Psychologist's death due to AstraZeneca Covid vaccine reaction "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The death of a psychologist after his Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab was due to "unintended complications of the vaccine", an inquest has ruled. Stephen Wright, an NHS employee in south-east London, died 10 days after his first dose in January 2021, senior coroner Andrew Harris found. Dr Wright, 32, suffered a blood clot to the brain after receiving the vaccine. His wife Charlotte has been trying to get the "natural causes" wording on her husband's death certificate changed. She is pursuing legal action against the pharmaceutical company. At London Inner South Coroner's Court, Mr Harris described it as a "very unusual and deeply tragic case". Dr Wright suffered from a combination of a brainstem infarction, bleed on the brain and "vaccine-induced thrombosis", the inquest heard. His condition rapidly worsened, but the nature of the bleed meant he was unfit for surgery. After the inquest, Mrs Wright ... said: "It was made clear that Stephen was [previously] fit and healthy and that his death was by vaccination of AstraZeneca. For us, it allows us to be able to continue our litigation against AstraZeneca. This is the written proof." Speaking about the coroner's ruling, mother-of-two Charlotte Wright said: "It provides relief but it doesn't provide closure. I think we're only going to get that when we have an answer from AstraZeneca and the government." From May 2021, the AZ jab was no longer offered to adults under 40 after it became clear the vaccine carried [a] risk of blood clots which could be fatal.

Note: Dr. Wright's death is one of many tragedies related to the COVID-19 vaccine, as revealed in a powerful documentary that follows the lives of people significantly harmed by the vaccine, yet were discredited and abandoned by the medical system and our media systems. A recent analysis report estimates that in 2022 alone, out of 148 million people, the mass COVID-19 inoculations injured 26.6 million, disabled 1.36 million, and caused 300,000 excess deaths, with an estimated economic cost of nearly $150 billion. Clearview AI scraped 30 billion images from Facebook and other social media sites and gave them to cops: it puts everyone into a 'perpetual police line-up' "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

A controversial facial recognition database, used by police departments across the nation, was built in part with 30 billion photos the company scraped from Facebook and other social media users without their permission. The company, Clearview AI, boasts of its potential for identifying rioters at the January 6 attack on the Capitol, saving children being abused or exploited, and helping exonerate people wrongfully accused of crimes. But critics point to privacy violations and wrongful arrests fueled by faulty identifications made by facial recognition, including cases in Detroit and New Orleans, as cause for concern over the technology. Once a photo has been scraped by Clearview AI, biometric face prints are made and cross-referenced in the database, tying the individuals to their social media profiles and other identifying information forever and people in the photos have little recourse to try to remove themselves. CNN reported Clearview AI last year claimed the company's clients include "more than 3,100 US agencies, including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security." BBC reported Miami Police acknowledged they use the technology for all kinds of crimes, from shoplifting to murder. The risk of being included in what is functionally a "perpetual police line-up" applies to everyone, including people who think they have nothing to hide, [said] Matthew Guariglia, a senior policy analyst for the international non-profit digital rights group Electronic Frontier Fund.

Georgia National Guard Will Use Phone Location Tracking to Recruit High School Children "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The Georgia Army National Guard plans to combine two deeply controversial practices military recruiting at schools and location-based phone surveillance to persuade teens to enlist, according to contract documents reviewed by The Intercept. The federal contract materials outline plans by the Georgia Army National Guard to geofence 67 different public high schools throughout the state, targeting phones found within a one-mile boundary of their campuses with recruiting advertisements "with the intent of generating qualified leads of potential applicants for enlistment while also raising awareness of the Georgia Army National Guard." Geofencing refers generally to the practice of drawing a virtual border around a real-world area. The ad campaign will make use of a variety of surveillance advertising techniques, including capturing the unique device IDs of student phones, tracking pixels, and IP address tracking. It will also plaster recruiting solicitations across Instagram, Snapchat, streaming television, and music apps. The campaign plans not only call for broadcasting recruitment ads to kids at school, but also for pro-Guard ads to follow these students around as they continue using the internet and other apps, a practice known as retargeting. While the state's plan specifies targeting only high school juniors and seniors ages 17 and above, demographic ad targeting is known to be error prone, and experts told The Intercept it's possible the recruiting messages could reach the phones of younger children.

Johns Hopkins study shows lockdowns only reduced COVID-19 death rate by .2% "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Lockdowns during the first COVID-19 wave in the spring of 2020 only reduced COVID-19 mortality by .2% in the U.S. and Europe, according to a Johns Hopkins University meta-analysis of several studies. "While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted," the researchers wrote. "In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument." The researchers Johns Hopkins University economics professor Steve Hanke, Lund University economics professor Lars Jonung, and special advisor at Copenhagen's Center for Political Studies Jonas Herby analyzed the effects of lockdown measures such as school shutdowns, business closures, and mask mandates on COVID-19 deaths. "We find little to no evidence that mandated lockdowns in Europe and the United States had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality rates," the researchers wrote. The researchers also examined shelter-in-place orders, finding that they reduced COVID-19 mortality by 2.9%. Studies that looked at only shelter-in-place orders found they reduced COVID-19 mortality by 5.1%, but studies that looked at shelter-in-place orders along with other lockdown measures found that shelter-in-place orders actually increased COVID-19 mortality by 2.8%. The researchers concluded that limiting gatherings may have actually increased COVID-19 mortality.

Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, said the broad review of multiple scientific studies. "We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality," the researchers wrote. But the research paper said lockdowns did have "devastating effects" on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills. "They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy," the report said. "Such a standard benefit-cost calculation leads to a strong conclusion: lockdowns should be rejected out of hand as a pandemic policy instrument," the paper concluded. Early on, many states and 186 countries imposed bans on work, socialization, in-person schooling, travel and other restrictions to limit the spread of the disease, citing recommendations by top health care experts. Researchers at the Imperial College London, for example, predicted that such steps could reduce death rates by up to 98%. That never happened, according to the new study by researchers Steve Hanke, Jonas Herby, and Lars Jonung at Johns Hopkins.

Possible links between Covid shots and tinnitus emerge "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Thousands of people say they've developed tinnitus after they were vaccinated against Covid. Shaowen Bao, an associate professor in the physiology department of the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona, Tucson, believes that ongoing inflammation, especially in the brain or spinal cord, may be to blame. Bao, a longtime tinnitus sufferer and a representative of the American Tinnitus Association's scientific advisory board, has studied tinnitus for more than a decade. A Facebook group of people who developed tinnitus after getting a Covid vaccine convinced Bao to look into the possible link. One man told Bao that he couldn't hear the car radio over the noise in his head while driving. Along with ringing in their ears, participants reported a range of other symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, vertigo, ear pain, anxiety and depression. Significantly more people first developed tinnitus after the first dose of the vaccine, compared with the second. This suggests "that the vaccine is interacting with pre-existing risk factors for tinnitus. If you have the risk factor, you will probably get it from the first dose," Bao said. As of Sunday, at least 16,183 people had filed complaints with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that they'd developed tinnitus, or ringing in their ears, after receiving a Covid vaccine. [Vaccine expert Dr. Gregory] Poland, who was stricken with tinnitus after he received his Covid vaccines two years ago, suggested that the CDC remains "unconcerned" about these reports of tinnitus.

As Drug Crisis Mounted, Sacklers Gave Millions to Group That Advises on Opioids "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

For the past decade, the White House and Congress have relied on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, a renowned advisory group, to help shape the federal response to the opioid crisis, whether by convening expert panels or delivering policy recommendations and reports. Yet officials with the National Academies have kept quiet about one thing: their decision to accept roughly $19 million in donations from members of the Sackler family, the owners of Purdue Pharma, the maker of the drug OxyContin that is notorious for fueling the opioid epidemic. The opioid crisis has led to hundreds of thousands of overdose deaths, spawned lawsuits and forced other institutions to publicly distance themselves from Sackler money or to acknowledge potential conflicts of interest from ties to Purdue Pharma. The National Academies has largely avoided such scrutiny as it continues to advise the government on painkillers. Institutions that more publicly examined their use of Sackler donations include Tufts University, which released a review of possible conflicts of interest related to pain research education funded by Purdue Pharma. Concerns noted in the report included a senior Purdue executive's delivering lectures to students each semester. The World Health Organization in 2019 retracted two guidance documents on opioid policy after lawmakers aired concerns about ties to opioid makers, including a Purdue subsidiary, among report authors and funders.

TikTok: Chinese "Trojan Horse" is Run By State Department Officials "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

A MintPress News investigation has found dozens of ex-U.S. State Department officials working in key positions at TikTok. Many more individuals with backgrounds in the FBI, CIA and other departments of the national security state also hold influential posts at the social media giant, affecting the content that over one billion users see. The influx of State Department officials into TikTok's upper ranks is a consequence of "Project Texas," an initiative the company began in 2020 in the hopes of avoiding being banned altogether in the United States. During his time in office, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo led the charge to shut the platform down, frequently labeling it a "spying app" and a "propaganda tool for the Chinese Communist Party." It was widely reported that the U.S. government had forced the sale of TikTok to Walmart and then Microsoft. But in late 2020, as Project Texas began, those deals mysteriously fell through, and the rhetoric about the dangers of TikTok from officials evaporated. Project Texas is a $1.5 billion security operation to move the company's data to Austin. In doing so, it announced that it was partnering with tech giant Oracle, a corporation that, as MintPress has reported on, is the CIA in all but name. Evidently, Project Texas also secretly included hiring all manner of U.S. national security state personnel to oversee the company's operations and not just from the State Department. Virtually every branch of the national security state is present at TikTok.

