Do you ever wake up all bundled up in bed on a chilly morning
and think to yourself, Ahh, I'm just like a burrito? Well,
now you can take that thought one step further with an actual
blanket that looks like a giant tortilla. This Burrito
Tortilla Blanket will make you feel like your favorite snack
while watching TV, laying in bed, or whenever you please.
Visually, the blanket perfectly resembles the texture of a
tortilla, from the yellowish-white flour to the varying brown
shades of burned spots. However, don't let the look of this
creative blanket fool youit's super soft to the touch and will keep
you cozy while adding a fun touch to your nights in. To make it
even more realistic, the blanket is printed on both sides.
The blanket comes in a wide range of sizes, from 47 to 80
inches, in case you want to share your place in a burrito with
someone else. If wrapping yourself in a tortilla is not your thing,
there are also cookie, waffle, and pizza
blankets available. Although those options are great for paying
tribute to amazing dishes, nothing beats the humor behind literally
being a human burrito.
It's softer than I thought it would be and oddly enough, the
circular shape makes it super versatile for wrapping over shoulders
or using as a lap blanketextra length on rounded edges means your
toes don't stick out, writes one reviewer. Another satisfied
customer writes, It is a great investment for anyone who wants to

A multisig wallet is a special type of wallet
for securely storing your Bitcoin. 3-5 signatures are typically
required to access the stored Bitcoin.
What is a MultiSig wallet?
A multisig wallet is a wallet that provides users with extra
security because it requires multiple unique signatures (hence
multi-signature) to authorize and execute a transaction. A
traditional or single-sig Bitcoin wallet contains a Bitcoin
address, each with one associated private key that grants the
keyholder complete control over the funds.
With bitcoin multisignature addresses, you can have a Bitcoin
address with three or more associated private keys, such that you
need any two of them to spend the funds. A wallets private key
grants access to a users funds. It proves ownership of your bitcoin
and is necessary to execute transactions in combination with a
public key. If a private key is lost, all funds are lost, and there
is no way to recover them. Spreading access to a wallet across
multiple keys is a safer measure.
Multisig is not native to Bitcoin. The concept has been used in
the banking sector for years and previous to that it had been used
for thousands of years to protect the security of crypts holding
the precious relics of saints. The superior of a monastery would
give monks only partial keys for gaining access to the precious
relics. Thus, no single monk could gain access to and possibly
steal the relics.
Single-key vs Multisig
Most Bitcoin wallets use a single signature setup. This type of
setup only requires one signature to sign a transaction. Single-key
addresses are easier to manage as access to funds is faster. Still,
they also represent a single point of failure increasing risks for
your security since hackers and malicious actors could more easily
access them.
Single-key wallets are good options for small and faster
transactions like face-to-face payments but are not recommended for
individuals and businesses who need to store considerable amounts
of bitcoin. Like with cash, if you lose access to your single-key
wallet, your funds are gone and theres nothing you can do to
recover them.
A multisig wallet, on the other hand, is configured in a way
that requires a combination of keys from different sources to be
operational for example, 2-of-3, meaning that transactions can only
be executed if at least 2 keys out of 3 are used.
Different variations exist, with a combination of signatures
required to access funds and execute transactions. Some solutions
demand that all the private keys are used to create the signature
and authorize a transaction for maximum security.

globalists have accelerated the implementation of the UNs Agenda
21, later updated to Agenda 2030. Patrick M. Wood reviews the
history and who is responsible for it in his new book,
The Evil Twins of Technocracy and
Transhumanism. Its his third book about the
radical transformation of the worlds economic structure and
bioweapons used to alter the biology and functioning of humans
within the technocracy ideology. It is vital that we
understand how we are being attacked, not so covertly anymore, in
order to resist and overcome the very real threats to our

Chapters 1 to 4. This is all important, but heavy information to
process and understand. Therefore, I am publishing it in two parts
for easier absorption and digestion. Part 1, lays the
historical groundwork for Technocracy. Part 2 describes what
is happening now down to pursue the Agenda 21 goals.
Technocracy is designed as an economic and
political replacement for free market capitalism and
democracy. It proposes the elimination of all private
property by transferring it into a common trust held and controlled
by unelected, elite technocrats bankers,
scientists, engineers and administrative minions. The
statement You will own nothing but be happy is an accurate
description of technocracys intent. Synonyms and codes for
technocracy are New World Order, The Great Reset, sustainable
development, stakeholder capitalism, green economy and smart
growth. Agenda 21 is the technocracy plan for the 21st
century. Well known technocrats include Dr Anthony Fauci of NIH,
Elon Musk of Tesla Motors, Space X and Starlink, Peter Thiel of
PayPal, Sergey Brin and Larry Page of Google, Ray Kurzweil, a
transhumanist and computer scientist, and Klaus Schwab of WEF.
Technocracy incorporates transhumanism,

