"

March 23, 2023, Barbara Loe Fisher, cofounder and president of the charitable National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) and NVIC co-founder Kathi Williams and I unveiled a public Truth and Freedom monument outside the Mercola office in Cape Coral, Florida.

truth and freedom monument unveiling
truth and freedom monument front

Its a majestic bronze and marble monument dedicated to the many casualties of one-size-fits-all mandatory vaccination laws. It also celebrates civil liberties and human rights, the first of which is the right to autonomy and protection of bodily integrity.

If you don't have that right, if you cannot exercise that right, you can't exercise an informed consent to medical risk-taking, which includes vaccine risk-taking, Fisher says.

truth and freedom monument

As she points out, there are lots of monuments in Washington, D.C., dedicated to prominent figures and wars. But there are no monuments to those who lost their lives because of mandatory vaccination policies and laws that include sanctions for noncompliance. For casualties of one-size-fits all vaccine policies, the risks of vaccination have turned out to be 100%, and weve certainly seen that during the last three years.

Fisher has been warning that the mandatory vaccination system is flawed since 1982. Since then, its only gotten more corrupt, not less, as government vaccination programs are inexorably tied to the business interests of the pharmaceutical industry.

Government no longer really regulates vaccines. It makes national policy promoting their mandatory use and profits from vaccine patents. Government agencies are in business with Big Pharma through the development of public-private partnerships that have grown stronger over the past four decades with the blessing of Congress.

In this video, I interview Alex Jones, host of "The Alex Jones Show" and founder of Infowars.com, about his new book, "The Great Reset: And the War for the World." Jones was one of the first to be targeted for massive censorship.

As of August 2018, he'd already been uniformly removed from Apple, Facebook, Google and Twitter. They all targeted and deplatformed him within days of each other. Of course, the following summer, I and hundreds of other sites, were similarly removed. Jones was the first, though, and he had a massive audience, being one of the top 1,000 most-visited websites in the world, not just the U.S.

Censorship Through 'Lawfare'

In all, more than 50 lawsuits have been filed against him, in two different jurisdictions. In the video above, Russel Brand provides a solid summary of events to date. As noted by Jones, "It's simply historic what's happening." As you might expect, he's spent millions of dollars defending his right to free speech, and recently filed for bankruptcy protection.

"It's their plan to shut us down," he says. "I'm not worried about myself. I want to keep Infowars on the air as long as possible, but we've been vindicated. The New World Order is here. Global government is here. The depopulation agenda, the force inoculation hell, the open borders, the devaluation of currency all of it is already here. And so, I'm just a symptom of the disease, and the fact that they want to shut everybody down ...

The lawyers for these people ... [have] said, 'It is our mission to silence him, and shut him down with the biggest judgments we can get. We want him off air.'

So just a few years ago, it would be heresy to say, 'We want to silence someone,' but that's the point of this suit. Now, they openly say it is to destroy us. And they have said on CNN, and MSNBC, 'Next is Tucker Carlson. Next is Joe Rogan. Next is everybody else.'"

The Great Reset Is a War for Global Domination

Continuing his effort to alert people to the global enslavement agenda, Jones wrote "The Great Reset: And the War for the World." "I went with this title, because the globalists are in a war for the world, a planetary government, a total takeover," he says.

While the rest of the world stayed inside, missing work and time with family and friends, nurse Meredith Schorr spent the COVID-19 pandemic helping patients in the intensive care unit at Banner University Medical Center.

The stress, long hours, bad food, and PTSD medicines resulted in a 50 pounds weight gain for the 25-year old in a year and a half.

Schorr told People,

I was pretty uncomfortable with the new weight that I had gained because it wasnt where I normally sat.

I didnt feel healthy, I was restricted in doing exercise.

She went on to say that prior to the pandemic she was at a healthy weight and fit.

You owe your life to dental hygiene.

Every time we watch this, a new and wonderful detail jumps out. Reddit users were here for it, too.

So You Dont Like Trump How Much Pain Will You Take? "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

https://www.westernjournal.com/useful-idiots/?ff_s..

So youve listened to the left wing media telling you to hate Trump ever since he stepped off the escalator and announced his run for the presidency in 2015. So Donald J. Trump went from having a popular TV show and celebrity status to being the devils own thanks to people like you whove done nothing with their entire life and nothing for anybody else. Yet, youre in a position to not only judge but accept a deteriorating life style, loss of your spending power, higher prices at the grocery store, the US border going unprotected, a lying administration that never tells the truth, and a bunch of news networks that defend the failing and deadly policies of the present administration elected by voter fraud? Really?

The clueless American

When will you realize where the pain is coming from? Do you simply accept the depletion of your quality of life not to be a questionable circumstance? Do you actually believe that the government is god-like in its ability to rule over you and that all policies are intended for your well-being? Think again moron! I personally am appalled at the not just ignorance but cognitive dissonance that is so prevalent on social platforms. People will actually defense the very policies that are stripping them of their freedoms! Through tribalism, they would rather stick with the worst administration in US history than have Donald Trump and his people at the controls forcing Washington DC once again to serve the America people as they are commanded to do in the US Constitution! Why is that so hard for people to fathom?

Preferring defeat

Human nature is a flawed form of consciousness and personal conduct. When people are accustomed to bad treatment they gravitate to it once theyve been liberated from it!  The human brain like a sponge absorbs the environment it has been raised in and whether or not that it was good or bad, right or wrong, people will seek out what they are familiar with even objectively realizing that what theyre subjecting themselves to is bad! Yet, is this the case when it comes to politics or are people simply too stubborn to analyze the facts and suffer the consequences? So, once again is it up to you having free will to choose your poison? Fine, but I dont want my personal life affected by your flawed and biased judgment!

Shooting yourself in the foot

Once again, how much adversity to you want to accept simply because you hate...