Dr. Peter Gtzsche is a well known Danish physician with four decades of research experience, publishing 97 papers in the "big five" (BMJ, Lancet, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, and New England Journal of Medicine) and 19 Cochrane reviews. He is a co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration. Gtzsche, along with ... Maryanne Demasi, PhD, have published a new paper titled "Serious harms of the COVID-19 Vaccines: A Systematic Review." It's been a task for academics to look into this phenomenon given the fact that vaccine manufacturers and drug regulators never allowed independent researchers to examine the raw trial data, forcing transparency advocates to sue the FDA for access to the documents. The adenovirus vector vaccines increased the risk of venous thrombosis and thrombocytopenia. (Authorities have responded by suspending the use of AstraZeneca's vaccine across many European countries, and in the US, regulators have advised restricted use of Janssen's vaccine). The mRNA-based vaccines increased the risk of myocarditis, with a mortality of about 1-2 per 200 cases. It was more common in younger males. We found evidence of serious neurological harms, including Bell's Palsy, Guillain-Barr syndrome, myasthenic disorder and stroke, which are likely due to an autoimmune reaction from mRNA and adenoviral vector vaccines. Severe harms, i.e. those that prevent daily activities, were underreported in the randomized trials.

Reassessing Technology for Time-Warp Space Travel "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

A 17-year-old boy ... received the Air Force's highest science award in the 1960s. This young man had the audacity and guts to build and test a new and unusual rocket. The boy's name was David Adair, and the engine he built was a nuclear-fusion electromagnetic containment engine. This rocket was tested successfully and had an eventful landing in that land beyond lands that doesn't exist, the famous Area 51. This vehicle had the capability of achieving light speed and, according to the builder, was capable of exceeding light speed with capabilities to propel an interstellar ship to the stars. Where did David Adair, now head of Intersect Inc. in Atlanta, get the design for this engine? As he tells it, directly from NASA. The organization evidently had 18 engine designs, and guess what? Only two were solid- or liquid-propelled rocket engines. This was in the 1960s. I wonder what happened to the rest of those engine types in the past 30 years. I also wonder what type of engines have been and are being tested at the old Rocketdyne facility in the Santa Susana Mountains above Simi Valley. One might ask if the massive class-action lawsuit against Rocketdyne, which alleges contamination of the nuclear type, has any relationship to the engines that were developed and continue to be developed today. If we look at some of these modern concepts and then consider the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation, it doesn't seem quite so impossible.

'Bees are sentient': inside the stunning brains of nature's hardest workers "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

When Stephen Buchmann finds a wayward bee on a window inside his Tucson, Arizona, home, he goes to great lengths to capture and release it unharmed. This March, Buchmann released a book that unpacks just how varied and powerful a bee's mind really is. The book, What a Bee Knows: Exploring the Thoughts, Memories and Personalities of Bees, draws from his own research and dozens of other studies to paint a remarkable picture of bee behavior and psychology. It argues that bees can demonstrate sophisticated emotions resembling optimism, frustration, playfulness and fear, traits more commonly associated with mammals. Experiments have shown bees can experience PTSD-like symptoms, recognize different human faces, process long-term memories while sleeping, and maybe even dream. Approximately one-third of the American diet, including many fruits, vegetables and nuts, relies on bees for pollination. In the past, bee research has focused on their role in crop pollination, but the work being pioneered by Buchmann and his contemporaries could force an ethical reckoning with how the animals are treated. Can large-scale agriculture and scientific research continue without causing bees to suffer, and is the dominant western culture even capable of accepting that the tiniest of creatures have feelings, too? Buchmann hopes an ethical shift will happen as details about the emotional lives of invertebrates especially bees are shared with the public.

Magnetic Crystals, Guides for Animals, Found in Humans "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

An intriguing claim that human brain cells possess crystals of a highly magnetic mineral known as magnetite was described today by Dr. Joseph Kirschvink, a professor at the California Institute of Technology. The 38-year-old geobiologist said he believed that magnetite crystals enabled animals from bees to whales to navigate by using the earth's magnetic field. He said he doubted that they supported any sensory capability in humans, although he suspected that they might account for the possible influence of strong electromagnetic fields on human health. That magnetite, one of the hardest metals on earth, is synthesized by the human brain "is sure to astound most scientists," Dr. Kirschvink said, but what it is doing there is a "total mystery." It might be a vestige from evolution and serve no purpose, he said. Or it could play a role in biology, explaining why electromagnetic fields have been associated with brain cancer and leukemia and why certain odd blips, called spin echoes, show up on magnetic resonance images of the brain. Each human brain on average contains seven billion particles of magnetite, weighing a total of one-millionth of an ounce. Magnetite interacts over a million times more strongly with external magnetic fields than any other biological material, Dr. Kirschvink said, including the iron in red blood cells. If only one cell in a million contains magnetite, he said, magnetic fields could exert an effect on the tissue.

Mushrooms communicate with each other using up to 50 'words', scientist claims "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Mathematical analysis of the electrical signals fungi seemingly send to one another has identified patterns that bear a striking structural similarity to human speech. Previous research has suggested that fungi conduct electrical impulses through long, underground filamentous structures called hyphae similar to how nerve cells transmit information in humans. It has even shown that the firing rate of these impulses increases when the hyphae of wood-digesting fungi come into contact with wooden blocks, raising the possibility that fungi use this electrical "language" to share information about food or injury with distant parts of themselves, or with hyphae-connected partners such as trees. Prof Andrew Adamatzky at the University of the West of England's unconventional computing laboratory in Bristol analysed the patterns of electrical spikes generated by four species of fungi enoki, split gill, ghost and caterpillar fungi. The research, published in Royal Society Open Science, found that these spikes often clustered into trains of activity, resembling vocabularies of up to 50 words, and that the distribution of these "fungal word lengths" closely matched those of human languages. The most likely reasons for these waves of electrical activity are to maintain the fungi's integrity analogous to wolves howling to maintain the integrity of the pack or to report newly discovered sources of attractants and repellants to other parts of their mycelia, Adamtzky suggested.

Shiba Inu Community Destroys 3.26 Billion SHIB in April Amid Price Decline "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Shibburn reports that over 3.26 billion Shiba Inu tokens were burned in April 2023 across 125 transactions. These figures are lower than the total SHIB burns in March 2023, which was 6.78 billion SHIB tokens burned through 540 transactions.

The SHIB burn process involves sending Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens to an address known as a burn address. This address is a designated address created to hold the tokens to be burned permanently.

The Shiba Inu community carried out these burn transactions to reduce the total supply of SHIB in circulation. Notably, a tokens scarcity sees demand higher than supply leading to a boost in price. Despite the high number of token burns, SHIBs price is still declining.

Koyo Retains Top SHIB Burner Status From March 2023

Koyo (KYO) retains its top SHIB burner status for a second consecutive month burning a whopping 2.59 billion tokens. It burnt 6.15 billion SHIB tokens in March 2023 through multiple transactions.

The largest of its burn transactions in March was a transfer of 924.15 million SHIB to the dead wallet on March 17. Also, Koyo burned another 794.85 million tokens on March 28.

Koyo continued its aggressive burn rate in April 2023, sending 1.10 billion SHIB to the dead wallet on April 9. Also, Koyo followed up with another massive burn event on April 14, burning 1.49 billion SHIB tokens.

However, the burns didnt affect Shiba Inus value as the tokens price is still down by over 2% in the last 24 hours.

The current price slump could be a temporary pullback due to the recent market downtrend. One thing that could change the trajectory of the price is the Shibarium upgrade, which is yet to be announced.

Shiba Archives said a top SHIB developer claimed the Shibarium upgrade would be here before May. However, the developer did not specify the year or give further information.

Notably, some SHIB community members reacted to the reduced burn rates in April 2023. A Twitter user, Macguy, stated that the developers dont want to listen to the SHIB communitys calls for more burns. He believes the burns are slow and dragged on purpose...

AVAX Smart Contracts Hit 6-Month High What This Means For Its Price "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

AVAX has been expanding its reach in various areas over the past few months, but one aspect that has seen tremendous growth is its smart contract deployment.

With this significant milestone, many investors and traders alike are speculating whether this development could be the catalyst that propels the Avalanche Network native tokens price to new heights.

Will this newfound growth in smart contracts lead to a surge in AVAXs value?

Contract Deployment Spike Could Boost AVAX Adoption

According to the latest CoinMarketCap data, Avalanche (AVAX) has experienced a minor 2.04% dip in its price over the last 24 hours, but still remains relatively steady at $17.04.

Despite this slight setback, data from Artemis reveals that the network has witnessed a significant spike in contract deployment, which can be a positive indicator for the protocols usage and adoption.

The increase in the number of smart contracts deployed on the Avalanche network suggests that more developers are building dApps and exploring the potential of the platform.

As the number of dApps on the network grows, it can lead to a wider range of use cases for the protocol, attracting more users and projects. This increased adoption and usage can ultimately drive up demand for AVAX.

If the trend of contract de...

Solana (SOL) Retests Multi-Month Trend Line, Bulls Prevailing Again? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Sunday nights crypto market-wide correction has once again sent the Solana price down to a level that is crucial for price action in the coming weeks. SOL has been forming an ascending trend line on the 1-day chart since late December last year, which could lead the price back into bullish territory, as NewsBTC reported.

Already in the last few days, the Solana price had tested the trend line (black) before a decent bounce to the upside took place. However, yesterdays price action pushed SOL back to the trendline. However, as the 4-hour chart shows, SOL has shown strength and remained above the trendline.

Solana price SOL USD

The retracement has also caused Solanas Relative Strength Index (RSI) to reset on the 4-hour chart. With the RSI near the overbought zone at 68, there has now been a healthy pullback to 41. Thus, the 4-hour chart continues to look bullish.

A look at the 1-hour chart continues to show a similarly strong picture. For SOLs bulls, today is all about closing above the $22 level to stay above the trendline. If successful, the bulls can once again tackle resistance at $22.78 before the big challenge: the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (blue).