genetic engineering, AI and the convergence of four science

When bitcoin becomes the global reserve
currency, central banks wont go extinct, but they will have to
evolve.
This is an opinion editorial by Jonathan Garner, a Bitcoin,
finance and economics blogger at The Capital.
If bitcoin were to really become a global reserve currency, that
would mean that the U.S. dollars days would be done. What would our
daily lives look like under a bitcoin standard? And what would that
mean for bitcoin?
It would seemingly mean that things would be priced in bitcoin
at the store. In other words, bitcoin would function as a unit of
account. So, instead of things being priced in U.S. dollars all
over the world, things would be priced in bitcoin. I admit that its
still early and that this is probably a long time away but still,
it is possible even though bitcoin is still pretty volatile, at
least compared to the current global reserve currency of the U.S.
dollar.
Contrary to what some people seem to think, my contention is
that bitcoin already is a currency. Bitcoin is a medium of
exchange, which is why bitcoin is, in fact, called a cryptocurrency
instead of a crypto-store-of-value or crypto-gold (although,
bitcoin certainly is those things as well). This isn't just science
fiction either. Bitcoin is already being
used as a currency in certain places, like El Salvador. When
bitcoin is the global reserve currency, everyone will be using
bitcoin as a currency this way. In short, Bitcoin is money. Its a
medium of exchange, store of value and unit of account.
The Legacy System On A Bitcoin Standard
The bitcoin standard would mean that central banks would and
should hold bitcoin on their balance sheets. Perhaps this would
mean that central banks would not be needed anymore, but like any
government agency or quasi-government agency, that doesnt
necessarily mean they will go away. Central banks will hold bitcoin
because it will give their countries an advantage over other
countries where the central banks dont. The more free that a
country is, the stronger it is against other countries. Bitcoin is
freedom. Bitcoin is freedom from financial oppression.
There are all kinds of adoptions nowadays you can agree to never
contact their new family, you can have an open adoption, or you can
work out your own agreements and mix the two based on time, comfort
level, and age.
That said, I would think that changing those agreements down the
line could get tricky a fact
this woman is finding out several years into the future.
She got pregnant as the result of a one night stand and was set
to have an abortion. He was against it, so they came to an
agreement that she would carry the pregnancy and then give the
child to its father.
She would not have any parental rights or responsibilities.
Long story short: in my (40f) twenties I had a one night stand
with this guy Nathan (now 41m) and got pregnant.
I first thought of having an abortion, but Nathan had come from
a conservative religious background (not Christian) and wanted the
baby so we made a deal: I would give birth to the child and sign
away my parental rights (my name is not even in her birth
certificate, its a possibility in my country) and he would pay all
the medical expenses plus some extra for my troubles.
Thats what we did and didnt keep contact after his daughter was
born.
Things have gone fine, but recently she saw a picture of the
girl she gave birth to and reached out to her ex, wondering if she
might be able to get to know her child, answer any questions she
has, etc.
A few weeks ago, a friend of mine who has the same religion as
Nathan sent me a post from her temples youth group (they were
asking for donations for the homeless) and one of the girls from
the picture looked a lot like me. I searched for her profile and
found out that she had Nathans surname and had the right age to be
the baby I gave away.

Nearly a century after Claude Monet painted them, the
Nymphas, or Water Lilies, still impress as a
vision of a seemingly minor subject realized at a grand scale. The
paintings installed in a dedicated room at the Muse de lOrangerie in Paris
make an especially strong impact on their viewers an impact surely
not lost on Ai Weiwei, who has lately re-created another set of
Water Lilies (a triptych whose original
resides at the Museum of Modern Art) entirely out of Lego
bricks. Titled Water Lilies #1, this 50-foot-long plastic
homage will go on display at Londons Design Museum as part of
Ai
Weiwei: Making Sense, which opens on April 7th and runs
until July 30th.
Ai used 650,000 Lego bricks in 22 colors in his version of the
famous Impressionist triptych,
writes ARTnews Karen K. Ho. Apart from simply replicating,
brick by pixel-like brick, the brushstrokes with which Monet
replicated the lily pond at his Giverny home, Weiwei also included
a dark area on the right-hand side. The Design Museum said it
represents the underground dugout in Xinjiang province where Ai and
his father, Ai Qing, lived in forced exile in the 1960s. On one
level, this is an unexpected addition; on another, its just the
touch one might expect from the
most famous dissident Chinese artist alive.
Yool Kim seizes the disarray of our inner
emotional landscapes by trapping energetically impassioned
characters in her color-blocked works. Contorted bodies, floating
heads, and abstractly shaped cut-outs reveal a range of moods and
feelings all compacted into the rectangular canvas. Centered on
linework and simple shapes the Seoul-based artist scratches into
the composition, the mixed-media works feature stylized figures who
emphasize play, sadness, and malaise.
Where pattern signals an underlying sense of order, the
characters facial expressions veer in the opposite direction. I
draw myself. I want to express everything I feel in life, such as
my thoughts that are not organized, my wishes, my relationships
with people, the artist shares. I draw a series of thoughts that
are mixed in my head that have not matured, (that have) not grown
unlike my body, as if dividing categories.
Kim will have pieces on view in a solo show opening on March 24
at All About Art in Singapore and a

How much of our perception of the world is shaped by the way we
measure it? Is there ever an adequate measurement for affection?
These are among the questions one grapples with in Yee I-Lanns
exhibition
In the early 1950s, archaeologists unearthed several clay
tablets from the 14th century BCE. Found, WFMU tells
us, in the ancient Syrian city of Ugarit, these
tablets contained cuneiform signs in the hurrian language,
which turned out to be the oldest known piece of music ever
discovered, a 3,400 year-old cult hymn.
Anne Draffkorn Kilmer, professor of Assyriology at the
University of California, produced the interpretation below in
1972. (She describes how she arrived at the musical notationin some
technical detailin
this interview.) Since her initial publications in
the 60s on the ancient Sumerian tablets and the musical
theory found within, other scholars of the ancient world have
published
their own versions.
The piece, writes Richard Fink in a 1988 Archeologia
Musicalis article, confirms a
theory that the 7-note diatonic scale as well as harmony
existed 3,400 years ago. This, Fink tells us, flies in the face of
most musicologists views that ancient harmony was virtually
non-existent (or even impossible) and the scale only about as old
as the Ancient Greeks.
What is happening now has never happened before in human history.
We are witnessing the first-ever world revolution. The riots in
France, the US military disobedience of fake President Joe Biden,
the unification of the Muslim people, the collapse of Credit Suisse
and many more events around the world are all interconnected signs
of this. It is all part of the overthrow of a hidden ruling class
that has presided over the planet for thousands if not tens of
thousands of years. The final result will be both mind-boggling and
liberating for humanity and earth life in general. Before we go
look at all the events unfolding though, let us try to grasp the
big picture. My former professor Saadullah Ghausy -who was
Afghanistans Ambassador to Japan before the Russians invaded his
country- said the best way to understand international relations is
to think of countries as individual people. So, with that in mind,
here is the big picture: An African, a Chinese, a European, an
Indian and a Khazarian find themselves stranded on a deserted
island. The Khazarian says to the African You go and collect food,
firewood and other resources. To the Chinese he says You make tools
and build shelter and furniture for us. To the Indian he says You
cook and clean and take care of the various chores. To the European
he says You beat up the African, the Chinese and the Indian if they
disobey. To all of them he says, Once you have finished your tasks
go collect sea shells and shiny rocks for me. Then he say...