Internet Computer (ICP) Social Dominance Hits 23-Month High, Top In? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Data shows the Internet Computer (ICP) social dominance has hit a 23-month high, a sign that a local top may be here for the cryptocurrency.

Internet Computer Investors Are Showing Signs Of Euphoria

According to data from the on-chain analytics firm Santiment, a large number of investors are talking about ICP following its recent bullish momentum. A relevant indicator here is the social volume, which measures the total number of social media text documents that contain mentions of a given asset.

The text documents here refer to a collection of data assembled by Santiment that includes posts and messages from social media websites like Reddit, Telegram, and Twitter.

This indicator only gauges the unique mentions of the asset in question, meaning that even if a forum post includes the term several times, its contribution towards the social volume still remains one unit.

Now, social dominance is a metric that compares the social volume of the given cryptocurrency with that of the top 100 assets (by market cap) combined. Here, the coin of interest is Internet Computer, so what this metric tells is how much of the discussion on the Internet related to cryptocurrencies, in general, includes the topic of ICP.

Here is a chart that shows the trend in the ICP social dominance over the last year:

Internet Computer ICP Social Dominance

As shown in the above graph, the Internet Computer social dominance has observed a very sharp spike recently as the price of the asset has shown some bullish momentum.

This latest uptrend in the assets value has been quite extraordinary when compared to the rest of the market, as most of the cryptocurrencies have only shown a flat movement or a decline in the same period.

Rapid upwards momentum like this can bring a lot of eyes toward an asset, and so, discussions about it naturally follow on social media. Because of this reason, its not unexpected that the ICP social dominance has shot up during this period of bullish divergence from the rest of the sector.

From the chart, its visible that the metric saw a large spike of similar scale only a week or so before this latest surge, and this spike too occurred as Internet Computer enjoyed some rapid rise.

Shortly after this previous spike in social dominance took place, however, the...

Ordinals Are An Attack On El Salvadors Bitcoin Mission "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Support for a government-supported Ordinal collection from El Salvador demonstrates misunderstanding of what Bitcoin is really for.

This is an opinion editorial by Jaime Garca, a Salvadoran-Canadian Bitcoiner and co-host of Global Bitcoin Fest.

The hype around Bitcoin NFTs, made possible through inscriptions that use the Ordinal protocol, is undeniable. Trader and art dealer Steven Hay has even suggested that the government of El Salvador release an official Ordinal art collection to potentially raise money to fund its proposed Bitcoin City or otherwise accelerate Bitcoin adoption.

Unfortunately, this suggestion seems to lack an on-the-ground Salvadoran perspective and, in my view, is a blatant attack on El Salvadors Bitcoin objectives.

El Salvador turned to Bitcoin because of the qualities that make it sovereign money, one that is not beholden to foreign powers or organizations. While a couple of the leading value propositions for using Bitcoin in El Salvador are to attract private, foreign investment and to spur tourism, the promise of hard money that is unconfiscatable, uncensorable and resistant to manipulation is why El Salvador made bitcoin legal tender.

However, Ordinals do not provide any of the hard money benefits of Bitcoin.

NFTs On Bitcoin Are As Bad As NFTs Elsewhere

The Bitcoin community has seen recent, vivid examples demonstrating that NFTs are bad investments.

For example, a Malaysian investor who bought Jack Dorseys first tweet NFT for $2.5 million struggled to find bids when he later tried to sell it. Even El Salvador President Nayib Bukele appeared to recognize the lack of real value in NFTs as he auctioned his tweet announcing the countrys Bitcoin Law approval in its legislative assembly the NFT was never sold and Bukele did not pursue the endeavor any further.

Numerous maximalists and Salvadorans have been discouraging Bitcoin NFTs because they believe that folks who get rug-pulled could suffer significant financial harm. For many of these critics, defending Bitcoins social layer and calling out potential scams is essential to k....

Why I dont believe there ever was a Covid virus "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

I've grown increasingly frustrated about the way debate is controlled around the topic of origins of the alleged novel virus, SARS-CoV-2, and I have come to disbelieve its ever been in circulation, causing massive scale illness and death.

Concerningly, almost no one will entertain this possibility, despite the fact that molecular biology is the easiest discipline in which to cheat. Thats because you really cannot do it without computers, and sequencing requires complex algorithms and, importantly, assumptions. Tweaking algorithms and assumptions, you can hugely alter the conclusions. This raises the question of why there is such an emphasis on the media storm around Fauci, Wuhan and a possible lab escape. After all, the perpetrators have significant control over the media. Theres no independent journalism at present. It is not as though they need to embarrass the establishment.  I put it to readers that theyve chosen to do so. So who do I mean by they and the perpetrators?  There are a number of candidates competing for this position, with their drug company accomplices, several of whom are named in Paula Jardines excellent five-part series for TCW, Anatomy of the sinister Covid project. High on the list is the enabling World Economic Forum and their many political acolytes including Justin Trudeau and Jacinda Ardern. But that doesnt answer the question why are they focusing on the genesis of the virus. In my view, they are doing their darnedest to make sure you regard this event exactly as they want you to. Specifically, that there was a novel virus. Im not alone in believing that myself at the beginning of the pandemic, but over time Ive seen sufficient evidence to cast strong doubt on that idea. Additionally, when considered as part...

On May 16, Jupiter exits fiery Aries and enters grounded Taurus. Jupiter spends about 12 months in each zodiac sign, so its movement is said to reflect the years theme.
Jupiter in Taurus will shine a light on our finances, the financial industry, and our sense of self-worth. Taurus is also associated with indulgence, abundance, and consistent growth. Because Jupiter is the planet of expansion, all of these themes can be amplified by this new placement. The magical Silver Gate Portal is then activated by the Sun aligning with the Royal Star, Aldebaran, at the end of the month. Aldebaran represents intelligence and our higher mind. It can boost our third eye and assist us in downloading new information. Aldebaran is also thought to be the final resting place for souls before their new incarnation on Earth. May 2023 is a power month that will most likely be a watershed moment for many of us. Listen to your intuition and follow it. Allow it to be your guide as you navigate the month ahead. I trust myself is a powerful mantra you can use. Lets now look at the months important dates.

A Torrent Of Layoffs! Here Are 16 Large Companies That Have Just Announced Mass Terminations "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

by Michael, The biggest companies in the United States are giving the axe to hundreds of thousands of workers, but this should not come as a shock to any of us.  Officials at the Federal Reserve were warned over and over again that they were going to create an extremely harsh economic environment if they aggressively raised interest rates, and that is exactly what has transpired.  We havent seen a tsunami of layoffs like this since 2008 and 2009, and the outlook for the months ahead is extremely bleak. Many of us warned the Fed that it would be mind-numbingly stupid to push interest rates much higher just as we were entering a major economic downturn, but of course the Fed didnt want to listen. We were told that they are the experts and that they knew precisely what they were doing. And now a nightmare scenario is playing out right in front of our eyes. The following are 16 large companies that have just announced mass terminations #1 Tyson: Tyson Foods Inc (TSN.N) will eliminate about 10% of corporate jobs and 15% of senior leadership roles, Chief Executive Donnie King told employees on Wednesday. #2 Lyft: Ride-hailing app Lyft will lay off 1,072 employees, roughly 26% of its corporate workforce, and wont hire for an additional 250 positions, the company said in an SEC filing Thursday. #3 Deloitte: Deloitte will cut around 1,200 jobs or 1.5% of its U.S. wo...

Scientists Say Theyve Got A Blueprint For Creating A Wormhole In A Laboratory Setting "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Yall, as a child of the 90s, I will forever quote Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park when he says that the scientists there were so preoccupied wondering if they could do something they didnt stop to wonder whether or not they should.

And honestly, I feel like there are way too many stories where scientists arent worried enough about setting up the new hit disaster movie.

Because creating a wormhole in a lab honestly seems like a recipe for disaster.

Heres What PEPE And SHIB Have In Common, But Can It Catch Up To Shiba Inu? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

The meme coin PEPE is currently experiencing a spectacular rise that hardly any other altcoin, apart from Shiba Inu, has experienced. Within just two weeks, the meme coin, which is based on a cartoon character created by Matt Furie back in 2005, has (almost) broken into the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap. At press time, PEPE was ranked #101.

And as on-chain analytics platform Nansen shared in a recent analysis, the two meme coins share other similarities: namely, numerous holders. According to Nansen, PEPE has more than 54,000 holders after just two weeks. While this sounds impressive, it is still small compared to the 1.3 million Shiba Inu holders.

Every 16th PEPE Holder Also Owns SHIB

It is worth noting, however, that one in 16 PEPE holders also owns Shiba Inu (SHIB). As Nansen analyzed, there are over 3,350 wallets holding both meme coins. So before PEPE can even come close to competing with SHIB, the holder base will have to expand substantially.

An analysis of the largest holders shows that the two exchanges MEXC and Gate hold large amounts of both memecoins. But did you know Wintermute also has 2 contract addresses trading both tokens? notes Nansen.

Wintermute is a leading global crypto market maker that works with the worlds top crypto exchanges and projects to provide liquidity. Wintermute has an estimated on-chain valuation of $230 million, with Arbitrum ($54 million), Optimism ($47 million) and DYDX ($32 million) being the largest holdings.

Nansen also writes, Keep in mind that this wallet holds over $37.8 million in tokens, the majority of which are WETH,...

With the exception of Kara Walkers provocative cut paper narratives, silhouettes havent struck us as a particularly revealing art form.

Perhaps we would have felt differently in the early 19th-century, when silhouettes offered a quick and affordable alternative to oil portraits, and photography had yet to be invented.

Self-taught silhouette artist William Bache traveled the eastern seaboard, and later to New Orleans and Cuba, plying his trade with a physiognotrace, a device that helped him outline subjects profiles on folded sheets of light paper.