It is now eight years since I sent out the first of our Birth
Information Update newsletters.
As I love birthdays, I always like to pause and reflect on how
far weve come. And invite you to sign up for my free monthly
newsletter if you havent done so already.
Our Birth Information Update came about when I realised that we
needed to (re)create independent, midwife-led sources of
birth-related research and information. These needed to be
midwife-led, thoughtful, positively focused and free of advertising
for pharmaceutical drugs, baby milk, technologies, baby products
and so on.
I was already looking at lots of research and the latest
birth-related information as a part of my day job. I write books and, when I began, I was also doing a lot
of speaking and
consultancy for midwives, doctors, birth folk and others. So I
knew that finding the content wouldnt be a problem.
I decided that I cared enough about this to donate some of my
time to the project. I then looked into the running costs, which
were a bit more of an issue. Not insurmountable, but we needed a
few hundred pounds to set it all up.
A friend said, why dont you crowdfund?
What a great idea!
I sewed a load of little fabric hearts (some of which feature in
the picture below) which we exchanged for donations towards the
project at conferences and workshops.
A Saudi cleric and religious scholar who went missing after
criticizing the kingdoms rulers for implementing social reforms
have reportedly fled the country, reports from the Middle East
Monitor and Middle East Eye say.
A Saudi Arabian cleric says he has left the
country for a safe location after concerns were raised regarding
his whereabouts, according to a Twitter page attributed to him.
Emad al-Moubayed had tweeted a video criticising recent reforms in
the Kingdom pic.twitter.com/Gc6SOikf08
Emad Al-Moubayed, a prominent religious scholar in Saudi Arabia
and the former head of the King Abdulaziz Mosque in Dammam released
a video on the first of March through his Twitter account,
condemning the recent social changes in the country, including a
lifting of the ban on music concerts.
The Twitter video he uploaded was addressed to King Salman,
Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, and Turki Al-Sheikh, the chief of
the kingdoms Authority for Entertainment. Al-Moubayed advised
"those in power," referring to the kingdoms rulers, to
"fear God, saying that the social changes were "erasing the
Islamic faith and replacing the identity of Islam with other
identities.
But a day after he posted the video, another video was released
showing Al-Moubayed reading a piece of paper in front of him,
seemingly rescinding the past criticisms he made. Some speculated
he was forced to read the paper while in custody. The video was
posted with a Tweet saying it was a "clarification" of his
previous comments.
Are you ready for another story that involves family drama from
the Am I the A**hole? page on Reddit?
Well, youre in the right place!
So what do you say we dive right in and see whats going on between this man and his
father?
Start now!
AITA for telling my father what he can call his baby?
My (34M) father (56M) just had a baby with his girlfriend.
I get along really well with his girlfriend. Shes cool and
laid-back and babysits my daughter (9) for me. So this has nothing
to do with me not liking his girlfriend or my new baby sister. Of
course I love my new sister. Heres the problem.
My dad insists on calling my new baby (emphasis on baby) sister
my daughters aunt. And she doesnt like it. Shes at that age where
shes starting to want to feel grown-up, and she h**es when my dad
says stuff like say hi to aunty (sisters name). Ive asked my dad
repeatedly not to do this in front of my daughter. I also asked his
girlfriend and she didnt have a problem with it.
My dad insists that his daughter is my daughters aunt
(technically true) so thats how he needs to refer to her to my
daughter and how my daughter should refer to her even. Weve been
fighting about it, and he eventually snapped at me and told me I
cant tell him what to call his own baby.
I mean, yes, technically, but cmon. Am I the a**hole?
Heres what AskReddit users said about this.
This person said hes NTA and that this situation is weird.

Tasnim News Agency, a media outlet connected to the Islamic
Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), released photos of the Russian
female officer on March 16th. In the pictures, the woman, who was
not identified, was shown attending a press conference related to
ongoing military exercises between the Iranian, Chinese, and
Russian navies in the Gulf of Oman.
Recently, Iran, Russia, and China strengthened their economic
and military ties amidst growing tensions over the ongoing Mahsa
Amini protests, the continuing war on Ukraine, and long-standing
disputes over the self-ruled island of Taiwan, respectively.
However, the Russian female military officer was seen wearing a
dark-green military uniform with short sleeves. Although the woman
wore long pants and a military hat, she was seen not wearing a
hijab or any Islamic head covering.
The controversy comes after Iran recently implemented a stricter
new law requiring female pharmacists to wear a black hijab while
working. It also came two days after Bijan Nobaveh, a member of the
Iranian parliaments Cultural Commission, passed a seven-point
proposal on better enforcing the mandatory hijab rules in the
country.
Following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini under police
custody in September last year, the Islamic Republic never
backtracked on its laws requiring Iranian women to wear a headscarf
or hijab and loose-fitting trousers under their coats while in
public....
Since the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini under the custody of
the Iranian morality police for allegedly not wearing her hijab
correctly, massive waves of demonstrations, primarily led by
Iranian women, have challenged not just the countrys mandatory
hijab law but also the regime that strictly enforces it.
I call on international pharmacists to
support their Iranian colleagues. Many women lost their job for the
crime of resisting compulsory hijab laws. Forcing women to wear
hijab is an insult to all women and men across the globe. Human
rights is a global matter. Show your
But while the protests that have started since September 2022
brought the issue to the international stage, the Islamic Republic
only intensified its crackdowns further against any dissident, man
or woman. The Iranian government detained thousands of protesters,
tortured several dissidents, and even sentenced them to death.
In its latest attempt to suppress dissent, the Iranian Food and
Drug Administration released a new order that required female
pharmacy workers to wear a black hijab while at work.
A few weeks ago, officials from the agency sent letters to trade
unions urging them to strictly implement the new mandatory law in
stores and businesses across Irans capital, Tehran.
The new directive also requires pharmacy managers to monitor how
their female employees wear the hijab. Online news site Iran
International also reported that anyone wishing to open a new
pharmacy should submit a written commitment to authorities
promising to follow this new rule.
However, Iranian male pharmacy workers showed their support and
solidarity for their female co-workers and mocked the law by
wearing black hijabs themselves while at work.

which forces female pharmacists to only wear black veil (any other
type of hijab or color is prohibited) in workplace, as a response

AITA for refusing to change a custody agreement because Im not
being offered anything in return?
My ex and I share 50/50 of our 9yo son. Basically we have him
every other week. She also has a 5yo from her second marriage.
Theyre divorced and the custody arrangement is like ours except she
the 5yo on the week that I have our 9yo.
Her second ex husband refused to work around our custody
agreement so my ex asked me to change ours. This is a huge deal and
the reality is that I cannot just sign off it. If I just say okay
then shell start asking for more accomodations at my expense.
I told her to think about what shes going to offer me to go
along with this plan. She got mad that I just wouldnt just do it.
Honestly if she would had offered me something like an extra
holiday then Id go along with it.
She even said that she wasnt going to pay my legal fees because
a judge has to sign off any custody changes in our state.
Is the coming solar flash event orchestrated, to further

Spring is officially here and the equinox energies have shaken us
all up from our winter sleeps. Banks are failing, Trump might get
arrested, war talk between Russia and the UK. Things are certainly
moving into a crescendo. Personally, for me, these past few days
have shifted things into a higher gear as well. This has mostly to
do with the information I've been taking in about the coming solar

When people think of communication with the dead, there is one
tool that likely comes to mind for many, and that is the Ouija
board. However, these eerie board games are far more than just a
game, and there are many real dangers associated with them.
Most people would estimate that the Ouija board originated
sometime in the 1800s, but the truth is that they were around for
much longer than that. The boards, which were originally wood with
the words Yes and No inscribed on them, as well as every letter of
the alphabet and Goodbye. These inscriptions were supposed to be
useful for spirits to communicate with us, however, there has been
a lot of controversy over whether the board is real or just for
fun.
Ouija boards are very similar to automatic writing, which is
when a medium allows a spirit to take over their body, allowing
them to write out messages from the dead. Instead of a spirit
coming through the physical body, it moves through the
planchette.
Take one simple look across the internet, and a grim picture
begins to manifest. Most people who claim to have used an Ouija
board do not come out unscathed. There is an entire group of people
on the internet who played with one innocently and ended up with a
haunting or far worse.
The thing is, at the end of the day, there is no way to
determine who you are connecting with. One spirit can pose as
another, leading to a very dark roulette being played in hopes it
may be someone you know and love.
While you could spend an entire afternoon looking into the
dangers of the Ouija board, there is little scientific evidence
that Ouija boards can actually contact the dead. Most scientists
believe that the movement of the planchette is caused by a part of
our brain that we arent always entirely aware of. On that side,
there is a lot in our world that science cannot explain. Regardless
of your beliefs, most people feel a sense of fear around the board,
and perhaps with good reason. Even the original creator of the
board was found dead in the same factory the board told him to
build.
The human body and mind are very intelligent machines that are
built to succeed. One of the mechanisms that ensure our success in
life is our ability to discern who we can and cannot trust, and
this process begins very early in life for us.
As infants, our brain tries to decipher who we can rely on to
take care of us. According to MIT neuroscientists, there is a very
specific signal in our brain that helps us to decipher who we can
trust. Based on their research, babies can determine whether or not
two people are obligated to each other, and we can discern this
based on whether or not they swap saliva.
Put simply, babies look around them to figure out and assess
things. One of the things they look out for is two people who care
for one another and the signal they are seeking to verify that is
if they kiss, share food or interact in other ways that involve the
sharing of saliva.
Babies dont know in advance which relationships are the close
and morally obligating ones, so they have to have some way of
learning this by looking at what happens around them, explains
Rebecca Saxe, a professor at MIT and one of the senior authors of
the new study.
It has been long known that humans can detect the difference
between thick and thin relationships. Thick relationships are more
like family, which have strong levels of attachment. This
understanding pushed researchers to try to distinguish between
those relationships and one of the ways they did this was to try to
understand the cues which helped us recognize them, even early
on.
So, the researchers observed toddlers as they observed human
actors and puppets. They would go back and forth, allowing the
toddlers to observe loving interactions and then distressed cries
for help. When distressed cries for help took place, the toddlers
would look at the person they expected to step in and help. and in
most cases, they looked for the person who shared food with the
puppet.
There is a common misconception that asserts that men only care
about sex or intimacy when the relationship needs of a man go far
beyond that. Men are quite complex and in many ways just as
fragile, if not more fragile in some ways, than women.
By understanding what it is that a man needs most in a
relationship, you can find clarity in understanding him better.
Below, I will go over the 6 main things that every man needs in a
relationship. Many of these are likely going to be unexpected,
especially if you have always fallen into the trap of believing
that all men care about is sex.
1. Respect.
In relationships, men need to feel respected. Respect is very
much akin to love, and in love, if a man doesnt feel respected, he
will find it difficult to trust you. Without respect, men get
anxious and back off.
2. For you to be proud of them.
We often tell our partners when they mess up, but when it comes
to being proud of their accomplishments, we tend to be quieter.
However, men need words of affirmation. They need to hear when they
are doing something right, otherwise, they may get so caught up in
what they are doing wrong, that they cannot focus.
3. Sexual connection.
Yes, men do need sex, but it goes beyond just skin touching
skin. To a man, intimacy in the bedroom is very much a necessity,
because it helps them to bond with you.
4. Emotional connection.
However, men also need an emotional connection to you. While men
are often thought of as less emotional creatures, they are highly
emotional. Our society has a way of pushing men to bury their
emotions, and when a woman provides a healthy environment for her
man to express his emotions, he can flourish.
5. Space.
Men need space from their love to grow. They need to feel as
though they have their own lives and their things going for them.
Without space, they will feel suffocated.
6. Communication.
Men are not mindreaders. While it may seem obvious to you that
you are upset and why, its better to not expect him to just know.
He needs clear communication on what he does right and what he does
wrong
Life is full of regret, no matter how much we may wish that it
was not. No matter how hard we may try to avoid regret, many of us
end up with regrets, especially when it comes to our kids.
Every person I know who has kids who are fully grown has a
variety of regrets about what they should have done more of and
what they should have done less. It is not easy being a parent,
however, the one thing that we do have is each other. By knowing
and understanding the regrets of other parents, maybe we can avoid
at least a few regrets later on.
I stumbled upon an Ask Reddit post, in which one person posed
the question: Whats your biggest regret as a father? Here are ten
of those fathers.
1. Relinth says,
That I didnt fight for custody sooner.
2. Rockeye says,
Not taking more pictures of us together, or recording audio of
her singing nonsense when tiny.
3. snewton says,
Saying maybe later too often.
4. oscarjoserodrigo says,
Letting my son see me at my worst. When his mother died I did
many things that Im very ashamed of, Im even more ashamed that he
had to witness them.
5. redshred79 says,
Not having more than one child.
6. [deleted] says,
Being angry.
7. soft_becoming says,
That I didnt heal myself more before I became a father. And
honestly I shouldnt have become one, I did it out of trying to
satisfy my partner and keep her from leaving me. Which she did
anyway when our daughter was 3. So now Im fulfilling my own
nightmare of repeating my parents mistakes of getting divorced,
only 10 years before they did (relative to their childs age).
Now all of my effort is going towards healing myself so I
minimize the shit I pass down to my daughter.
8. Legaleye1 says,
Not spending enough time with my daughters from age 5-14. I
spent a lot, but you can never get back the time that you chose to
go off to do something else nowhere near as important.
9. SnglMltSctch says,
I have many regrets. One of my biggest regrets is believing
college was good for my son. He was ok with it at first but then
hated it but stuck with it because he knew thats what we wanted for
him. He never finished & is now an electrician, but happier. Im
hopeful hell return to finish hes so close to getting a degree.
10. bigbluesy says,
Not having more to bring my kids into. I dont mean financially,
I mean my un-dealt with trauma made me such a bland, passionless
person, that now that Ive dealt with it and finally feel like Im
coming alive, I dont feel like I have much to offer my kids in
terms of how to live a fulfilling life. I can offer compassion and
empathy, so thats good, I just wasnt ready to be a husband or a
father when they happened.
What if you could see the entire solar system all at once? Well,
if that is something that excites you, then I have great news
because you are going to get to see this spectacular show for
several days coming up!
Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, and Mars will align in an arc
formation beginning March 25 through 30. If you count the moon,
that is six planetary bodies to observe. Around the 28th, Jupiter
will begin to slowly fade.
If you would like to see this beautiful event, you only need to
find a dark area, devoid of any light. If you live in the big city,
it is time to find something a bit more quaint, as light pollution
will make it hard to see. Additionally, it helps if you get away
from anything in the way, like tall buildings, trees, and even
mountains.
Around the time that the sun begins to dip below the horizon,
the show begins. However, you want to act fast, because it will be
short-lived. According to ABC 33/40, the formation will not last
over an hour. Since Venus is super bright compared to the others,
you will be able to see it quite easily. Next, Mars will be a bit
less bright, but it can still be observed with the naked eye.
Uranus will be the hardest top spot, so most of those viewing
this may need some binoculars or a telescope to avoid missing it.
If you find that one night is cloudy, and you are having a hard
time seeing it, do not dismay. This show will go on, for nearly a
week.
Because this is a rare event, you do not want to miss it. It
happened in 2016, 2020, and then again last year, but that isnt
typical. It could be years before we get to observe this formation
again!