Once a profile had been captured, Bache carefully cut inside the tracing and affixed the hollow-cut surrounding sheet to black paper, creating the appearance of a hand-cut black silhouette on a white background.

Parrots Taught to FaceTime Each Other Become Less Lonely, a New Study Shows "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Its telling that the avian participants in a recent study wherein pet parrots, assisted by their owners, learned to make video calls to others of their kind were recruited from the online educational forum Parrot Kindergarten.

In the above footage, the humans hopeful, high-pitched cajoling, as they encourage their birds to interact with a new friend, carries a strong whiff of those Mommy and Me classes where a dozen or so adults sit crosslegged in a circle, shaking tambourines and brightly warbling Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, while an equal number of toddlers wander around, markedly less invested in the proceedings.

Though, really, who am I to judge? I dont have a parrot, and its been over two decades since my youngest child required parental interference to foment social interaction

This Person Wonders What They Owe Their Former Adoptive Mother. The Internet Responds. "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

The more we learn about child development and child psychology, the more people are realizing that adoption is not the easy fix, the better way out, or a simple solution when it comes to the appropriate development of the child in question.

OP is a poster child example; after losing their mother around age 5, they were adopted by their stepmother even though they did not want to be, and expressed that opinion clearly.

My former adoptive mother was also my stepmother. She and my father forced the adoption on me against my will when I was 7 because she couldnt have children biologically, my mom was dead and they felt like she deserved the official mother title and a place on my birth certificate.

I never wanted it and begged them not to but was ignored.

They went ahead anyway, and OP never forgave them. They went no contact after they turned 18 and asked their maternal grandparents to adopt them so the original adoption would be null and void.

They even lied and said dad was sick to push the judges hand, because apparently with me saying no, they needed something that would make a judge think it would be in my best interest. So they pretended dad was worried something would get worse and the judge decided it was safer for me.

I never forgave them.

I went no contact 7 months ago when I turned 18.

I asked my maternal grandparents to adult adopt me to erase the original adoption.

Her stepmother/adoptive mother always enjoyed celebrating the US and UK Mothers Day, and when OP wished her grandmother a happy mothers day and thanked her for the adoption, all heck broke loose.

My stepmother is English and ever since I knew her she celebrated both the UK Mothers Day and our Mothers Day. And then around midnight...

In recent years, advancements in bio-hybrid technology have raised eyebrows and stirred controversy. The concept of combining animals with machines to create bio-hybrids has been a topic of intrigue and concern for many. However, what if I told you that the origins of these experiments date back to a time before the tragic events of 9/11? In a recent interview between Annie Jacobsen and Joe Rogan, shocking revelations were made about DARPA's secretive projects involving bio-hybrids, including robo rats, pigeon hearts, and brain-chipped moths.

Atheist Republic News Summary: The Unstoppable Rise of Islam in Japan "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

  • The Unstoppable Rise of Islam in Japan

https://www.atheistrepublic.com/news/unstoppable-rise-islam-japan

Location: Japan

Imagine this: In just over a decade, Japan's Muslim population has more than doubled, making Islam the fastest-growing religion in the Land of the Rising Sun! With a whopping 110% increase from 110,000 followers in 2010 to approximately 230,000 by the end of 2022, Islam is making its mark in a country where it once had little presence. What's behind this remarkable growth? Two key factors come into play: a surge in immigration from Muslim-majority countries and an increase in marriages between Muslims and ethnic Japanese. As Japan's population dwindles, the demand for foreign workers is set to rise, opening the door for even more growth in the Muslim community. With a younger demographic than other groups in the country, the future looks bright for second and third-generation Japanese Muslims. And with half of Muslims in Japan being married, the likelihood of this would further increase, coupled with other factors such as low anti-Muslim sentiment in Japan and curiosity among the general public. And guess what? There are now around 90 mosques dotted across the nation, a far cry from the 1980s when mosques were virtually non-existent.

In a shocking turn of events, a woman tragically lost her life in Iran during a heated hijab dispute on April 23rd. A dramatic fight between the country's paramilitary Basij forces and a group of people was caught on camera, quickly going viral on social media. The details of the fight and what led to the woman's death were unclear and subject to debate. Reports suggest that the unnamed woman, who was either 59 or 60, died due to cardiac arrest in the hospital. However, some Iranians suggested that the older woman was beaten, based on footage of the scuffle. Iran International reported that Basij forces ordered women in the group to comply with mandatory hijab rules while visiting a park. When the group refused to obey, a fight broke out...

SOL Price Prediction: Solana Drops But Its Too Early to Say Bulls Have Given Up "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Solana started a downside correction from $24 against the US Dollar. SOL price might start a fresh increase if it stays above the $21.50 support.

  • SOL price is correcting lower from the $24 resistance against the US Dollar.
  • The price is now trading below $23.50 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours).
  • There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $22.50 on the 4-hour chart of the SOL/USD pair (data source from Kraken).
  • The pair could start a fresh increase if it stays above the $21.50 support.

Solana Price Remains Supported

This past week, Solanas price formed a base above the $20.50 level. SOL started a fresh increase and was able to clear the $21.50 resistance. There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $22.50 on the 4-hour chart of the SOL/USD pair.

However, the bears were active near the $24 resistance. A high is formed near $23.99 and the price is now correcting gains, similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

SOL declined below the $23.50 and $23.00 levels. There was a drop below the 50% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $20.39 swing low to the $23.99 high. It is now trading below $23.50 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours).

SOL Price Prediction

Source: SOLUSD on TradingView.com

On the upside, immediate resistance is near the $22.50 level. The next major resistance is near the $23 zone and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours). A close above the $23 level could resend the price toward the $24 resistance zone. Any more gains might send the price toward the $25 level.

More Losses in SOL?

If SOL fails to clear the $23 resistance, it could continue to move down. Initial support on the down...

When Is It OK For A Kid To Tell Parent Hard Truths? The Internet Responds "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Many people have this idea in their heads that children should show their parents respect simply because theyre their parents.

There are all kinds of parents, though, and once children become adults, do the rules still apply?

OP is the oldest child, and her father largely raised her because her mother was busy building her own career.

I (18f) am my moms (41f) first and oldest child. She and my dad werent together and I lived with him from a very young age because she was busy with her career.

So, while she was around for my younger years, she wasnt as present as she told me she wouldve liked to be.

Now her mother is remarried to a man OP likes and they have a new child of their own. OP enjoys being a sister, but is realistic about how their relationship will look, given their age gap.

She has a husband(38m). Hes a nice guy, and he treats her like a queen so Im happy shes met him. He and my mom wanted a kid of their own so they ended up having my little brother earlier this year.

I love my brother, and I like spending time with him, but Im very aware that our age gap is going to make a normal sibling relationship a bit unachievable.

Shes also a student, and has been awarded a full-ride scholarship for a study abroad year. Shes thrilled, and her dad and stepdad were excited for her as well her mom, not so much.

I was a dual enrolled college/high school student, so I got my associates the same time I got my HS diploma. The college I transferred to has a study abroad program that I got a full ride scholarship for. Im set to go next year, and Im seriously so excited.

Nikkis Weekly Tarot Reading: May 1-7, 2023 "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The cards pictured are from the Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck.

Nine of Disks and Seven of Disks

This week we enter the month of May and have a Scorpio Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on May 5. The beginning of a new month and full moons always always call us to reflection and our cards help guide us through this time.

Our first card is the Nine of Disks. This card is about receiving back the energy we give out. It tells us that we will begin to see the results of all our work and investments. We will start to experience a return of what we have been putting out into the world.

This could be connected to our finances, our personal relationships, or our physical health. Disks are all about those tangible elements, so be on the lookout for those gains.

This card rarely indicates sudden success or wealth from out of nowhere. The gains this card points to are from our hard work and dedication. Contemplate what areas you have been working on.

Have you been putting in the time to build strong relationships? Have you gone after your health or career goals? Have you made important changes with your future in mind?

Your efforts will not go unnoticed this week and you will start to see the fruits of your labor. When you spot any positive gains, take the time to be grateful. The act of gratitude only makes our gifts grow.

The Nine of Disks calls us to reflect on all our hard work and to be thankful for the good things. Investing in ourselves and others is always worth our time. Taking time to appreciate ourselves and those around us will only make our lives more beautiful.

Our second card is the Seven of Disks, also referred to as Failure. This card is here to remind us that even with all our efforts, gains, and gratitude, we need to make space for failure. If we can accept this as part of life, it can be one of our best teachers.

Failing is a messy business. It is challenging and fear-provoking. Whether it is a failed relationship, business, or personal goal, we can start to doubt ourselves when we fail.

When we face a failure, we can believe there is something wrong with us and we are doomed to fail forever. It can obscure the light at the end of the tunnel and we can feel that failure is somehow permanent.

However, failures make us much stronger and wiser than successes ever could. Failures teach us how to love ourselves regardless of our outside circumstances and how to persevere when faced with heartbreak.

The truth is that nothing is wrong with you. Failure happens to every single person, regardless of what you see on the outside.

The Failure card has seven coins in a pattern that looks like eyes peering toward us. There are dark blue feathers throughout the card as well. I have always seen these coins and feathers as creating the shape of an owl.

Owls have long...