Celebrities have a certain reputation for being prone to things
like drinking, drugs, depression, suicide, and other things that
can often lead to an untimely death.
These 16 are still around, though, despite folks expecting them
to be jailed or underground by now.
16. Its sad, really.
Going with a youtube celebrity: but Nikocado Avocado, that dude
is literally going to eat himself to d**th.
15. Literally a team.
Ozzy Osbourne. Im truly surprised he lived this long.
There is literally a team of Cambridge doctors who are
investigating how Ozzy is still alive. Theyve made arrangements
with him to dissect and study his body after death.
14. What a mess.
Bam Margera. Sadly, only a matter of time.
I have been his fan for most of my life, but last night, I
unfollowed and blocked him on all social media. Loved the guy, but
I just cant stand to watch him continue to destroy himself and lay
blame everywhere else. I just want to keep that image of him young,
relatively healthy and making me laugh in my head.
13. It boggles the mind.
Every member of Motley Crue is still alive. How is that
possible?
12. Very impressive.
The fact that Robert Downey Jr is not dead and has turned his
life around to become super successful in his field is very, very
impressive.
11. Still dancing.
I just looked up Dick van Dyke and not only is he 97 years old,
he was on The Masked Singer just yesterday! Thats impressive.
They apparently had several dances lined up for his role in the
new Marry Poppins and he chose...

April 2023 brings the start of Eclipse Season with a New Moon
Total Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 19th.
Eclipses are always a highly transformative time, so you can
expect April to bring some changes and shifts in your life. A new
opportunity may present itself, or someone new may come into your
life. Due to the energies surrounding this months Eclipse, its very
likely that a new chapter will begin for us in some way.
April 2023 also brings the first retrograde planet since
January, with Mercury stationing retrograde on the 21st.
Mercury can bring a slow down to the cosmic energies, guiding us
to reflect. Since this is the first retrograde we have had in a few
months, we may notice the shift more clearly. Things from the past
may come back up to the surface, or we may find ourselves feeling
the need to pause, especially when it comes to making
decisions.
As we reach the months end, we are still deep in the
transformative Eclipse energies as we head towards the Scorpio
Lunar Eclipse on May 5th.
Here are the key dates to note throughout the month-
April 2023 Astrology Forecast
April 3- Mercury enters
Taurus
Mercury enters Taurus where it will retrograde later in the
month. Mercury moving from Aries into Taurus will help to slow
things down a little. Our minds may become quieter and we may find
it easier to move into a place of stillness. Clarity is more likely
to dawn from stillness rather than action.
April 5- Sun Conjunct Chiron
A beautiful day of healing and appreciation for the wounds that
have made us who we are today. Chiron is an asteroid known as the
wounded healer. It is activated by the Sun on this day, guiding us
to shine a light on how our wounds, although painful, have guided
us to this point in our lives. Chiron teaches us that while some
wounds may never leave us, they can still be the birthplace of
something beautiful. You can read more on this
here.
April 6- Libra Full Moon
There is strong healing energy connected to this Full Moon
thanks to yesterdays meeting of the Sun and Chiron. It is likely
that this Full Moon will bring healing breakthroughs, allowing us
to find the strength, compassion, and awareness that our wounds can
bring us. The Full Moon in Libra may also shine a spotlight on our
partnerships and how we show up in our relationships. We may find
ourselves needing to let go or release attitudes, behaviors, or
patterns that are no longer serving us in our relationships. It is
hard to be aware of our unhelpful or even harmful behaviors, but
this Full Moon can illuminate things for us, allowing us to step
deeper into the work. We just have to be open and willing.