ASPCA gives only 2% of its budget to pet shelters, while promoting radical and elitist anti-farmer policies, bombshell report finds "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

BY CANDACE HATHAWAY, A think tank released a new bombshell report this week revealing that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals only provides 2% of its total budget to pet shelters throughout the United States, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars and providing many employees with six-figure salaries. The Center for the Environment and Welfare, a new think tank dedicated to sustainability and animal welfare, released a report exposing the ASPCA, a nonprofit organization formed to prevent animal cruelty, for deceptively using donors' dollars to support "radical and elitist" anti-farmer policies instead of funding animal shelters. In conjunction with the shocking report, the think tank announced the launch of a new media campaign to "expose the duplicity" of the ASPCA. According to CEW, the ASPCA's most recent tax filings revealed that the nonprofit had $390 million in revenue and $575 million in assets, including roughly $11 million in offshore Caribbean accounts. "The same filings show that only about 2% of the ASPCA's budget is given as grants to community pet shelters," CEW reported. The report alleged that 259 ASPCA employees made six-figure incomes, including the organization's CEO, Matt Bershadker, who made $856,785. Despite its misleading name, the ASPCA only operates one animal adoption center and is not affiliated with local SPCAs, CEW stated. The think tank also slammed the nonprofit for attempting to implement harmful agricultural policies that would further increase food costs for Americans. The ASPCA and 40 other animal rights groups are leading an effort to...

Chinas Undeclared War With the US "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Feds make largest fentanyl bust in US history

Something the Democrats would prefer you didnt know and that the media refuse to report on with the exception of a few conservative outlets is the fact that war has already begun between the US and Communist China. Recently a container ship came into a Mexican port and was raided by authorities. Aboard was 52,000 pounds of fentanyl. Enough to kill 11 billion people. That shipment was headed for the US border like so much of it already has killing 110,000 Americans this past year alone! China is working directly with the drug cartels to distribute the deadly opioid that is 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times more potent than morphine.

War on several levels

The Chinese government has released an actual book containing plans for unrestricted warfare and poisoning the US from within with powerful and addictive drugs as just one part of their strategy. Draping the internet with counter intelligence misinformation, constant cyber-attacks against our military and private infrastructure are underway and have been for some time now. In 2012 under the Obama Administration the Office of Personnel Management was hacked by the Chinese exposing the records of 4 million government employees!

Image result for tensions in the South China seas

Industrial vulnerability

Chinas intention to invade Taiwan a US ally that we get 80% of our microprocessor chips from for industry such as car making, appliances, and electronics, is planned within the next 5 years. Without Taiwans electronic chips all US industry would come to a halt! This would become an existential threat to America. In the South China Sea where the Communist Chinese violate international oceanic territorial law and build artificial islands where they can aim missiles at US Naval ships and fly jet fighters off the decks of these manmade islands, tensions mount. Without the US to patrol shipping lanes in the region, China can hold cargo shipping hostage of all nations who have container vessels on the China Sea. Several reported incidents of Chinese jet fighters making aggressive and dangerous moves on US warplanes and even a Canadian Royal Air Force transport aircraft have occurred.

She Caught Him Going Through Her Purse. Did She Overreact By Filing A Report? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Most women would probably agree that their purse or handbag is a pretty private thing. Aside from being the place you keep important document and money, its almost, like, an extension of our bodies.

OP has a disorganized co-worker who is always forgetting things he needs to make his day run smoothly. OP likes him and often lends him things like a phone charger to help him out.

Theres this coworker Martin 31M. who always forgets where he leaves his stuff. He always forgets his phone charger at home and borrows mine to use. I dont mind lending him my charger.

Hes a nice person and I love maintaining a good relationship with my coworkers. Especially!! male coworkers.

Then one day she arrived at her desk to see him going through her bag. He claimed he needed a charger right away and was just looking for it, but she told him it was a huge violation of her privacy and trust.

The other day, I was in the restroom then when I walked back into the office, I saw Martin with both hands inside my purse literally looking through it. I was shocked. I have highly personal stuff that I carry in my purse.

I freaked out and snatched my purse out of his hands asking what he was doing. He got nervous and said he was looking for my charger.

I asked why he thought it was okay for him to look through my purse and he said that, since I always lend him my charger then he thought I wouldnt mind if he looked for it in my purse when he couldnt ask me because I was out of the office and he needed it right then.

I told him he violated my privacy and disrespected my boundaries.

It didnt end there, though, because she reported him at work.

I went and filed a report with the companys headquarters after telling them what happe...

A Crowd-Pleasing Party of Post-Impressionists "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

LONDON Group shows are often multi-tentacular affairs, squirming around in so many different directions at once. In short, pure octopi. Or, as someone or other is once said to have remarked of Life (was it Mark Twain or Winston Churchill or Arnold Toynbee? Your guess is as good as mine): Its just one damned thing after another

But surely this cant be the case with After Impressionism: Inventing Modern Art, the show that recently opened at the National Gallery? Isnt this exhibition all about the legacy of Impressionism? Not really. Not quite. The chronological span is (relatively) clear enough: the three or so decades between the end of Impressionism and the First World War. But the underlying argument feels much less clear and much less focused. It often feels like a breeze, at breakneck speed, through much of what came after (and some of what came before, too), without caring too stringently about the legacy business.

Why, for example, is this blowsy nude by Lovis Corinth part of the mix? Whats he doing here? Ah yes, its...

To get there, visitors snake through the halls of The Met, past Renaissance sculptures and Medieval triptychs, before stepping into the elevator that takes them to the uppermost level. The Ancient Egyptian-inspired roof installation mirrors the historical fixations visitors passed on their way up, but a closer look reveals the project to be hyper-specific to South Central Los Angeles, the predominantly Black neighborhood where Halsey grew up and currently lives.

The monumental artwork is made of 750 fiberglass and concrete tiles and comprises a 22-foot-tall roofless temple, four sphinxes (with faces of people Halsey knows in South Central LA, including her mother and brother), four columns, and four tombs. (Los Angeless Hammer Museum

Dunbar Spring near downtown Tucson, Arizona is a neighborhood with unpaved sidewalks lined with native, food-bearing trees and shrubs fed by rainwater diverted from city streets. One single block has over 100 plant species. This urban food forest was planted almost 30 years ago and provides food for residents and roughage for livestock. The tree canopy also provides relief to residents in one of the hottest cities in the nation. Dunbar Spring is a model for other areas grappling with increased heat, drought and food insecurity.

Were creating a living pantry, said Brad Lancaster, a resident and co-founder of the Dunbar/Spring Neighborhood Foresters organization, which planted the urban food forest. The plan, headed up by Lancaster, was to plant multi-use drought-tolerant shade trees in streetside basins that could capture rainwater and create a more livable community, he said.

Artist Assembles 897,560 Hand-Cut Cardboard Pieces Into a Massive Roller Coaster Sculpture "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Artist Assembles 897,560 Hand-Cut Cardboard Pieces Into a Massive Roller Coaster Sculpture

Cardboard Roller Coaster Sculpture by Daniel Agdag

Melbourne-based artist Daniel Agdag fashioned a miniature amusement park completely from cardboard. Titled Lattice, this intricate structure captures the special link between New York and Melbourne while also celebrating roller coasters as a metaphor for the ups and downs of life.

Agdag spent two years constructing this 10-foot-long sculpture, which was commissioned by the New York City Department of Education and NYC School Construction Authority Public Art for Public Schools. It references two real-life amusement parks: Coney Island Amusement Park and Melbourne Luna Park. The latter was based on the original Coney Island. To mimic the engineering of one of the oldest wooden rollercoasters in the world, Agdag assembled the truss section from 897,560 hand-cut cardboard pieces.

The banking twists and turns created by unique geometry offer unanticipated surprises and play, Agdag says in his artist statement. The long downward drops powered by gravity evoke a sense of dread before the opposing force lifts skyward countering that sensation euphorically.

While this sculpture is impressive from afar, to truly grasp the level of work that went into it, you must pay attention to the numerous details layered within the complex structure. It's truly a sight to behold.

Scroll down to see more images of Lattice, and be sure to follow Agdag's Instagram to keep up to date with his latest projects.

Loving the Tree of Life: Annie Dillard on How to Bear Your Mortality

To die is different from what any one supposed, and luckier, wrote Walt Whitman a century and a half before Richard Dawkins considered the luckiness of death as a radiant token of the improbable odds of having lived at all. Death the harrowing fact of our mortality is the central animating force of life, the one great terror for which we have devised the coping mechanisms of love and art. Everything we make, everything we do, is a bid for bearing our transience. And yet this is the native poetry of the cosmos in a universe churned by entropy, the very fact of our impermanence is lifes most enduring source of meaning.

That is what the uncommonly poetic and penetrating Annie Dillard explores throughout her book For the Time Being (public library), published in the final year of the worlds deadliest century.

Is It Rude To Not Give Up Your Seat On The Airplane So Others Can Sit Together? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

Traveling is a stressful prospect for many people, and when youre on the go with children, that stress can multiply quickly. Most families prefer to sit together on an airplane so that the parents can support each other and help if there are issues.

That said, we all know that choosing seats on planes can be tricky, and that you cant always get what you want without paying a pretty penny.

This person knew they were in for a long flight, so they paid a bit more to get the seat they wanted, hoping to be that much more comfortable.

So I travelled home today from Greece. The flight was roughly 10 hours and around this time of year its extremely hectic.

I booked my ticket specifically to be closer to the front of the plane so I can be closer to the gate when its time to get out.

I personally hate traveling so I spent a bit more money to be closer.

Once on the plane, a family asked them to change seats so they could sit together, but they wanted OP to move to a seat that was significantly cheaper than the one they paid extra for.

When I got on the plane, a family of four approached me and asked if I could switch spots. Normally Id be okay with that but switching spots would mean moving back 20 rows down which leaves me at an inconvenience and I would not be getting my moneys worth.

I rejected and said that I would like to keep my seat.

When they said no, the mother went off, trying to publicly embarrass or shame OP into doing what she wanted.

The woman said that I was being an a$$hole and I should just give up my seat so she could sit with her husband and kids (ouch right in front of her kids too). I said, re...