Ted Cruz has joined a myriad of politicians in
demonstrating their contempt for CBDCs in America but what about
pro-Bitcoin legislation?
Texas Governor Ted Cruz has joined a growing group of
politicians who have come out in support of anti-CBDC bills,
reintroducing legislation to the Senate that would prohibit a
direct to consumer Federal Reserve-issued CBDC.
Recent weeks have seen several U.S. state politicians at the center
of these actions. The trend was seemingly kicked off by the
introduction of Congressman Tom Emmers CBDC Anti-Surveillance
State Act, a bill that would prohibit the Federal Reserve from
issuing a CBDC directly to anyone.
This was followed by South Dakota Governor Kristi Noems decision to
veto House Bill 1193, which would have amended the provisions of
the Uniform Commercial Code in the state. The bill adopts a
definition of money to specifically exclude cryptocurrencies. But
these revisions do include Central Bank Digital Currencies as
money. These developments concern me for several reasons, Governor
Noem
explained.
Subsequent to this, Florida Governor Ron Desantis
held a press conference in which he stood at a podium labeled
Big Brothers Digital Dollar, proclaiming that Florida shall be a
CBDC-free state.
But, in a
recent article written for the Bitcoin Policy Institute titled
In Attempt to Stop CBDCs, States Are Rejecting Ostensibly
Pro-Bitcoin Legislation, Yal Ossowski described how the House Bill
1193 blocked by Gov. Noem would actually have been a benefit for
bitcoin, not a net negative. In his opinion, the response to House
Bill 1193 did not consider the full respects of the changes to the
Uniform Commercial Code, and he cautions politicians that they
should be careful to not block bills that could potentially benefit
bitcoin.
The bill in question based on an update to the Uniform
Commercial Code not only expands definitions and protections for
Bitcoin, but actually creates a legal mechanism for recognizing
self-custody and for the protocols inclusion in traditi...
One December morning, among the sparse riders waiting for the G
train in Brooklyn, New York, I saw a tall Black man with a colorful
jacket and a cowboy hat. I took some photos as I introduced myself
to Richard Faison. I am also
an artist and I actually made this hat, he told me.
A few weeks later, a friend who was visiting from Florence
casually mentioned she wanted to buy a hat while here, and I
arranged to see Faison in his lab, which turned out to also be his
apartment. The one-bedroom apartment was filled with dozens of hats
at various stages of existence and along with my friend Michles
green hat, two more were being blocked and were drying by the
window. On the wall was hanging a shtreimel, the first one
that Faison made: these hats, traditionally worn by Orthodox Jewish
men, were in fact his specialty.
Sitting down with Faison on his sofa on that day, and once again
more recently, I asked him some questions. Our conversations have
been edited and condensed for clarity.
CHICAGO I first saw Richard Hulls work in 1981 when he had his
second New York show at the Phyllis Kind Gallery. We lost touch
around the time Phyllis closed her gallery in 2009, and did not see
each other again until 2016, when I wrote about visiting his studio
in Chicago, where he has lived since the late 1970s. On my recent
trip to Chicago, I did not think I would be able to see, much less
write about, his current exhibition, Richard Hull: Mirror and
Bone, at Western Exhibitions, running through April 22. I
had not considered writing about Hulls work because we were about
to collaborate on monotypes at Manneken Press in Bloomington,
Illinois something we had never done before.
Three surprises in the exhibition indicate that Hull is
committed to pushing into new territory. In each of the gallerys
three discrete areas, Hull presented something different from what
you might expect if you have followed his work. The artist is known
for his paintings of abstract heads, or what he calls stolen
portraits, which seem to be simultaneously erupting and blossoming.
Here, he included three horizontal paintings with his portraits and
figures in the first gallery space: Cabins, Departure...

Kenyan photographer Migwa Nthiga is shedding light
on Indigenous culture in his evocative series of
portraits, Walks Of Life. For the series, Nthiga
followed Indigenous Nilotic people as they went about their daily
activities. Living close to Lake Turkana in Northern Kenya, these
people have faced increasing hardship due to recurring droughts in
the area. By taking their portraits, Nthiga hopes to shed light on
this beautiful culture and the struggles provoked by the climate
crisis.
From a creative standpoint, Nthiga's dreamy imagery combines the
skill of candid photography with a visual sensibility that results
in photos that appear to be ripped from a fashion magazine. With
dramatic lighting and interesting color choices, the portfolio has
a cinematic quality that elevates the photography.
Looking at the photos, it should come as no surprise that Nthiga
has experience in advertising. His images not only tell a story,
but they also sell the viewer on the narrative. He is clearly able
to transform his previous professional experience in selling brands
into a vehicle for telling human stories.
We had a chance to speak with Nthiga about how he got his start
in photography and why it was important for him, as a native
Kenyan, to tell the story of this Indigenous culture. Read on for

fit in the palm of someone's hand, they will eventually grow to
about a foot in length and weigh up to 35 pounds. Radiated
tortoises are critically endangered from over-collection for the
illegal pet trade and are known to produce few offspring, the zoo
adds. In addition to doing its part in raising these hatchlings,
the Houston Zoo also donates a portion of its membership and

The McKnight
Fellowships for Visual Artists is a highly competitive
fellowship program that identifies talented Minnesota visual
artists whose work is of exceptional artistic merit and who are at
a career stage that is beyond emerging. Each year, the program
supports established artists by providing unrestricted awards of
$25,000 that can help an artist set aside time for study,
reflection, experimentation, and exploration; take advantage of an
opportunity; or work on a new project.
In addition to the cash award, the fellows invite five
nationally recognized critics into their studios for in-depth
conversations about their work. Two of the critics return to
participate in the public panel discussion that pairs one of them
with two or three McKnight Visual Artist Fellows.

Infinite Wonders (2023), acrylic on panel, 16 x 12 inches. All
images Alexander Harrison, courtesy of Kasmin, New York, shared
with permission
Through small paintings that often stretch less than a foot,
artist Alexander Harrison coaxes
scenes of both delicate natural beauty and profound unease.
Once-fresh flowers wilt and fall, night descends around a decaying
tree with a figure trapped inside, and malicious roots entangle a
fleeting foot, puncturing the skin with thorns and cuts. Rendered
in acrylic on panel with trompe leoiel elements that add illusory
depth to the tiny portals, the works are brimming with intrigue and
mystery about what lies beyond the frame.
The pieces shown here were on view at Kasmin earlier this month in Harrisons solo
show Big World, a title that alludes to the
vast unreality from which he imagines his scenes emerging.
Supernatural and uncanny, the works contain recognizable symbols
that cite art historical and religious references, while the
watermelon of Down in the Mouth, for example, draws on the long
legacy of racist imagery. I see my paintings as another
dimension, or a universe that feels like a fever dream as shown
through my eyes, Harrison told Kasmin Review. I always like to
have cosmic symbols in my work, like shooting stars and moons,
because that creates distance and curiosity, but I also like to
create intim...
Finland is known for its sweeping winter landscapes and
spectacular views of the Aurora Borealis. Another distinction of
this Nordic nation is that it is considered the happiest country in
the world, according to the World Happiness Report. In fact, it has held the title
for six years straight. Hoping to spread the joy, their national
tourism organization, Visit Finland, is launching a
campaign to invite people from around the world to learn to enjoy
life the Finnish wayand take in the serene scenes that nurture
those feelings.
Since Finland is the worlds happiest country, weve set up an
in-person masterclass in Finland this June. If selected, you get a
four-day trip to Finland where you can learn the methods to finding
your inner Finn, they write. Titled Masterclass of Happiness,
Visit Finland's program will take place in June 2023 at the Kuru
Resort, a destination made of private villas, each with their own
spa and sauna for visitors to take in the greenery and the long
days of the Lakeland region, famous for its forests and bodies of
water.
While the quality of life surely helps (after all, the World
Happiness Report measures income, health, freedom,
generosity, and the absence of corruption), to the organizers, the
Finnish state of mind is a skill. As such, it can be taught and
thus shared with others. We believe that happiness is not a
mystical ability you are born withits an approach to life that you
can learn, writes the team of Visit Finland. They describe the
formula as a balanced life on the quirky side.
That's why the program makes the most of the Finnish summer and
will offer its guests a program featuring thing...
The latest report from the Biden Administration
writes off the benefits of Bitcoin while ignoring the fundamentals
and economic activity that give it value.
The White House has released the extensive Economic Report of
the President, which included a section titled Digital Assets:
Relearning Economic Principles. This section detailed Bitcoin, its
functionality and various possible benefits that proponents claim
for this popularity of crypto assets.
The proponents claims the report intends to address vary from
crypto assets serving as investment vehicles and enabling fast
digital payments, to improving the United States current financial
technology infrastructure. The report then addresses the Reality of
Crypto Assets, as the section is so titled, setting the record
straight in the eyes of the Administration.
Compared with many other asset types, crypto assets are very
volatile, and, hence, highly risky,
the report begins with. Because they are very volatile, crypto
assets can be used for speculation, an investment strategy that
seeks to make a profit from short-run trading. One reason many
crypto assets are highly volatile is that many of them do not have
a fundamental value. It then goes on to provide the example of
stocks and debt, comparing them to unbacked crypto assets [that]
are traded without fundamental anchors, suggesting that their
market prices only reflect speculative demand, or market sentiment,
not claims on cash flow.
In between this and the next statement, is an interjection Box
8-2 which details How Does Bitcoin Work? This box, coincidentally,
may serve as the answer to the question of, what is Bitcoins
fundamental value? in its description of the inner workings of
Bitcoin.
Straw manning bitcoins proponents, the report then goes on to
state that one of the purported benefits of crypto assets like
bitcoin was to hedge against inflation, meaning that their value
does not erode as inflation increases. But as inflation increased
globally in the second half of 2021 and in 2022, the prices of
crypto assets collapsed, proving them to be, at best, an
ineffective inflation hedge. While the inflation narrative
surrounding the 2020-2021 bull market did prove a distraction, the
price of bitcoin still soared during the pandemic, reaching all
time highs of $69,000. Besides that, bitcoin has
still been serving as a store of value for those living in
countries with highly i...
The PEZ dispenser with a Bitcoin design has
released in a limited-edition run of 30,000 units.
A Bitcoin-themed PEZ dispenser has officially launched.
Only 30,000 units will be produced.
The scarcity of units is meant to both mirror the scarcity of
bitcoin and create the first Bitcoin-themed candy collectible.
The worlds first
Bitcoin-themed PEZ dispenser has launched for a limited-edition
run, per a press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine.
ProSnacktive
Sales, a newly formed family-owned business, launched the
product exclusively on Walmart Marketplace. The company is
producing a hard limit of 30,000 units, mirroring the hard money
scarcity of bitcoin.
We believe the future is bright for Bitcoin, and that is one of
the main reasons we pursued this project, said Chris Coradini,
owner of ProSnacktive Sales LLC. Its a fun way to promote Bitcoin
and leave a long-lasting impression with all crypto, collectible,
and candy enthusiasts alike! And yes, bitcoin was used to help fund
this project!
While the markets are suffering a downturn and news of
acquisitions, liquidation events and volatile prices crowd
investors screens, ProSnacktive intends for this product to be a
well-deserved break from the market madness.
The company noted that while these PEZ dispensers might not need
to be HODLed quite as tightly as ones bitcoin, they still might be
worth holding onto as a collectible. One local Connecticut resident
and PEZ collector is already excited for the product launch.
Its awesome to hear that Bitcoin was adopted as a custom PEZ
design, local Connecticut resident Phil Grimaldi said. Im
definitely going to be buying more Bitcoin before the dispenser
goes on sale. I hope I am lucky enough to get one. PEZ and Bitcoin
to the moon!