Towers in Doha Designed To Look Like Crossed Swords Are the Sites of Two Luxury Hotels

Katara Towers in Doha

Photo: Shakeel_MS/Depositphotos

On the banks of the Persian Gulf, a new hospitality tower rises up in the sky. But this is no ordinary building. The Katara Towers cross like the two swords and are meant to pay homage to Qatar's national emblem. The building is shared by two luxury hotels, the Fairmont Doha and Raffles, with each taking up one of the curved towers. Located in the city's green district Lusail, Katara Towers opened to the public in January 2023.

The two hotels divide the 300,000 square meters of space within the building and both manage to pack high-end luxury into every corner. Raffles is an all-suite accommodation offering stunning views of the Gulf and downtown. Most of its 132 suites have an outdoor terrace, and each features a personal butler service that can help cater the experiences to guests' needs. Some suites have specific themes, such as a Parisian suite designed to look like a Haussmann apartment in Saint-Germain-des-Prs.

Sprawling over two entire floors, the Royal Suite is the epitome of luxury and is designed for visiting dignitaries and VIPs. Loving Pet Parent Builds a Tennis Ball Catapult So His Pup Can Always Play Fetch

Dog Playing Fetch With Catapult

Photo: GIF from Reddit

Playing fetch is one of the most fun parts of having a dog. But sometimes, our furry friends have much more energy than we do, and they're a bit bummed when we're ready to stop the game. Wouldn't it be great if they could catch as many tennis balls as their little hearts desired? A man called George G. wondered about this and, with the help of some age-old technology, created a device for his dog Olive to play fetch on her own.

The man, who is known as u/GoesUp on Reddit, shared a video of the catapult he made for his pup. He describes his invention as the first-ever recorded completely dog-operated tennis ball catapult. Despite its simple mechanism, getting the design right wasn't straightforward. He recalls turning to trial and error when it came to elements like overall height, weight balance, and cord attachment spots. Just thinking and tinkering. I tried to find plans on the internet and couldn't, so I started playing around, he wrote. According to a video posted to his YouTube channel, he built the first iteration about 12 years ago.

When asked about the details of his invention, he explained, The arm has a hole in it and pivots on a thin metal rod. He also went on to give further insight into the static part, which is made of two parallel boards. The arm swings between them, and pivots ona big nail. The nail is at the top. Paddle is indeed attached with an old hinge.

Above all, the catapult would be no...

The Fall Of Bitcoin In The Central African Republic: Why This Legal Tender Experiment Failed "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

<p class="subtitle">Just a year after making bitcoin legal tender, the Central African Republic (CAR) abandoned its plans to revitalize its country. Why?</p> <figure><a href="https://bm.b.tc/bitcoin2023-conf-tickets" rel= "nofollow"><img height="88" src= "https://bitcoinmagazine.com/.image/c_fit%2Ccs_srgb%2Cq_auto:good%2Cw_620/MTk2NDE0NDk3MjI3ODEwMjkw/bitcoin-2023-website-article-banner.png" width="620"></a></figure> <p><em>This is an opinion editorial by Jonathan Buck, founder of JB & GS Mining GmbH, a German bitcoin mining hosting company.

In April 2022, the Central African Republic (CAR) adopted bitcoin as legal tender, becoming the second nation in history to do so. However, just a year later, the nation reversed its decision. But what are the reasons behind this failure in the CAR?

Challenging Economic Conditions

The CAR, one of the poorest countries in the world, faces numerous obstacles, such as political instability, inadequate infrastructure and food shortages.

In the 2018 Human Development Index, the CAR ranked second to last, with around 79% of its 4.7 million residents living in poverty. More than three million people in the country are reported to require humanitarian assistance while more than 85% of the population lacks electricity.

One of the significant barriers to the success of the Bitcoin project in the CAR was surely the countrys limited internet access. With only about <a href= "https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/IT.NET.USER.ZS?locations=CF">10% percent of the population having access to the internet</a>, widespread adoption of digital currencies was highly unlikely.</p> <p>While Bitcoin has been helping to bank the unbanked globally, the digital currency alone cannot solve all of a country's underlying infrastructure problems. And while Bitcoin can be resilient off the grid, the lack of basic amenities such as electricity and internet in CAR likely hindered the spread and usability of Bitcoin there.</p> <h2>Skepticism And International Concern</h2> <p>The introduction of bitcoin as legal tender in CAR was met with skepticism, partly due to the countrys close ties with Russia, raising suspicions about its potential plans to <a href= "https://african.business/2022/10/technology-information/is-central-african-republics-crypto-push-linked-to-russia"> use cryptocurrencies to bypa...

Would You Kick Out A Friend For Insulting Your Dog? "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

For many pet owners, their dogs and cats (and bunnies and birds, etc) are like family. Theyre treated that way, loved that way, and, when necessary, defended that way.

OP has a hearing disability, and since moving to a new house with her golden retriever, has struggled with getting flashing doorbell signals installed.

I F27 recently moved into my new house. I have a golden retriever named Nala and she is the sweetest.

Im Deaf, too. That bit is important. When I moved in, I had a bit of trouble having flashing light doorbells put in and there was a while I had to go without.

My friends and family know to give me a call when they drop by instead of ringing the doorbell but unfortunately I have missed many a package this way.

So, she has missed some visitors and packages just because she didnt know they were there at least, she did until her dog figured out what was going on and began to alert her.

OP didnt train her, the dog just saw a job that needed to be done and did it.

For some reason, Nala caught onto this. At one point she began letting me know when someone was at the door. Shed do this in multiple ways. If I was in the living room where I can see the front door, shed go and paw at the door, or if I was upstairs shed come and gently headbutt me to let me know someones there. It took me a while to catch on to what she was trying to do, though.

And now, even though I have my doorbell installed she still does it. I did not teach her how to do any of this. She just decided to help me out lol.

One day, a friend came over to visit. First, the friend gave OP crap about naming her dog Nala like &#822...

Everything is about to blow up as God destroys Evil Planet Earth has arrived at the most important crossroads in civilisation. With the aim of enriching themselves, the globalists, with the help of the political establishment, have done great damage to our planet, society, industry, culture, etc.   Now the globalists are beginning to panic after their corruption is recognised and confirmed all over the world. The oppressors, the cheaters, the exploiters, the slavers, in short all power exercised by a few over all of us will cease to exist. Mother Earth, as the source of feminine energy, will give her children everything they need.   When all ruling powers are removed, and competition gives way to cooperation; then, finally, the time of Abundance and Prosperity will dawn!   When all the awakened, wake up one sleeper, sufficient majority for our complete success is guaranteed. At least 70% awake participation guarantees a smooth transition to a better world, without major chaotic calamities.   We have already won the battle against the Deep State mafia, but the breakthrough without a fight can only come, if the cabal collapses of its own accord, or if the population awakens in large numbers and revolts. Calling on Star Being Support to Lay Down Your Path of Light "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

The multidimensional landscape around us in the Shift is terraforming at an incredible rate. The shadowside ramps up its machinations with the metaverse by the day, but likewise, Star Being support is infusing the field ever stronger. We must not sleepwalk into each day, thinking it will be just like yesterday. As ascending people, we must seize the moment and call on the frequencies of the Star Beings to Lay down a path of divine light through our lives. Here's how.

Star Being Nations Here in Support

It would appear that plenty of people have precious little cognisance of just how much life is changing on the planet right now. If they were aware, they'd be doing something positive about it on a daily basis. Plenty are still sleepwalking into today as if it were yesterday. We cannot afford to do that as the energies of the Shift now heighten and the shadow too writhes in its escalating distractive measures.
Have no fear. We can break down these dense field energies around the planet. If we're committed and aware of the various infusions happening, we can summon Star Being support to help infuse and anchor our star soul frequencies. These are the antidote to intervention. We can literally lay down a path of light. You'll feel held and supported in every step you take.
The question is, what do we need to be focussing on?

Watching for Derailment

First and foremost is to establish coherency and clarity of being in the lower dimensions - so you can anchor infusing higher dimensional light without intervention. What we need to hoist on board, is that there are derailing energies adept at channeling soul consciousness down diversionary alleyways of their own agenda - the Tall Whites for example, mathematical beings created by the old Annunaki who can create diversionary energetic pathways that surreptitiously divert the soul. They're using AI to plot these adjusting channels and pathways. They're tuning into manipulated DNA, from Atlantean times, but also from the various measures of the bogus pandemic. DNA is a receiver/transmitter, through which they can channel derailing influence - you see plenty being drawn into the "metaverse" that way. But it can be broken down and ejected. I've found the aligned Draconian energies extremely effe...

Casper Notches 14% Rally In The Weekly Charts Will CSPR Soar Higher? "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

In the last week, the crypto market has been on an upswing, with most assets recording little amount of market gains. However, CSPR, the native token of the Casper Network, is one of the biggest gainers, surging by 13.9% over the last seven days.

While fairly popular, CSPR has been one of the most impressive tokens of 2023, with a staggering profit record. Chart data from Coingecko shows that the altcoin soared by 60% in the month of April, moving its total market gains in 2023 to a stunning 114.4%.

At the time of writing, CSPR is trading around $0.058, with a 6.5% price jump in the last 24 hours. Its daily trading volume, valued at $14.98 million, is up by 41.65%. Meanwhile, its market cap value is set at an impressive $682.12 million.

Casper

What Is Casper (CSPR), The Future-Proof Blockchain?

Casper is a developer-friendly, business-centered public blockchain designed to serve as a platform for the secure, fast, and efficient development of sustainable blockchain-based products.

Touted as the future-proof blockchain, Casper is the brainchild of product developer Medha Parlikar and angel investor Mrinal Manohar. The Casper mainnet was launched in 2021, and it runs on a unique variant of the proof-of-stake consensus algorithm known as the Highway Protocol.

The Highway Protocol functions as an energy-efficient and flexible consensus protocol, which enables networks to finalize transactions in a non-binary manner, thus allowing blocks on Casper to be created in a faster time than other blockchains.