Oh look the MSM suddenly saids the c19 comes from dogs but
the FBI states now a lab leak. Whoever could be right? that is the
question. The answer is neither are wrong. I guessing both outfits
know the truth but spin it up so that further down track it can be
unravelled to support a bigger cause. Actually one only needs to
check out what the anti-fur movement knew back in 2015 when
protests erupted and fur selling shops like Macys got stormed in
the USA and fur protests happened in Europe outside the Chinese
embassy regarding the cruelty of racoon dogs for it's fur
trade and experiments. I've mentioned before that med pages freely
available to the public published the very findings of their
enhanced coronavirus creations from racoon dogs so proud that they
were. They could have been doing this since 2009 and perhaps even
got grants from big players to perfect their success to one of
excellence in the gain of function stakes. I wonder if china is
going to be left holding the bag when the times right. Perhaps
findings from the past will miraculously come to light at a
suitable time just as world-wide anger starts to boil. The beating
of war drums could sound - as eluded to in in the you tube vid as a
hint. That's my take on where all this could be leading to. ( for
those that missed the research see screen shot below and thumbs up
to Becker News for their item that saves the rest of us from having
to read The Atlantic )
Its rare, for most of us, to see marine life in its natural
habitat. Thats why wildlife photographers are important; they
remind us of the beauty of these creatures and the importance of
protecting them. For over 30 years, photographer Chris Fallows has been taking pictures of animals in
the ocean and on land. Some of his most arresting images are of
humpback whalesa population that has previously been ravaged by the
whaling industry. But this species also shows how a decimated
population can recover with the right protections. Fallows has
celebrated their return with stunning images that showcase the
majesty of these creatures.
Based in South Africa, Fallows has witnessed the recovery of the
humpback whale population during his career. By the mid-1980s, it
was estimated that only 440 humpback whales remained south of the
Equator, Fallows explains to My Modern Met. This was around the
time when I started my natural history and photographic career.
When I was at sea off the coast of South Africa we quite simply
never saw them.
Whaling bans in the middle of the 1980s helped save humpback
whales from extinction. Additionally, it allowed their numbers to
rebound. The population in the Southern Hemisphere is now over
50,000 and coming close to what it was prior to industrial whaling.
For the past 10 years, ever increasing aggregations of humpbacks
have amassed off the South African coast to feed, Fallows shares,
with sometimes close to 200 whales being in an area the size of
just a few football fields.
There is an artistry to the whales' movements. Known as the
ballerinas of the sea for their athletic breaches and beautiful
hoisting of their tails, humpback whales are arguably the most
spectacular and flamboyant of the great whales, the photographer
continues. It is a sensorial overload, mesmerizing, breathtaking,
and humbling experience to be in close quarters with so many of
them.

I was trying on brassieres at Azaleas, the one
next to the Ukrainian National Home on Second Avenue. All the
brassieres looked terrible on me. This is because I have very small
breasts (which is okay, because I have absolutely fabulous
areolas). I picked out one that was a very pale blush pink, and
paid seventy dollars for it. Then my phone rang. It was my
roommate. There were bumps all over her body. They are very itchy,
she said, and asked me if I had them, too. I did not. When I got
back to our apartment in South Brooklyn, I stripped my sheets off
my bed. There was a large brown bug sunbathing on my mattress. I
poked it with a pen. It made a movement that seemed to say: Ouch. I
scanned the bed: there was a constellation of ink-colored
droplets.
The bedbug summer was in 2019. I had just
turned twenty-three. I was working atVogueas an assistant. I was
making very little money. I thought I was punk because I would
often show up to work with a gin hangover, plug in a pair of
headphones, and play YouTube videos where various artists performed
industrial music. I thought I was punk because all of my clothes
were from the garbage or had been gifted to me by people who also
worked atVogue(okay, I did buy stuff, like the bra). I thought I was punk
because I was dating a former child jazz prodigy who lived in a DIY
venue in Gowanus with no shower, no kitchen, but massive windows,
hardwood floors. A posh nightclub had opened up next door and I
sometimes went there to pee because I liked the soap. It all made
me feel very cool even though in reality it was pathetic. My
boyfriend slept on a twin-sized cot inside of what was functionally
an electrical closet. He was the first person I called about the
bedbugs. That evening he took me to the nightclub and bought me a
cocktail. He had a freck...

In autumn of 2020, artist Kaci
Smith was faced with a compound dilemma: daily life was still
affected by the pandemic while devastating wildfires spread around
her home in Northern California. The air was so filled with smoke
that even my studio became off limits, she says. The first branch
weaving was just a way to pass some time and do something creative
while being stuck indoors. Smith had previously turned to the craft
as a calming and meditative complement to her collage and painting
practice, so when she began to forage for twigs that she could
transform into delicate looms, she was excited about the
possibilities and a new challenge.
Weaving colorful weft threads through plain warp threads, Smiths
interventions suspend web-like miniature tapestries in natural
frames. Depending on the size of the branch or the complexity of
the pattern, a piece can take several days to complete. A few
months ago, she was inspired to utilize a leftover wishbone as a
way to honor the turkey that fed my family on Thanksgiving, she
says, and sources additional pieces online as byproducts of the
poultry industry. Even though tapestry is basically painting with
yarn, you can never rush it. The very nature of it teaches
patience, and there is a special rhythm in the repetition.
Want to dip your toes into crocheting? The National Park Service offers two free patterns that
will surely make your first project a splash. Based on species of
fish indigenous to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve and
Voyageurs National Park, these tutorials are designed for beginners
and regular crocheters.
Ranger Hailey Burley put together two patterns which include
necessary materials, instructions for all of the steps, and helpful
photographs. One pattern is based on the halibut, specifically the
Pacific halibut found in Alaska. Glacier Bay National Park and
Preserve protects over 950 square miles of ocean habitat, the
tutorial says. To get started, crafters will
need two different colors of yarn, crochet hooks, fiber fill, and a
pair of safety eyes. After completing the crochet pattern you add a
pair of eyes on one sideas halibut fish are known forand fill it
with some stuffing. Burley advises: Pacific halibut are a species
of flatfish, so don't overfill!
The other free pattern is based on the walleye fish. Located in
the lake-country of northern Minnesota, Voyageurs National Park
protects 218,054 acres. This includes roughly 84,000 acres of
waterA total of 54 fish species have been found in the park's
aquatic habitats, but Walleye remains a favorite, the tutorial
explains. In the case of this
project, Burkey recommends a multi-colored yarn, which will mimic
the pattern of the real fish. After you're done crocheting, you can
add the filling, which will result in an adorable fish plushie.
There are more rangers who have shared crochet projects inspired
by the nature of national parks. One depicts a freshwater
crustacean called a Triops, and requires the crafter to
work on a smaller scale and incorporate extra detail. Another draws
inspiration from the di...
With 3 children getting ready for school in the morning, 2 of
them being teenage girls, I wanted to create a spot outside of the
bathroom so they had another option for doing their hair and
makeup. Since building the vanity, the girls have used it everyday
and it's made a huge difference with their morning routine. My only
regret is not building it sooner! I bought the mirror first and
then built the hutch to fit.