In addition, Casper offers users upgradeable smart contracts, another unique network feature that allows developers to modify their already deployed contracts, enabling businesses to build blockchain products that adapt to consumer needs and market trends.

Casper is also popular for its low gas fee structure supported by its advanced PoS mechanism. As earlier stated, its native token is known as CSPR and is utilized for payment of network fees, staking, and rewards for network validators.

Will CSPR Soar Higher?

Due to CSPRs remarkable performance, there is much speculation on the ability of the token to maintain its current bullish momentum as investors try to determine profit-making opportunities.

According to the popular crypto prediction site, Coincodex, the investor sentiment presently surrounding CSPR is quite bullish. Meanwhile, its Fear and Greed Index hovers around 60, indicating the t...

Radix (XRD) Gains 14% In The Past Week, Continues Impressive Form "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

XRD, the native token of the Radix network, looks set to end the month in great form, having recorded an impressive 14.2% price surge in the past week. According to data from CoinGecko, the cryptocurrency is the 46th-largest token, with a current market cap of $1.1 billion.

Meanwhile, blue-chip cryptocurrencies BTC and ETH have also gained 5.2% and 1.5%, respectively, in the last seven days.

Radix Up By 167% In 30-Day Price Rally

The past weeks headlines were dominated by the First Republic Banks ongoing crisis and the anticipated return of Bitcoins price to 30k. As a result, the market performance of most altcoins, including Radix, has largely gone under the radar.

CoinGecko data reveals that RDX is one of the best-performing tokens in the last seven days. Interestingly, a broader look at the market shows that this bullish run stretches as far back as a month.

In the past 30 days, XRD has rallied a staggering 167% price increase, reaching a 12-month high of $0.15 level during the period. This price upswing came with a boost in market capitalization, enabling Radix to break into the top 50 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap.

As of this writing, XRD is valued at $0.111545, tallying a 5.1% price jump in the past 24 hours. However, it is worth noting that the coins trading volume slipped by 16.40% in the same period, indicating a recent dip in market activity.

Milestone Radix Upgrade, Babylon, To Launch In July

It appears that the recent price rally of Radix is connected to the impending upgrade slated for July. According to Markus Thielen, head of research and strategy at Matrixport, Radixs March fundraiser and the highly-anticipated upgrade seem to have heightened interest in the XRD token.

Price action reveals that the XRD gained more than 15% on March 23, the day the fundraiser was announced. A week after, the coin would experience a remarkable price surge in the wake of the Release Candidate network (RCNet) rollout.

That said, the mainnet, codenamed Babylon, is scheduled to launch on 31st July and introduce smart-contract functionality to the decentralized Radix network. Babylon will enable developers to build robust and excellent decentralized applications.

The Radix Public Network upgrade from Olympia to Babylon will occur on or about July 31st, 2023, paving the way for global Web3 and DeFi to finally exit the tech demo stage with a mainstream-capable user and developer experience, Radix stated in its...

Dont Look Back "IndyWatch Feed Health"

Look backBy Cathy Jameson

I gauge how on time or how late we might be in the mornings, not so much by the clock but if I see our neighbor.  If we leave before him, were doing great on time.  If he leaves before us, were running a tad late.  He drives his kids to the stop sign at the end of the street.  When we are behind him, I might get stuck behind his kids bus through part of the neighborhood.

Luck was on our side one morning as wed made it out of our driveway ahead of the neighbor.  That day, even though Id left the house about 4 minutes later than usual, I knew Id still be able to get my youngest to school on time.  I thought that until we got stuck behind a different bus that day.

It was a shorter bus, one that picks up children with special needs.

Since we left later than usual, we arent usually in that part of the neighborhood at that time.  Ive seen that bus pick up another child, a little boy, across the street in that spot.  I was taken aback that we had another young neighbor, a girl, with special needs.

Ahead of her mother as she walked, an elementary-aged girl was inching toward the bus.  Other drivers could be a bit miffed that they were slowed down by the bus and a student who didnt appear to be too excited to get on it.  I was not miffed at all.  I was curious!  Having lived here as long as I have, I was encouraged to see that another family, potentially like mine, utilize the school systems special ed services.  Ronans been out of that system for some time, but Im glad others can find success in it.

The little girl walked so very slowly toward the bus.  Mid-step, she turned her head toward her mom and stopped.  The mom, who had stayed about 10 steps behind her since I spied them, walked up to her daughter.  They hugged quickly and then parted ways.  I thought that a bit odd.  Every parent of typical students we see in the mornings stays at the bus stop until after the bus leaves.  They wave like crazy.  Some shout out sweet messages.  After the bus leaves, parents dont go home right away.  Some will stand in each others driveways chit chatting for a few minutes.

This mom didnt stick around.

She headed back toward their house.

Quickly.

The little girl kept her head low as she walked the las...

Blackrock, the Sixth Rock from the Sun "IndyWatch Feed Spiritual"

Where did they get the name Blackrock for this company and how does it relate to their values? The planets are sometimes referred to as rocks like in the "Third Rock from the Sun". What then might the "black rock" refer to?

Saturn Worship and the Black Cube

"You might not know it,but the entire world has been worshiping Saturn for thousands of years. The Cult has never stopped and its rites are still present to this day. Saturn, dubbed the "Lord of the rings", is the reason why we exchange rings at weddings or put halos on the heads of the Gogly people. This article exposes the attributes of the god saturn and the perpetuation of his cult through in pop culture."

Saturn: the Ancient Sun God

"The Babylonians were apparently the first to develop systematic observations of the planets, and they recorded the celestial motions with considerable skill. But in laying the foundations of later astronomy, they also preserved a crucial link with the past. Again and again they asserted a claim that could only appear preposterous to the modern translator. They declared that the distant planets were the *gods* of former times.

Sumerian myths, we noted earlier, say that the rites and standards of "kingship" descended from the central luminary An, founder of the Golden Age. In Babylonian myth the Sumerian An appears as Anu, first in the line of gods and kings. And according to the best authorities on Babylonian astronomy, the god Anu was mysteriously linked to *the planet Saturn*. The association was stated most bluntly by the renowned expert on Babylonian astronomy, Peter Jensen, in *Die Kosmologie der Babylonier*: Anu was Saturn."

Saturn and the Black Sun - ROBERT SEPEHR

The Black Sun

"The Black Sun is a well-known occult and esoteric symbol. Most people are probably aware of the Black Sun because theres a large mosaic of it incorporated into the floor of the Wewelsburg Castle in Germany. The Black Sun is an ancient symbol and can be seen throughout various cultures and is usually associated with Saturn. Some names for Saturn in ancient astrology were Great Lord Dark Sun and Clothed in Black and Saturn was apparently referred to as the Black Star in old Judaic beliefs. Saturn was called black in the Babylonian cuneiform texts and Greco-Roman writings. As well as calling Sa...

It was July 15, 1919 when Boston was hit with an oft-overlooked event of mass destruction molasses had flooded the citys streets, leaving a path of wreckage in its wake.

Every Social Distortion Album Ranked "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

<p>Weve written about Social Distortion a few times before. Fortunately, we were pretty drunk all of those times and dont remember most of what we said. So, against our better judgment, we have decided to rank every Social D album, which we are doing with a gut full of blue raspberry flavored MD 20/20. Enjoy!</p> <h1><strong>7. Now, theres nothing wrong with this record morally speaking. It didnt commit any war crimes or serve on the supreme court or have any sort of reprehensible failing like either of those things I just mentioned. Lesbian Completes Seasonal Changing of the Guard by Swapping Out Flannels for Hawaiian Shirts "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. Local lesbian Molly Roth recently completed the solemn task known in her community as the changing of the guard by putting her flannels in storage and taking out her Hawaiian shirts, sweaty sources report.

It is every lesbians duty to perform the ritual come spring, or really, come whenever its 80 degrees and we cant stand it anymore, said Roth while saluting for some reason. Its a long and intensive process that takes a full day; I have to make sure everything is folded like the American flag before putting it into my storage bins, and then all my Hawaiian shirts have to get steamed to insure they are properly wrinkle-free and crisp while hanging. Its a tough job, but I respect my ancestors too much to skip it.

Roths token heterosexual friend Maggie Wainwright took notice of the seasonal practice.

I always know when the last snow has fallen, because the second its nice out for real, Molly disappears for a whole Sunday and emerges in the most hideous printed button-downs money can buy from the Dollar Thrift, said Wainwright. Sometimes I think shes lost her touch when she wears a beat-up old flannel on a hot afternoon, but no matter what, the following day its always cold as hell. I dont know what weird psychic lesbian shit this is, but honestly, I respect it.

Meteorologist and local news weatherman Bryce Dayton weighed in with his professional perspective on this phenomenon.

Theres actually been a long and well-researched history of lesbians accurately predicting meteorological patterns based on when they put their heavier shirts away for the season, Dayton said while gesturing to a grainy sepia-toned photo. We have accounts from as far back as the 1600s of spinsters claiming to know when to plant seeds to avoid a frost, all because they left their petticoats inside that day. And you know, you see this with gay men, too. You know its really summer vacation time when the inseams go from short shorts to really short shorts. Its just an inherited cultural trait, it seems.

At press time, Roth was seen swapping her Doc Martens Chelsea boots for Doc Martens sandals.

Review: The Damned Damned Damned Damned "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Each week The Hard Times looks back on a classic album from punk history. We also consume enough ketamine to kill an adult zebra every week, but this is unrelated to our reviews. This week we checked out the debut record from punk pioneers The Damned, Damned Damned Damned.

The Damned truly were groundbreakers in the early UK punk scene. They were the first English punk band to put out a single, the first to tour the United States, and Damned Damned Damned was the first full-length studio album to be released.

But The Damneds list of first doesnt end there. Such a prolific band spent much of their early days racking up an impressive string of historic firsts. So we thought wed take a look back on just a few of the ones they hit during or around the recording of triple D.

  • First UK punk band to not pay back their recording advance.
  • First UK punk band to hold a band meeting that they forgot to tell the drummer about.
  • First UK punk band to fuck with those big hat guards at Buckingham Palace and actually get a reaction out of one of them.
  • First UK punk band to try tapas. They didnt like it.
  • First UK punk band to publicly denounce Benjamin Disraeli even though hed been dead for like ninety years at that point.
  • First UK punk band to be on tour and think they forgot a piece of gear at the last gas station and have to drive all the way back to get it and then not find it at the gas station and then check the van and it was in there the whole time just in a different place than it usually is.
  • First UK punk band to visit a waterpark in East Lansing, Michigan. They all bought souvenir photos from the log flume ride.
  • First UK punk band to think that The Poseidon Adventure was an intriguing concept, but the production ultimately fell flat.
  • First UK punk band to break up, then get back together like four days later but without the bass player.
  • And finally, first UK punk band to use a picture of Margaret Thatcher with eyes cut out as show flyer art.

SCORE: 1 out of 1 for everything all the time ever, apparently.

We Revisit Trace Adkins Honky Tonk Badonkadonk Because Our Flight Is Delayed in the Nashville Airport "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

Whether youre a fan of country music or not, theres no denying the musical talent and songwriting skills of countless country artists from the past century. From Johnny Cash to Dolly Parton, Kenny Chesney to Shania Twain, the genre has made a marked cultural impact.

Im no country music scholar, but I am three hours into a layover at the Nashville airport and Trace Adkins 2005 hit Honky Tonk Badonkadonk is booming through the speakers of the saloon next to my gate. So lets give it a listen while I wait for the Southwest agent to call boarding group B.

The song opens with a bass line that sounds like it was taken from the Seinfeld theme, over which Adkins speaks to his fellow country boys in a thick drawl. Turn it up some / Alright boys, this is her favorite song / So, if we play it good and loud she might get up and dance again / Ohh, she put her beer down / Here she comes. To summarize: He devised a scheme to get the ladies movin and it worked immediately. If only Southwest Airlines could figure out how to execute a plan so efficiently.

The first verse launches into a faster tempo and Adkins starts singing, Hustlers shootin eight ball / Throwin darts at the wall / Feelin damn near ten feet tall / Here she comes, Lord help us all / Ol T.W.s girlfriend done slapped him out his chair / Poor ole boy, it aint his fault / Its so hard not to stare. Who knows who T.W. is, but its safe to say it was his fault.

Chorus time! At that honky tonk badonkadonk / Keepin perfect rhythm, make ya wanna swing along / Got it goin on like Donkey Kong / And oo-wee, shut my mouth, slap your grandma / There oughta be a law, get the sheriff on the phone / Lord have mercy, howd she even get them britches on / That honky tonk badonkadonk If this song isnt the rural mans Baby Got Back, then I dont know what is. When they were in the studio recording, do you think they laughed at all or kept things serious the whole time? More importantly, do you think my flight will get delayed another hour?

In the bridge, Adkins advises his friends, Boys, you better keep your distance / You can look but you cant touch, which is solid feminist allyship by 2005 standards. Then he closes the song with this declaration: Thats why we do what we do / It aint for the money, it aint for the glory, it aint for the free whiskey / Its for the badonkadonk. Such a shame no one writes lyrics like that anymore. Maybe backwoods chivalry really is dead.

Hopefully, one day artists of all genres will start writing entire songs about butts again. But it looks like pre-boarding just started so Id better line up to get my badonkadonk on this plane.

Bass Player Really Bringing Supergroup Designation Into Question "IndyWatch Feed Satire"

MALDEN, Mass. Two members of Grassachusetts and Stink Witch are reportedly forming a three-man supergroup with roadie Brit Charrington on bass, leading some fans to question the supergroup designation altogether.

Sure, the other two guys are legends. But Ive done some pretty notable work myself. I was a touring member of GWAR for a whole summer. I know it just looked like a horny lobster on stage, but I promise that was me sweating through the foam, said Charrington. I also did a bit of session work on an unreleased Bongzilla album. Oh, and I even played the tambourine for Mastodon once. They did ask me to play from behind the stage, but if you can find any of those live recordings, you can hear me loud and clear.

Jayden Briggs, fan of both Grassachusetts and Stink Witch, remains skeptical.

Im just not buying it. When I think of supergroups, I think of heavy hitters like Chickenfoot and Sammy Hagar and the Circle. Who the fuck is this Brett Charringuard guy? asked Briggs. Why cant they get someone respectable? I dont mean to be rude, like, Im sure Bront Charizard is good or whatever. But at least get someone I know or have literally heard of in passing. Like, just off the top of my head, maybe Michael Anthony.

Music historian Easton Hilbert agrees that the term supergroup is starting to get a bit fuzzy for his liking.

Its rare to find a group like boygenius that is equally respected across all members. More often than not, you have to compromise a little. Or a lot, if youre the Hollywood Vampires and you accidentally invite Johnny Depp on stage once, said Gilbert. But this is too much. Taking two famous guys and adding a rando on bass is absolutely foul play. And while were at it, I dont think you should be able to do the Audioslave thing either. Thats just Rage with a different vocalist. If that was Van Halen, theyd just call them Van Halen.

In related news, Sebastian Bach announced hes reforming Damnocracy with Jason Bonhams nephew on drums and a former contestant from Rock of Love on guitar.

Render Delivers With 40% Gain As RNDR Dominates Sunday Charts "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Among the top gainers on Sunday, CoinMarketCap shows that Render (RNDR) has achieved a 41% growth over the past week. The crypto actually dominated the roster of the days leading coins.

Render (RNDR) has been among the top performing crypto assets in the last few weeks. Render allows owners of the increasingly powerful graphics processing units (GPUs) industry to deliver computing power during periods of low demand.

Render (RNDR) At A Glance

The Render (RNDR) Network is a blockchain-powered, decentralized, high-performance, distributed-computing platform. It was developed to help businesses in the film, animation, gaming, and architecture industries complete complicated rendering projects quickly and affordably.

To fulfill the need of large-scale rendering projects, the RNDR Network offers a scalable and decentralized solution by letting users leverage underutilized GPU capacity from other network participants to speed up their rendering processes.

The RNDR coin is the in-network currency that may be exchanged for computer power, staked for network rewards, and used to elect leaders. In sum, the RNDR Network utilizes blockchain technology and distributed computing in an effort to completely overhaul the rendering process.

Network Gains Traction And Attention

Its no surprise that Render has been getting a lot of attention lately, what with the proliferation of the metaverse and the growing need for rendering services in a wide range of enterprises. So, the recent uptick in RNDR should not come as a surprise: widespread consensus among the rendering community to get ready for the inevitable increase in demand.

Render debuted in 2017 and spent the first half of 2018 in private sale. Render takes advantage of Ethereums built-in security features when uploading and transferring nodes to operators, as the network is based on the Ethereum blockchain.

Cardano Price Analysis: $0.46 Hinges On Breaching This Level "IndyWatch Feed Crypto"

Over the past few weeks, the price of Cardano has experienced significant volatility. The altcoin initially rose from $0.37 but was later rejected at $0.45. However, over the last 24 hours, there has been a slight increase of 1.3%, while the weekly chart indicates a 6.2% price increase.

The technical analysis of ADA suggests that the bulls are attempting to take control of the price. Demand and accumulation showed signs of recovery.

Despite the slow progress in the ADA price, there is a critical resistance level that must be surpassed to trigger a rally. For the bulls to gain further momentum, buying strength must increase significantly in the upcoming trading sessions.

Additionally, major altcoins have been stagnant due to Bitcoins difficulty in reaching $30,000. If BTC reclaims this level, it could propel ADA bulls to drive up the price in the subsequent trading sessions. Furthermore, the market capitalization of ADA has recovered, indicating that buying pressure is returning to the market.

Cardano Price Analysis: One-Day Chart

Cardano

At the time of writing, ADA was trading at $0.40. The overhead resistance was $0.42. This level has proven to be a significant hurdle for Cardano in the past, and multiple attempts to break through it have been unsuccessful.

However, if ADA manages to move above this resistance level, it could trigger a rally and push the price towards $0.46.

On the other hand, if the price falls from its current level, the support level stands at $0.39. If ADA fails to remain above this support level, it could lead to a drop in price to $0.36. The amount of ADA traded in the last session turned green, indicating an influx of buyers.

These Terrifying Stories Are 100% True "IndyWatch Feed Arts"

I dont know about you, but Im always down for a scary story. Ive been down for scary stories pretty much since I started reading my own books even if that meant I had to sleep with the lights on some nights as a kid.

Scary stories that are true are even better, so lets dive into these Reddit gems.

OMFG!

Not as scary as some of the stories here, but I was pretty horrified when my dad told me the story.

There are some really big houses in the woods in my hometown. One of the owners went out drinking with his buddies and realized he forgot the key to the gate when he got home. So he decided to just climb the gate. While climbing in his drunken state he slips and his leg gets pierced by one of the spikes on the gate. He was hanging there but too afraid to call for his wife. Since he was sure she would just open the automatic gate from inside the house and since it was one of those gates that slides to the side it would just rip his leg off if she did.

He was hanging there the entire night until his wife woke up, saw him and called the fire department. My dad (who is one of the firefighters that showed up) said they had to saw of the spike to get him off.

Just imagine hanging from your own gate all night not being able to call for help.

A twist ending.

I would call it creepy more than scary, but my moms friend had a small house and lived alone. She noticed weird things: a batch of soup depleting faster than usual, missing eggs, damp towels in the hamper when she hadnt used any, extra dishes in the dishwasher, etc This went on for months, she thought she was just being forgetful.

One day she heard some thumping around in her attic and went to investi...
